With such a huge number, Long Yifan knew it was better to run away. He can still face a supre rank beast head on but 20? Impossible.
Sprinting in his house, he walked up to Gu Jin’s room and held her in his arms. Exiting the house, he put it in his storage room and started to run.
To his dismay, he realized that all the supre beasts were rushing in his direction. Their murderous intent was written on their face.
Outrunning the Supre Rank beast was a pure foolish thought, however, Long Yifan wanted to know who the supre beast was after.
If they were after him, he would hand Gu Jin to his friend and run away in a different direction.
He doesn’t want Gu Jin to be involved in his ss. Not when she had sacrificed so much for him.
So Long Yifan started to find his friend. Maybe the luck was in his favor because he ca across Sheng Han.
Without hesitation, Long Yifan told her, his plan and she agreed.
Sheng Han held Gu Jin in her hand with ease and ran away in the opposite direction.
Long Yifan turned to look at the supre-rank beast and waited for them to reach to him, before running in the opposite direction of Sheng Han.
The supre rank beast cast only two glances in his direction, before following Sheng Han.
It is as if they were not bothered by his presence at all.
’Uh...oh...not good.’
Long Yifan thought and started to run in another direction. He had asked Sheng Han to et him at an intersection up ahead.
Sheng Han soon reached the intersection and without a word, Long Yifan took Gu Jin’s arms.
"So the beast is behind her?" Sheng Han asked with worry.
Long Yifan didn’t reply, instead, he started to run away. That was the only thing he could do.
Soon one of the supre rank beasts.
The Green Crab charged toward Long Yifan, its massive claws snapping with bone-crushing force.
Its erald carapace shimred in the moonlight, reflecting the eerie glow of its nacing aura.
Long Yifan’s "Nine Pillars: Fiery Flas" roared to life, encircling the crab in a searing inferno.
Flas licked at its shell, but the creature’s natural resistance to fire made the attack less effective than he had hoped.
The crab emitted a low, guttural hiss and smashed the ground with its claws, extinguishing so of the flas.
Long Yifan frowned, quickly assessing the situation.
"Fire won’t cut it. I need to exploit its weaknesses."
The crab’s carapace was nearly impenetrable, but its joints—where the legs t the body—appeared less protected.
He’d have to aim for precision strikes.
With a swift motion, Long Yifan summoned "Lightning Chains", streaks of golden electricity arcing through the air and binding the crab’s legs.
Sparks crackled as the creature thrashed, struggling against the restraints.
"Ti to hit it where it hurts," Long Yifan muttered, shifting elents.
Using the wind elent, he enhanced his speed and agility, darting under the beast’s body.
The crab’s claws slamd down where he had been monts before, missing him by inches.
Long Yifan focused on its exposed underbelly and unleashed "Shadow Lance", a concentrated burst of dark energy aid at a soft joint.
The lance struck true, eliciting a pained screech from the crab as black ichor oozed from the wound.
Encouraged, Long Yifan prepared another spell, but the crab retaliated, swinging one massive claw with terrifying speed.
The impact sent him flying into a nearby tree, the bark splintering upon impact. Pain radiated through his back, and he coughed, tasting blood.
The crab was far from finished—it lunged toward him, its claws clicking ominously.
"Not good..." Long Yifan grimaced, forcing himself to stand.
Switching to the ice elent, he ford "Frost Barricade", a thick wall of ice that halted the crab’s advance montarily.
The beast shattered the wall with a single blow, but it gave Long Yifan the ti he needed to prepare his next move.
He combined earth and sound elents, creating "Resonant Tremor".
The ground beneath the crab quaked violently, disorienting it as a deafening hum filled the air.
The crab staggered, its movents slower and less coordinated.
"Now’s my chance!"
Long Yifan summoned "Lightburst Arrow", a piercing beam of radiant energy, and targeted another joint in its leg.
The beam struck with precision, severing one of its limbs.
The crab roared in agony but refused to go down, its other legs propelling it forward with terrifying determination.
Despite his attacks, the crab’s sheer resilience and relentless aggression kept Long Yifan on the defensive.
Its claws glowed faintly green, charged with venom as it lashed out with renewed fury.
Long Yifan narrowly dodged, but the venom splattered across the ground, sizzling as it corroded the soil.
"This is getting worse by the second," Long Yifan muttered, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
His body ached from the repeated impacts, and his mana reserves were draining rapidly from the continuous use of Heaven Rank spells.
The crab, while wounded, still moved with deadly purpose.
Long Yifan clenched his fists, his resolve hardening. "I can’t let it get to Gu Jin."
He shifted to chaos magic chanting under his breath, he conjured "Entropy Spiral", a swirling vortex of chaotic energy that engulfed the crab.
Yet even chaos magic only slowed the creature. It seed to thrive on sheer willpower, fueled by its rage and predatory instincts.
Long Yifan took a deep breath, centering himself. He prepared his final move, pooling what remained of his mana.
Combining light, shadow, and wind, he cast "Celestial Gale", a devastating attack that unleashed razor-sharp gusts imbued with alternating light and dark energy.
The winds tore into the crab, bypassing its carapace and hitting its exposed wounds.
The beast let out a final screech, collapsing in a heap. Its claws twitched once before going still.
Long Yifan dropped to one knee, gasping for air. His body was battered, and his mana reserves were nearly depleted, but he had won.
As he staggered to his feet, he heard distant roars—more supre-rank beasts were closing in.
"No rest for the weary," he muttered, clutching Gu Jin closer.
But before leaving, he hurriedly took out the core crystal from the supre rank beast and continued to run.
Unlike other mages who needed to cultivate to rise in ranks, his cultivation thod was different.
The energy from the core crystal started to seep into Long Yifan’s body. His cold body was slowly turning warm.
Before this battle, he never knew he was capable of fighting a supre-rank beast.

Long Yifan realized sothing.
Those beasts though emitting the aura of the supre rank beast weren’t actually supre rank beasts.
They might be a quasi-supre rank beast.
That would explain why he was able to defeat one. If it was true then he could take down all the beasts one by one.
However...
However he knew one thing for sure...if this continued, the entire forgotten elental world would be destroyed with him. And he didn’t want that...not with Gu Jin in his arms.
If he continuously absorbed the quasi-supre rank beast cores then, he would have a breakthrough.
But the shockwaves of breaking through will cause imnse damage to this world. However, if he doesn’t absorb the cores, he will run out of mana.
"F*ck." Long Yifan muttered. Only if he had a way to make Gu Jin teleport back to the magic world.
"Long Yifan!" A panic-stricken voice called out. Long Yifan’s back stiffened.
He was more than familiar with that voice. Gu Aihan.
"Long Yifan! Long Yifan rescue ! I am your fiance! Throw that Gu Jin away! I have seen it! She is the reason why you are in danger in the first place!" Gu Aihan shouted.
Just an hour ago she had fainted. However, she jolted awake when one of the supre-rank beasts almost crushed her under its feet.
She hurriedly marched into the dense forest in the hopes of finding a small hideout. Just now when she was finding, she saw Long Yifan’s fight from a distance.
Seeing him defeating a supre-rank beast on his own, Gu Aihan was delighted. She found a way to survive!
