"Why are you beaming like that?" Elena asked with a puzzled look as she saw Ed’s ear-to-ear grin. For so reason, she also felt that Ed looked more charming, as if he’d just stepped out of a beauty parlour with a full-body makeover.

"You don’t understand," Said Ed, his mind still lingering on the wonderful feeling of being treated like a king by five won of the fishman race, and, of course, the absolutely marvelous feeling of f*cking a virgin’s super-tight pussy and breaking her seal. He casually brushed off her question and sat down on the edge of the ship, staring at the port while letting his imagination run wild.

To tell the truth, he’d never felt ti go by so quickly. One mont, he was getting a blowjob in the bathtub while savoring the taste of a beauty’s breasts and milk; the next, he rembered the receptionist telling him his ti was up and asking if he wanted to extend. Sadly, though he wanted to, neither ti nor his pocket allowed it. He could only tip the won, with whom he’d spent the best ti in the past few months, two silver coins each, and one gold leaf to the young one whose virginity he had taken, before leaving their paradise and returning to the ship.

"By the way, has Jason returned?" Suddenly rembering his ungrateful son ( just a joke between boys ), Ed turned to Elena, who was playing with a new ring on her hand. Recalling what she’d said earlier and noticing the backpack she’d carried when disembarking was nowhere to be seen, he couldn’t help but ask curiously, "A pocket-dinsion ring?"

Elena nodded with an excited smile. "It ate up all my savings, but it was worth it. And no, Jason hasn’t returned yet."

Ed nodded and didn’t ask further, but deep down, he wondered what was taking that bastard so long.

He didn’t find another fat sheep and make so quick money, did he?

Just as he was thinking, he saw a figure rushing toward them from afar. The figure leaped directly onto the deck.

The exaggerated action didn’t surprise the surrounding dockworkers much; they seed used to it. That made sense, almost 90 percent of ships on this island were headed to the Dark Region, and every ship had at least one or two "touchers" aboard. They’d definitely seen more marvelous things than a guy jumping a few ters high.

"So, how was it?" Ed already sensed he was about to be mocked, but he still asked out of curiosity.

Just as he expected, Jason first said nothing, simply greeting him and Elena. But when she left, he flashed a bright smile, took out his wallet, and waved it in front of Ed.

"Guess how much I earned this ti?" He said smugly.

"But didn’t you say you were going to refuse pressure? How did you fool another fat sheep?" Ed asked the question that bothered him the most.

"Hahaha! Initially, I was indeed heading to a love house to find so chicks, but on the way, I saw three rich ladies in a flower shop bad-mouthing their husbands. I hid outside and listened to their talk, and found out one of them has an old husband whose ’tool’ stopped working long ago. She’s very dissatisfied with her sex life.

"If we had ti, I’d definitely have made her fall in love with and enjoyed her sexy body and wealth slowly. But we only had five hours, so when she was alone for a mont, I covered her mouth, kidnapped her, and took her to a secluded alley."

Then Jason told his story in detail: how he first threatened to kill her if she didn’t give him 50 gold sails, but of course, no one carried that much money while casually strolling in the market. The lady said she didn’t have that much but was willing to do anything in exchange for her life.

As soon as she said that, exactly what Jason was waiting for, he instantly demanded sex. Because she herself was frustrated from not having sex for years and was looking for a way to get laid (the main reason Jason chose her among the three), and because Jason wasn’t bad-looking, she agreed without hesitation.

They found a good tavern nearby, booked a room, and Jason f*cked her nonstop for hours before telling her the truth. The lady, more than satisfied with his hours of hard work, gave him the 10 gold sails she was carrying as a reward.

"You lucky dog..." Ed cursed, hearing the other’s third-rate story. He couldn’t believe Jason could have such good luck. On one hand, Ed had lost 25 gold sails to have fun; on the other, Jason not only f*cked a sexy milf for free but also got pocket money.

...

Seeing everyone had returned, Andre waved, and the sails automatically lowered. The ship slowly sailed out of its berth, this ti heading straight into the darkness.

"This ti we’re heading to the Dark Region, a place many of you haven’t been to before. I’ll explain the precautions you need to know there."

Andre returned to his captain’s cabin and addressed the crew. The others sat nearby, listening attentively.

"First, the Illuminating Stone. You must always carry it with you. It’s perpetually dark inside; you can’t see the sun.

