Above the Law Star Core, digital symbols flickered and reassembled.
Then...
Nothing changed in front.
"As expected, it doesn’t work."
Qin Jin wasn’t surprised; he had anticipated this, but for the sake of thoroughness, he conducted an experint.
The Law Star Core was created by the spiritual energy tide, involving the natural laws of the Cosmic Star Sea. Now situated in the Great Wilderness, it was akin to using a sword from a previous dynasty to cut current officials—of course, it wouldn’t work.
"However, just because it doesn’t work now doesn’t an it won’t in the future."
Qin Jin had a plan in mind.
The world itself naturally holds spiritual essence.
This was a conclusion he arrived at after communicating with the Celestial Cyan Princess and experiencing it firsthand.
The world outside the Great Wilderness responds to anything that can replenish it, and Qin Jin, who can travel between two worlds, has ample conditions to et such needs.
He put away the Law Star Core and began cultivating directly within the Sacrificial Spirit Hall.
Day by day, continuously changing, the spiritual power within the Sacrificial Spirit Hall beca increasingly abundant. Although it was far from places like the Immortal Dynasty Ancient Land, it was entirely sufficient for regular cultivation.
...
Ti progressed.
The clearing task continued.
Today, at noon, Qin Jin returned to the Starship. Under Candle Kite’s control, the Starship ascended into the sky, temporarily leaving the numbered planet.
Personnel rushed from the academy to the Weiyang Star System to bring back the [Candle Spirit] ahead of ti.
This planet was in the exploration and clearing stage. Apart from the Pioneer Corps and mission specialists, others were not allowed entry—this was a necessary rule. Therefore... Qin Jin chose to leave the planet to make contact with them.
Near the Space Port, Qin Jin saw a dium-sized Starship with the [Martial Abyss] insignia. Once away from the port area, the two Starships sailed parallel, completed the docking process in the Star Sea, and constructed a connecting passage.
The Xingzhou Ship entered silent mode. Qin Jin walked ahead, with Candle Kite floating beside him as they entered the Academy Starship.
At the end of the passage.
Several figures had long been waiting in place. Qin Jin’s gaze swept across and landed on one of the figures.
It was...
Zhong Yi.
In previous etings, Zhong Yi was always in casual attire, but this ti she wore a white research suit, looking distinctly elegant.
Noticing Qin Jin’s gaze, she smiled slightly and spoke: "Let introduce everyone."
She extended her hand towards Qin Jin: "This is Qin Jin, the Martial Pride of our Martial Abyss."
"I’ve heard a lot about you."
Her voice fell, and a middle-aged man at the center of the welcoming crowd seriously spoke.
"This is Dr. Chen."
Zhong Yi pointed to the speaking man and continued to introduce: "Qin Jin, Dr. Chen is one of the top experts at the Wuyuan Research Institute. Upon hearing the information Candle Kite sent back, he volunteered to establish a project team for comprehensive research and developnt on the strange lifeform you captured."
Qin Jin nodded slightly in acknowledgnt.
After a round of introductions.
Dr. Chen eagerly said, "Qin Jin student, can we see the little fellow now?"
"Of course."
Qin Jin nodded and, with a thought, took out the [Candle Spirit].
The Candle Spirit had the restrictions set by Qin Jin. Encircled by a cage, it was prevented from using its ans to gather power, making it appear a bit dispirited. The candle fla above its head flickered faintly, looking sowhat dim.
At the mont it was taken out.
Both Dr. Chen and the research staff beside him turned their attention to it.
"It can induce an extrely special frequency power, causing individuals to fall into a coma and enter a dream, constructing a dream space."
"When conducting research on it, proper preparations should be made."
Though Qin Jin trusted that Wuyuan’s research team was reliable, he still cautiously ntioned this point.
Upon hearing this, Dr. Chen nodded solemnly, appearing to take Qin Jin’s words very seriously. After waving his hand, a research staff mber left and shortly returned, pushing sothing.
It was a creation about half a ter long, resembling a giant capsule, with an interior that looked like a Life Pod. This was not purely a technological creation, as Qin Jin clearly sensed the presence of [Spiritual Energy].
Clearly.
The academy had made preparations.
After the handover, once the Candle Spirit was placed into the capsule, Dr. Chen exhaled deeply, a smile appearing on his face: "Qin Jin student, a luncheon is prepared aboard the Starship. Join us, after which you can return to the planet, and we will return to the academy."
"Sure."
In response, Dr. Chen’s smile grew even broader: "We must make the most of every mont, first to do so preliminary preparation work."
"Xiaozhong."
He looked at Zhong Yi: "You’re old acquaintances, so I’ll leave Qin Jin student to you to host for now. It’s an opportunity for you to catch up."
Having said this, he nodded towards Qin Jin and, with great excitent, led other research staff away.
"Please don’t mind."
Seeing the few people leave, Zhong Yi led Qin Jin to the rest area and said: "Dr. Chen is just like that—never wanting to delay when faced with sothing of interest. I’ve worked under him before, so I understand."
Qin Jin nodded slightly.
He could understand the sentint well; as he said, he too wanted to dedicate every mont to cultivation without any slack.
Looking at Zhong Yi, Qin Jin asked: "Senior Sister Zhong, why did you co along this ti?"
"Thanks to you, of course."
Zhong Yi’s tone was light: "You’re willing to hand over strange lifeforms like this to the academy without asking for any conditions, but to be fair, the academy considers it a partnership. Since it’s a partnership, your side naturally needs a participant to understand the current situation."
