Chapter 250: Another Encounter With Ling Wei
The mood in the hall was festive.
Everyone at the party was the society’s elite. They chatted casually and happily among themselves.
Tang Hao sat at one corner of the hall. He was feeling bored.

Tang Hao was surprised. ‘President Ling? Is it her?’
He stood up and walked toward the front door.
He looked past the crowd and noticed a female figure walking toward the door.
She looked like she had walked out of a dream. She wore a sky-blue evening gown that looked lavish and elegant.
The evening gown was form-fitting, which accentuated the curves of her body. Her body was slender and tall, and her flawless legs attracted everyone’s attention.
What was more attractive was her perfect face. It shone under the bright lights.

Everyone’s eyes glazed over.
Even Tang Hao was also stunned when he saw her.

She walked over with a charming smile and nodded at the people around her.

Then, she sat down next to Tang Hao.
Everyone was dumbstruck when they saw that.
‘Who the hell is that guy? Where did he co from?
‘Old Master Luo was respectful of him, and now he’s so close with President Ling.’
Everyone admired him, even though they were equally as shocked.
“Long ti no see, President Ling!” Tang Hao greeted her with a smile.
Ling Wei straightened her jet-black hair. “It’s been a while! About two months, I think?”
Then, she sighed. “Too bad though!”
“What’s wrong?”
“Too bad I didn’t manage to convince you to sell your recipe last ti. Your Bingji Beauty Cream seems to be selling very well! I’ve also given it a try. The results are amazing, even better than the beauty cream you gave the last ti!” Ling Wei said.
“Your Tai An Group is so big. One less product won’t even cause a dent in its earnings!” Tang Hao said.
“That’s not the sa thing. Tai An Group was started by my father. I’ve yet to leave my mark on it.”
Then, Ling Wei leaned closer to Tang Hao and stared at him unblinkingly with her beautiful eyes.
“Hey! Do you have any other recipes?” She whispered.
Tang Hao smiled. “Of course I do!”
“What are they? Are they also beauty products?” Ling Wei looked expectant.
“No!” Tang Hao shook his head.
“What is it then?” Ling Wei was becoming more curious.
“An aphrodisiac!”
“Ah?” Ling Wei blushed and looked at Tang Hao bashfully.
She thought that Tang Hao was making fun of her.
“I didn’t expect that you’re such a joker!” She said, pretending to be angry.
“I’m not joking with you! The aphrodisiac is quite amazing!” Tang Hao said seriously.
“You weren’t joking?” Ling Wei was stunned again.
“Of course!” Tang Hao nodded.
“Hah! I was mistaken!” Ling Wei blushed again.
Then, she beca surprised. “If the aphrodisiac is as amazing as the beauty cream and the weight loss tea, that would be incredible! There’s a huge market for that! I don’t think you’d sell the recipe though!”
Tang Hao smiled.
The aphrodisiac indeed had a great prospect. He was not going to sell the recipe no matter how much money she offered.
They chatted for a while more when Ling Wei suddenly rembered sothing. She hesitated for a while and asked, “You are... quite proficient in martial arts, right?”
“I’m alright! What about it?” Tang Hao said.
Lin Wei lowered her voice. “I need your help with sothing!”
She paused for a while and continued, “I’ve received several threats lately.”
Tang Hao’s expression changed when he heard that.
“You’re not calling the police?”
“Of course I did. The situation is rather peculiar though. A business rival is giving trouble. It’s a multinational company called Beck Corporation. Have you heard of them before?”
“I’ve seen their na online!” Tang Hao nodded.
“Recently, Tai An Group and Beck Corporation have been competing for a project. We managed to win it, and Beck Corporation is trying to stop us from signing the contract by any ans.
“We’ll be signing the contract tomorrow, and I’d like you to go with . In case Beck Corporation tries to physically obstruct , I think I’ll be safe with you protecting .
“Don’t worry, there won’t be too much danger. It’s an important day tomorrow, and I will have a lot of bodyguards escorting . I’m asking you to co along because I think I need the extra protection. The contract is very important, after all.”
Tang Hao thought for a while and eventually agreed.
It was a good thing for Haotian Co. Ltd. if they could strike a friendly relationship with a large corporation like Tai An Group.

Tang Hao sent Ling Wei to the entrance. Three bodyguards were already waiting for her. They escorted her into a car.
Then, the car slowly drove away.