"If you hear any strange whispers during the voyage, you must tell us. This is very important, you must speak up. It ans your spirit has been corrupted by darkness. Rapid treatnt can guarantee there won’t be any problems, but the longer it goes on, the bigger the problems beco, until eventually it’s untreatable."

So dangerous? Ed was sowhat surprised. Could it even affect one’s ntal state? Anyone with a bit of knowledge knew that anything touching the mind was better left alone, yet they were going to directly face it, which didn’t seem like a good decision.

"Secondly, there are sea monsters. The Dark Region is teeming with them, and given our current objective, we’re bound to encounter them, so be prepared. Also, don’t go to the islands alone, and don’t leave the vicinity of the ship alone."

After briefly explaining so precautions, Andre pulled out a map from below. Everyone looked at it.

The map clearly looked quite old; the drawing technique and thod had a distinctly ancient feel. Combined with mottled marks of ti, it indicated this was a very ancient map.

"This is the Dark Region before it was destroyed. Although it’s now completely shrouded in darkness, the location of these islands hasn’t changed. As for current maps of the Dark Region, due to the situation here, basically no one draws them anymore, at most, they only draw maps of specific islands."

Hearing Andre’s words, Ed frowned. He needed good maps so his system could work and show him the locations of hidden treasure. If there was no map, how was he going to make a killing?

Would this kind of map even be useful? Could it show the location of the treasure? But since the terrain hadn’t changed, only covered by a dark outer shell, it should be fine.

Thinking this, Ed hurriedly blinked at the map and activated his system’s scanning feature. Then, a dense array of various glowing dots appeared on the map. Seeing this, Ed nodded in relief.

However, the dots on the sea map couldn’t be clicked; they only showed their location and the color they represented.

Ed roughly divided maps into three types: world maps, sea maps, and island maps. A world map didn’t necessarily encompass the entire world but had to be a large map pieced together from several regions. This type of map, like the world map Ed viewed earlier, would show the quantity of treasure in a particular area—such as "large quantity" or "small quantity."

The sea map he was seeing now was a map of a specific region. This type would mark various glowing dots based on the details of the map. These dots only showed their specific location; you couldn’t click them to view the information they represented.

To know the specific information, you needed a detailed map encompassing the dots, an island map. In other words, it needed to be detailed enough. This kind of map could mark treasure locations very accurately and even allow you to click on glowing points to know their details.

Then, Andre pointed to a location: "This is where the destructive power began, so this has beco the core area of the Dark Region." That place wasn’t in the center of the map, but slightly to the upper right corner.

Next, Andre drew a circle near the center, slightly to the lower left. "This is our destination this ti. We need to find places where holy artifacts might be hidden on the islands surrounded by this area."

Ed looked carefully; the circle Andre drew directly included three islands. He couldn’t help but ask, "Do you have maps of these islands?"

"Only this island has one," Andre pointed to one of the islands and took out a small map from below. The drawing style showed it was made in recent tis.

Ed looked at the small island. Six glowing points appeared on it: four white, two blue. He took the map, looked at it, and blinked at it.

Since the Holy Relic could only be a blue-grade treasure, Ed simply touched the two blue dots twice without leaving a trace. There would be plenty of opportunities with the white dots later; no need to rush.

However, both dots revealed random magical treasures. This ant neither was what they were looking for. Ed already had so understanding of their target; it was impossible that it wouldn’t even display the na.

If it was truly located in this area, then it was probably only on the other two islands, or perhaps it had simply sunk to the bottom of the sea. After all, looking at the sea map, there were several dots not on islands, but in the ocean.

Andre looked at Elena and said, "Once we reach our destination, your task is to draw maps of the other two islands first. That way, even if we don’t find much this ti, at least we’ll have made a contribution, preventing the archbishops from nagging all day."

What a lazy ass, already thinking about an escape route? But I like it, as expected of the captain I work for. He’s very similar to in so cases, Ed thought, giving Andre a thumbs-up in his mind.

Hearing this, Elena nodded directly; after all, this was her job. Ed was also relatively at ease; as long as Elena drew the map, he’d have a good chance of finding the treasure. The premise was that their target was actually on the islands and not in the ocean sowhere else, that they didn’t have the wrong information.

At this mont, Andre sensed sothing and looked outside. He then said, "We’re about to enter the Dark Region."

Hearing this, the group who had never seen it before imdiately ran to the deck. They couldn’t help but be curious about the true appearance of the Dark Region. When they pushed open the wooden door and stepped onto the deck, they were stunned by what they saw outside.
