Wenyan quickly took out another phone from her bag.

“Right! We just happened to be coming from the airport, and it was on the way here,” Shen Jingchuan added to clarify.
“So that’s it.” Wenyan nodded, “Then I should thank my two brothers for their concern. I intended to handle the situation myself first before notifying you. I hope I didn’t cause any delay for your important matters.”
“All that is not important.” Shen Jingxiu walked over and stood beside Shen Jingchuan, the two brothers placing Wenyan behind them, “Did you co to find that Wen Chengcai?”

As she spoke, Wenyan wriggled through between her two brothers, squeezing out from between them.

Having said that, Wenyan turned her gaze back to the brother opposite her.
“Shall we go in and talk about it?”
“Okay.” The third brother agreed, turned around, and quickly tidied up the room.
Soon, the four of them sat down in the cramped and ssy tin shack.
Wenyan turned her phone back on and handed it to the third brother.
“Take a look in my photo album, see if it contains what you’ve been searching for.”
Seeing the black and white photo of Wenrou on Wenyan’s phone, the third brother stood up in agitation, with such force that even the chair toppled to the ground.
“How do you have this photo?”
Wenyan didn’t respond to his question, instead saying, “Keep on flipping through. There’s a photo of a letter after that. See if you recognize the handwriting.”
The third brother rapidly found the letter Wenyan was talking about.
He recognized it at first glance, “This is Xiaorou’s handwriting. Is this a letter she wrote to ? She had a daughter for ???”
The affirmation in the third brother’s first sentence was stark compared to the sheer shock in the last two.

The third brother stood frozen in place.
He said no more, the dramatic heaving in his chest was the only thing moving.
Shen Jingxiu and Shen Jingchuan, hearing the word ‘daughter,’ exchanged glances, their brows deeply furrowed.
