Chapter 379: Trading Blows
“You’re here, Xiangyi!”
“Long ti no see, Xiangyi, you’re more beautiful than before!”
The n crowded around Qin Xiangyi and showered praises on her.
They devoured her alluring body with their hungry eyes. So of the less savory characters were beginning to drool.
“Are you here by yourself, Xiangyi? What a coincidence, too! That makes the two of us. I’m the class representative, Wang Jiadong! Don’t you rember ?”
A tall man squeezed past the crowd and introduced himself eagerly.
He had bushy eyebrows, big eyes, and a masculine face. He wore an Armani suit, and his hair was impeccably styled with mousse.
He seed to be incredibly excited. He had been interested in courting the beauty queen since their university days but he never had the chance.
Now that he saw the beauty queen arriving at the gathering alone, he thought that she did not have a boyfriend and therefore he had a chance.
The other n also introduced themselves to Qin Xiangyi one after another.
Qin Xiangyi discreetly took a step backward and said, “I’m sorry, I didn’t co here alone. My boyfriend is here too, he’s gone to park the car and will be here soon.”
After that, she smiled apologetically.
Everyone was shocked when they heard that.
‘The beauty queen has a boyfriend?’
The news had thoroughly stunned them. They could not believe it. When they finally processed that information, they displayed disappointed looks on their faces. So of the n even wailed out loud.
Yan Lili was also stunned. ‘She has a boyfriend now?’
She stretched her neck and looked toward the entrance. She was incredibly curious about who that woman’s boyfriend was. She knew that Qin Xiangyi has very high standards, which was why she remained single throughout her four years in university.
At the sa ti, she was also preparing to laugh at her.
No matter who Qin Xiangyi’s boyfriend might be, he would never be better than her husband. Why would Qin Xiangyi bring her boyfriend when she knew that Yan Lili married a perfect husband? There was no way that Qin Xiangyi would be spared from humiliation.
The n also looked toward the entrance. They wore hostile expressions on their faces.
At that ti, Tang Hao walked into the hall.
He was surprised when he saw that everyone was looking at him.
The people in the hall were even more surprised when they saw Tang Hao. They opened their eyes wide, unable to believe what they saw.
The young man who had stepped in the hall looked quite handso, and his clothes looked expensive.
However... he was too young!
He did not look to be more than twenty years old. In their eyes, he was no more than a child and even a boy toy!
‘Perhaps Xiangyi had bought the clothes he was wearing too!’
Everyone had already judged him at that instant.
They knew that Qin Xiangyi was rich. After graduation, she returned to her ho province and started a clothing factory there. She earned millions every year and drove a Ferrari.
Of course, the kid might be from a wealthy family too.
That was less probable though, and they would rather believe that Tang Hao was a boy toy rather than having wealthy parents.
They stared daggers at Tang Hao, their expressions an equal mix of jealousy and anger.
So people started to regard Qin Xiangyi with condescension.
“I was blind to like her. I thought that she would be different from other won, but she’s just a seductress who likes boy toys after all].”
Those people mocked her loudly.
The won had mixed reactions. They did not expect Qin Xiangyi to have a boy toy younger than her as a boyfriend. Had she lost her mind?
After her initial shock, Yan Lili’s shoulders started shaking because she tried hard not to burst out laughing.
‘Hahaha! This stupid filthy b*tch brought a boy toy here! This is too funny!’
‘She might as well be slapping herself in the face in front of everyone!’
She covered her mouth to stop her from laughing but she could not hold it back.
“Hahaha!”
She finally burst out laughing which only grew in intensity and volu. Soon, she was doubled over with laughter.
“Hahaha! Xiangyi, he... is he your boyfriend? Haha! He looks so tender. I didn’t know you are fond of kids. Oh my, this is too funny!”
Her belly was hurting from all the laughter.
Tang Hao rolled his eyes. He went next to Qin Xiangyi and whispered, “Is that woman... crazy or sothing? Or is she having a stroke? Is it even that funny?”
Qin Xiangyi burst out laughing when she heard that.
Even though Tang Hao spoke softly, the people around him heard that.
The laughter stopped abruptly.
Yan Lili’s expression imdiately turned hostile. She shrieked like a mad woman, “What are you saying, you boy toy? You’re the one who’s crazy. Your entire family is crazy!”
Tang Hao pressed his lips but did not say anything.
‘Why does everyone think I’m a boy toy? Do I really look like one?’
He touched his face, feeling a little frustrated.
He did not think that a boy toy was a positive comnt. He had achieved much with his effort and abilities, but everyone else thought that he relied on other won for money. He was not too happy about that.
Qin Xiangyi noticed the change in his expression. She leaned over and said, “They’re complinting you, Lil Tang. They say that you’re handso. If you’re not handso, how would you be a boy toy?”
“I suppose that’s true... I’ll treat it as though she’s complinting then!” Tang Hao said helplessly.
Yan Lili stamped her foot in anger when she heard that. “Who the hell is complinting you, you shaless boy?” She shrieked, “No wonder the two of you can go together. Both of you are shaless!”
Before Tang Hao could open her mouth, Qin Xiangyi smirked. “You’re still the sa, Yan Lili. Nothing good ever cos out of your mouth. That’s probably all the class you have.”
“You...” Yan Lili choked. She wanted to retort but could not find the words.
Qin Xiangyi smiled in triumphant glee.
She was no pushover when it ca to arguing. One would need to be prepared to be flayed if they decided to argue with her.
Yan Lili’s face turned red when she noticed Qin Xiangyi’s expression. She was about to explode.
“How dare you insult , Qin woman!” She said viciously.
“I’m not insulting you, I’m describing you. You really don’t have much class, or any at all,”Qin Xiangyi said calmly.
“You...!”
Yan Lili jumped up and down in anger. Her breathing got heavier and her expression beca scary.
“Don’t be angry, Baby. You don’t look good when you’re angry!” He Zhengyu tried to comfort her.
When she heard that, her anger imdiately disappeared.
“Oh, so he’s the ‘perfect husband’ that you were talking about?” Qin Xiangyi said sarcastically as she shifted her gaze to look at He Zhengyu.
Yan Lili imdiately found sothing to latch onto. “That’s right. He is... my honey. Isn’t he a hundred tis, no, a thousand tis better than that boy toy of yours?” She seed incredibly smug as she said that.
After speaking, she looked at Qin Xiangyi with a mocking gaze.
