Gu Jin ignored her and prepared to cast her spell. She closed her eyes briefly, focusing her energy.

When she opened them, they blazed with determination. With a swift motion, she summoned a powerful fire spell, her hands moving gracefully as she directed the energy toward the target.

A massive fire dragon erged, roaring as it flew towards the wooden target.

This was one of the tricks that Gu Jin had learned from Tang Guan.

Even though that guy was very arrogant and sotis acted like a fool, he is indeed a genius when it cos to magic.

The students watched in awe as the dragon struck the target with imnse force, reducing it to ashes in an instant.

The examiners exchanged impressed glances, nodding in approval.

The lead examiner stepped forward, his voice filled with respect.

"O for rank and O for spell casting. An outstanding performance."

Silence.

The atmosphere turned silent before the students started to comnt one by one,

"God! With this grade won’t she beco topper?"

"What do you an by becoming? She is the topper."

Gu Jin stepped down the stage under the watchful eyes of students and teachers who admired her.

At first, Gu Jin decided to conceal her cultivation, but after ng Ran’s words and Chu Hua’s statent, Gu Jin beca angry.

She wasn’t a saint in the first place.

She belonged to the type of people who would hold a grudge till the end of their lives if she didn’t find a place to vent her anger.

Chu Hua was in disbelief.

How could...how could an orphan like Gu Jin surpass her?

What was even more embarrassing was how she claid that she canceled the duel because she thought that Gu Jin could never compare to her...

Now...Gu Jin directly slapped her in the face...

For a mont Chu Hua felt as if everyone was laughing at her.

However, the truth was, that though so people were mocking her, most of them were concerned about their own result, rather than being concerned about Chu Hua.

Gu Jin walked back to her place.

The examination continued and by afternoon, the examination was finally over.

The results were announced in public.

As expected Gu Jin was the topper, while Chu Hua ranked 2nd. Third was a guy nad Ji Hanjiu.

One by one each of them was handed a gift.

The third prize ranker got a low-rank defensive tool, and the second rank Chu Hua got access to a cultivation tower for 3 days while Gu Jin got a scholarship, and 100,000 yuan.

Gu Jin was stunned when she got to know that the first ranker got money for ranking and she was instantly motivated to rank first in the coming years!

Unaware of Gu Jin’s thoughts, Chu Hua had only one thought in her mind.

Can’t let Gu Jin surpass her!

Even though she doesn’t dislike Gu Jin anymore, it doesn’t stop her from feeling envious when she sees Gu Jin being declared the topper.

She swore in her heart to practice even more and beat Gu Jin one day!

Gu Jin returned to Long Mansion.

However, when she saw the empty Long Mansion, Gu Jin couldn’t help but think about a certain, handso young man who had gorgeous black hair and srizing blue eyes!

Just then she sensed a strange turbulence in her space and her eyes brightened.

Gu Jin returned to her room and entered the space.

Once in the space, she saw so strange black clouds enveloping the Beast Tar Island.

Is Si Kai about to break through?

Even though he is about to break through, why there are so many clouds? Gu Jin thought.

She was a little worried.

Whoosh.

Whoosh.

The black clouds flashed before the sound of thunder ca.

Worried Gu Jin tried to enter the Beats Tar island, however, she wasn’t able to...so she could only look from afar.

After 3 hours the black clouds started to fade.

Gu Jin waited for Si Kai to co out but even after an hour, Si Kai didn’t co out.

Did the black clouds harm him?

Did he go through so thunder tribulation?

Various thoughts appeared in Gu Jins’ mind.

"Sister!" A slight soft voice ca and before Gu Jin could react, a white ball rushed towards her, from the island.

Gu Jin subconsciously hugged the white ball.

When she saw the white ball, she was so shocked that she almost wanted to throw it away.

"Sister it’s !" Si Kai said with a bit of helplessness...

"You..." Gu Jin was speechless.

Who wouldn’t? When she last saw Si Kai, he went inside as a human, but now...what was lying in her hand was a cute white lion cub!

Gu Jin hates fluffy and white things the most.

However...knowing Si Kai was the cute white lion cub...Gu Jin was filled with a weird feeling.

"Sister, do you know what I have faced till now, I....sister? What are you doing? Waah!" Si Kai shouted.

Gu Jin was currently hugging Si Kai and was rubbing his face with her cheeks.

Gu Jin couldn’t help herself.

How can sothing...be so cute?

My little brother who has transford into a cub looks so good!

"Sister stop!" Si Kai said.

Due to his white fur, Gu Jin didn’t know that Si Kai was in fact blushing hard!

Si Kai didn’t want to admit that he loved it when Gu Jin rubbed her face with him. For a mont he was filled with delight.

However he hid his expression and acted confused,

"Sister, what are you doing?"

He then placed one of his paws on Gu Jin’s shoulder and tapped on it twice.

"You..." Gu Jin froze.

Si Kai too froze when he saw Gu Jin stopping.

What happened?

Did his sister co back to her senses?

God!

Si Kai regretted his decision and even decided to never use his paws to stop Gu Jin.

However, to his surprise, Gu Jin suddenly kissed him on the cheeks,

"So cute."

Si Kai was stunned before his face turned red completely.

Gu Jin walked back to the main island while hugging Si Kai and placed him on the ground,

"Now return to your original shape, we can talk about how you beco like this and what we should do to hide your aura."

It can’t be helped.

Every Mage emits a strange kind of aura, that is identifiable by other mages. Humans have their own aura and beasts have it too.

Currently, Si Kai’s aura was more like a beast now, rather than human!

"Sister...I can’t revert back to my original form..." Si Kai said in a hesitant voice.

Gu Jin paused, her eyes narrowing slightly as she looked at the small lion cub in front of her.

Si Kai’s transformation was not only unexpected but also problematic, given his inability to return to his human form.

"What do you an you can’t revert back?" she asked, her tone serious.

Si Kai’s ears drooped, and he looked genuinely troubled.

"I don’t know what happened, sister. When I started my breakthrough, everything was normal at first.

But then, those black clouds appeared, and I felt sothing changing inside . Before I knew it, I had transford into this form, and now I can’t change back."

Gu Jin took a deep breath, processing the information.

"We’ll figure it out," she said, her voice steady. "For now, we need to focus on hiding your aura and keeping your transformation a secret."

Si Kai nodded, his little cub face determined.

"Yes, sister. I don’t want to cause any trouble for you."

Hmm?

Gu Jin narrowed her eyes. Was this brat still the sa guy who tried to sell her ti and ti again?

"Are you truly my brother? I am doubting you."

Si Kai paused and suddenly leaped. In just one leap, he successfully landed on Gu Jin’s head and said,

"Let’s see. Based on how smart you are, you do look like my sister, but..."

"But?" Gu Jin raised an eyebrow.

"But you’re forgetting how amazing I am," he declared confidently, puffing out his tiny chest.

Gu Jin was silent for a few seconds before starting to laugh.

Si Kai:"..."

He waited for Gu Jin to stop laughing, however, Gu Jin kept on laughing.

Finally having enough, Si Kai’s mouth twitched and he said,

"Sister keep on laughing and you will look like a middle-aged person in your early 20s!"

Gu Jin: "..." He was still as poisonous as ever. He is indeed Si Kai.

Si Kai was however wasn’t done and taunted Gu Jin,

"And if you keep making that face, you’ll scare away all potential suitors. Not that you have any right now," he added with a mischievous grin.

Gu Jin’s smile vanished.

She suddenly entered the house on the island and checked whether she looked scary while laughing.

Was this the reason why Long Yifan didn’t like her?

The confused Si Kai followed behind and asked.

"What are you doing?"
