“I didn’t expect you to be so calculative in your heart, huh! Hahaha, dear ng Wen, your thoughts aren’t proper, huh! Did you forget everything you’ve learned in the week of military boot camp?”
Yang Yi and the others listened to what An Jiaxin said in confusion. None of them realized what they were talking about, but the face of ng Wen, who understood what she ant, was tinged red. She glared: “Don’t you spout nonsense! I didn’t think anything like that!”
“What do you an you didn’t think anything like that? What are you two talking about? Why don’t we get it?”

“I’m not trying to say anything. You girls ask ng Wen, ask her, ask her.” An Jiaxin didn’t expose ng Wen’s little tricks. The present her also knew how to stay in line. She knew that so things would be fine if she herself knew about, there’s no need to announce it to the world to prevent embarrassing soone else.

ng Wen saw An Jiaxin didn’t rat her out and imdiately let out a breath of relief. Then, she noticed her other classmates were pestering her with questions. She thought about having her dinner in the neighboring room, but she was afraid that An Jiaxin would talk behind her back after leaving, so she sat in a corner and sulked by herself.
The midterms this ti were crucial. It was very likely it would be a reference point for prestigious universities to process admissions. Ye Jian was so impressive, so why should she contend with the other students for the admissions slot? Having a ‘zero’ on one of her midterms wouldn’t even affect her getting into a prestigious university.
