['Ahhh!!'] Alex panicked.

He had already done what she wanted him to do, but she was still pushing on and making things harder for him.

Blood started trickling down from both sides of his nose. The more force she added, the more pain and ntal strength Alex lost. He was losing the fight by each passing second, the hard-cover book continued to approach his balls.

"Co on Alexander. You can do better than that, I know you can." Nana encouraged him, but at the sa ti, Alex felt like she was mocking him.

-Switch.

Alex unintentionally switched with Lex. As soon as they switched, there was no force opposing that of Nana's; so the book shot forward with the speed of a rifle bullet, at Lex's balls.

-Vnn.

-Thwack!

Right before the book could touch Lex it disappeared and appeared right in front of Nana, with the sa speed it approached Lex with. She caught the book in her hand and looked at Lex.

There was confusion written all over her face. "What just happened?" She looked at the book in her hand then looked at Lex again.

'What did this kid do?' Nana thought to herself.

['Alex, why did you switch with Lex? He can't use telekinesis yet.'] Al asked.

['I didn't, it happened on its own.'] He said.

['Seems like panic is what triggers Lex. The first ti too, when you panicked after encountering those bandits, you switched with Lex. Now this confirms that panic is what triggers Lex.'] Xander pointed out.

['What about , what do you think my trigger is?'] Al wondered.

['I hope we never find out.'] Alex prayed.

['Uh, guys. She keeps on staring at , what do I do?'] Lex asked timidly.

Nana had released Lex from her restraint and now he was free to move, but Lex couldn't move. He was so shy that he stood there frozen, blushing at Nana.

"Alexander, what did you do?" Nana asked again.

"I-I Nothing." Lex sheepishly uttered and bent his head.

['What do I do?'] He asked again.

['Just stop looking at her and leave the library while she's still in her state of confusion. This woman is crazy.'] Al advised.

['But how do I stop looking at her? She's looking at too.']

['Does being shy make you lose all the smart that you have. You stop looking at her by not looking at her, divert your eyes away.'] Alex ntioned.

"I'm sorry. I'm not good enough." Lex blushed harder as a tear started to form in his eyes.

['I swear, with how I've been conversing with you in my head, I forgot how low your self-esteem is.'] Alex sounded crestfallen.

"Huh? What are you apologizing for?" Nana frowned.

She couldn't read or understand Lex. Just earlier today, Alex was a miser, and later on, he beca a spendthrift. Now he's acting like a timid girl that was just seen in her underwear.

'Is he about to cry? Did I take this too far or is he just that good at acting? I can't get a proper read on this guy.' Nana pondered.

['Lex, do as I say. Raise your hands slowly and cover your eyes with them, that way you don't need to look at her. Then turn away slowly and take a step. After taking the first step, you take a deep calming breath then take two steps.']

Lex raised his hands and used them to block his sight. Now he could only see what was below him and above. He turned around slowly and took a step forward.

'What sort of ga is this kid playing?' The expression on Nana's face had a mixture of confusion and interest in it.

Lex took a deep breath and took two steps forward.

'Does he think he can escape if he acts weird?'

"Nice try kid, before you couldn't leave because the lesson was just getting started. Now you can't leave because I have a huge interest in you."

Lex froze again.

"I'm sorry." He said sheepishly.

"Sorry for what?" Nana asked as she used her telekinesis to make the book she caught, levitate once again.

"I'm sorry." He said in a high pitched tone this ti.

Nana cocked her head at him, staring at his back. 'Is he trying to avoid my question?'

"Tell how you did what you did, or else I will have to force it out of you."

'I I I can't say. I'm sorry."

"Enough with the apologies. I don't want to hear you apologize. What I want to hear is how you suddenly change the course of the book. What you did wasn't sothing that can be done with telekinesis. So now, tell , or I will force out of you."

The first two books that had hit Alex when he was still in control, levitated and lined up again.

"I'm sorry." Lex squatted down and folded himself. He placed his head on his knee and his hands over his head.

['Oh, f*ck .'] Alex whispered.

['Lex you switch with Alex. And Alex, you should be patient with Lex. He has a hard ti fitting in a new environnt, especially when there's soone he has never spoken to, there. He is extrely shy at tis.']

"If you utter one more, 'I'm sorry,' I would make sure that you end up in a sorry state. Now tell what I want to know." Nana was starting to get frustrated now.

"I'm sorry," Lex whispered unintentionally.

"You stinking brat." Nana snapped.

Suddenly her hair started to rise and hundreds of books of different colors and covers started flying towards her.

Lex was too busy trying to get himself that he didn't notice anything.

['Lex, switch with Alex.'] Xander repeated.

"Hmm." He agreed.

Before Lex had the chance to switched, he started to feel the temperature of the room drop. He got up and turned his head to look behind.

"Ahh," Lex exclaid in shock.

There were hundreds of books levitating around Nana. Lex removed his spear from his ring on instinct.

['What are you doing Lex, switch with now!'] Alex demanded.

['No, with that amount Lex is perfect for situations like this. If you switch with him will you be able to dodge or counter those? Most especially if she restrains you. Lex can manipulate space, this sort of problem is sothing he can handle better than you can.'] Xander opposed the idea of Alex and Lex switching again.

It was at this mont that Alex rembered sothing. Although his alters have been listening to him and switching whenever he felt like, they can also refuse his request.

He wasn't the master of his body when they took control, and if they so please, they can choose to ignore him when they are in control. And there would be nothing that he can do about it. Unconsciously he had opened up to them and started to coexist, little by little.

But while he had been doing that, he hadn't given them the freedom that they actually wanted. He had always told them what to do when he needed them to. And he only switched with them when he needed their help, then after that, they switchback.

Now that Alex just experienced a tinge of what his alters feel when he denied their suggestion for coexisting, he started to get conflicted.

He was the real owner of his body and he didn't want to share with anyone. If he switched with one of them one day, and they decided not to switch back with him, what would he be able to do?

Alex realized that he had been taking his ntal illness lightly.

"I will teach you not to disrespect your elders' kid." Nana stretched her hand out and 60 books shot at Lex with the speed of a bullet, forming a huge square-shaped formation.

Lex stood at attention, concentrating on the books that were shot at him.

-Vnn!!

Lex opened a hole in space and so of the books in the formation of books that was shot at him, vanished. He created an opportunity for himself to safely dodge the books. Lex stepped to the side and the books passed by him at high speed and crashed into the walls of the library.

The books had been planted in the wall. That was how strong the force that ca with it, was.

['Is this crazy woman trying to kill us!?'] Al exclaid.

The books that Lex sent through the hole in space, appeared in front of Nana. She raised her palm and they made an abrupt stop.

-Voom!

A light breeze blew her face.

'He did it again. What is this kid?' Nana wondered.

She raised her index and 120 books lined up in front of her. When she dropped her hand the books shot at Lex, with a speed faster than the previous one.

Lex swallowed the saliva in his mouth and looked over at the exit of the library. As soon as he did, Nana appeared by the door.

"Don't think of leaving here yet, we are just getting started, darling." An evil smile crawled its way up her lips.

Lex quickly ran for cover behind one of the multitude of shelves in the library.

-Boom!!

-Vnn!!

He sent so of the books through spatial-holes. Just the ones that obstructed his way.

The books crashed into shelves and broke through them.

['This crazy woman doesn't give a damn about the books in this library.'] Al stated.

"If you think that using the books here as a shield will protect you, then you are wrong." The books from the shelves that were destroyed by Nana's attack, started to levitate.

['Shit, from the frying pan to the fire!!'] Alex cursed.
