Chapter 990: Escape

At the start, chaos remained. ST rcenaries and the governnt soldiers didn’t trust each other previously, and the explosion directly shattered that thin layer of brittle trust. After including a governnt soldier’s statent of seeing a rcenary in the uniform of the Miscellaneous troops leaving before the explosion, both sides were in a standoff, pointing guns at each other and not believing anyone.
The governnt soldiers didn’t trust ST even more now. Everybody here knew that no one would dare infiltrate this place without proper asures, so clearly, this was ST’s own n trying to make a wreck to raise their fees!
When Sakra was inford that his captive was missing, the whole situation’s intensity kicked up a couple of notches. T6, who blended in amongst the governnt soldiers, cussed in the official language, Farsi, and picked up his gun and opened fire at so place.
Both sides were on a standoff before this, the mont they heard gunshots… the entirety of ST headquarters was enveloped in bullets.
When the governnt army officials sitting inside the room heard the gunshots, their expressions changed drastically. Every one of them pulled out their guns at pointing them at Sakra. This scenario was exactly the type of scenario Xia Jinyuan, and the others would be happy to witness.
This was also why they said ‘great news’ when they noticed the appearance of the governnt troops. When the two factions fought each other, a third faction could fish in the muddy waters and retreat easily, How was that not great news?
Furthermore, the Chinese military didn’t have any intention of fighting head-on with ST, nor did they have any intention of becoming enemies with ST. At least, they don’t have such thoughts at the mont.
Of course, that was on the absolute premise that ST did not antagonize China!
