Chapter 28: Chapter 28: Heart Abyss

After leaving the main road, there was no trace of people around.

The world echoed with the sound of thunder, and Qin Jin’s solitary figure seed sowhat lonely.

However, he found a familiar feeling.

Traveling through this unknown wilderness was quite similar to his explorations in the Great Wilderness.

Over ti, he had gotten used to this state.

After entering the uninhabited area, Qin Jin sped up and moved forward at full speed.

As he was advancing.

Suddenly, Qin Jin’s eyes narrowed slightly, but his body did not slow down. His right leg landed with a strong sideways push to dodge to the left.

At the sa ti as his body moved aside.

A streak of lightning cut through the sky, striking fiercely at his original position.

Qin Jin looked ahead.

About twenty ters ahead, in mid-air, there was a sphere suspended.

It was entirely ford by lightning, and as Qin Jin gazed at it, the lightning surged, and more lightning began to accumulate.

"No sign of life, not like an Extraordinary Creature."

"It looks more like a pure Energy Construct."

As the thought flashed through his mind, Qin Jin took action.

Using Spiritual Perception as an aid, Life Energy surged, and Qin Jin’s speed increased dramatically, closing the twenty ters in an instant.

The lightning struck again.

Qin Jin neither dodged nor avoided, clenching his right hand into a fist, with Life Energy mobilized, and activated his Combat Technique!

Thunder Prohibition True Understanding!

A faint light appeared above his right fist, and as he punched out, the incoming lightning was no match and was dispersed by the Life Energy directly. Qin Jin pressed forward, and in the next mont, he smashed his fist onto the lightning sphere.

Boom!

In the explosion of Life Energy, the lightning sphere burst open and dissipated.

"It really was an Energy Construct."

Qin Jin looked at the place where the lightning sphere had disappeared: "It seems to be born from the environnt, lacking consciousness, attacking all creatures that co near, not even avoiding."

"The Star Sea is vast and indeed full of unknowns."

Scanning the surroundings with his eyes, Qin Jin maintained a steady deanor and continued toward his destination.

Just after he left.

Two figures appeared in that spot.

A man and a woman.

The man was tall, with obvious chanical modifications on his body, his left arm replaced by a chanical arm, his pupils black as ink, observing everything there, he slowly spoke.

"Being able to shatter the Thunder Elent with one hit, unlikely to be a newcor to the Newborn Realm."

"At such an age, truly deserving of the title of genius."

"Duoduo, record it."

"His combat style is quite fierce, choosing direct confrontation when facing the enemy."

"Excellent alertness, excellent reaction speed."

"Like a fish in water in an unknown environnt, showing no discomfort, good ntal resilience."

Behind him, another woman was dressed in a tight-fitting combat suit, holding the most primitive paper and pen, earnestly writing with a rustling sound.

The man turned around and looked in the direction they ca.

"He ca all the way here without any hesitation, full of courage."

"A good seed for the Martial Arts Family."

"Let’s go, keep following him."

"There is a possibility of encountering unplanned Extraordinary Creatures in the wilderness, we need to ensure his safety."

With that, the man turned around.

Just as he was about to set off again, his steps suddenly paused.

"What’s wrong?"

The woman called Duoduo looked up from her recording as she put away the paper and pen, asking aloud.

Then.

She realized the reason for the man’s pause.

Looking ahead, about tens of ters away, a figure in a black Martial Arts Uniform appeared at so point, standing there quietly watching them.

It was Qin Jin!

"Add two more lines then."

The man looked at Qin Jin, his voice a bit deeper, sighed: "Excellent perception ability, excellent stealth ability."

He stated, looking at Qin Jin, and spoke loudly.

"When did you realize we were here?"

"After leaving Xinyang District."

Qin Jin’s response echoed.

The training in the Great Wilderness had long cultivated his habit of constantly sensing the surroundings.

As his Spiritual Power continually grew, aided by Wish Power, upon leaving Xinyang District, he keenly sensed soone secretly watching him.

At that ti, not having confird their identity, he didn’t expose them.

But now, he had guessed their origin.

The two walked to a spot not far in front of Qin Jin.

Qin Jin swept his gaze: "How should I address the two of you?"

"Chu Yan."

The man pointed to himself, then to the woman: "Zhang Duoduo."

After introducing themselves, he walked past Qin Jin: "Co with us."

"I don’t need to go to the marked location on the map?"

"From the mont you discovered us, you no longer need to."

Chu Yan shook his head, leading in front, calmly said: "This is just a small test for you, to gain so understanding."

"To be precise, this is not even a test of your strength, but a test of your courage."

"Courage?"

"Exactly."

Chu Yan’s voice was deep: "To be eligible to receive an invitation from the boss are all young geniuses on this Mining Star."

"Endowed with good talent, with the boss’s help, anyone will have a qualitative leap."

"Compared to strength, the boss cares more about your willpower, cares about your courage. Only a Martial Arts Family with sufficient courage can soar in adversity and go further."

The three walked in the wilderness.

Qin Jin’s inquiry sounded.

"The boss you speak of, is he the Spiritualist senior?"

"Of course."

Receiving an answer, Qin Jin continued to ask: "What exactly is he preparing us for, gathering this group of people?"

"I’m sorry, I don’t know. We just follow the boss’s instructions."

"How many people have received the invitation?"

"There are a total of one hundred twenty-seven people."

"However, many will be eliminated today."

In the conversation.

Qin Jin got the information he wanted to know and stopped asking questions.

Following Chu Yan, the three headed in another direction.

Along the way, they encountered several Energy Constructs referred to as "Thunder Elents."

They varied in size, and their energy intensity differed as well.

But as Chu Yan said, his test was over, and Qin Jin didn’t even need to make a move; Chu Yan and Zhang Duoduo took care of these natural obstacles one by one.

Continuing forward.

In Qin Jin’s estimation, the straight-line distance from here to Xinyang District was about five kiloters.

After climbing a hill, Zhang Duoduo, who had been silent, beca more lively and cheerfully said: "We’re here."

Qin Jin looked ahead.

In his sight, there was a light blue barrier similar to the one in Xinyang District, spreading downward from the top, creating a safe zone.

Inside, various figures were busy.

They had temporarily established a base in the harsh environnt of the wilderness.

The most striking was the source of the barrier.

It was a chanical creation over two hundred ters tall, full of a sense of technology, embodying the essence of Federation technology.

It stood at the center of the base, motionless, with so enigmatic symbols engraved at the top, forming patterns, emitting light, providing illumination for the base.

The mont Qin Jin saw this chanical creation, he imdiately knew what it was.

Because this chanical creation had limbs and a head, in the shape of a gigantic human - it was clearly a humanoid cha!

Beside him.

Chu Yan followed Qin Jin’s gaze, also looking towards the center of the base.

He began to introduce: "This is our boss’s primary combat cha."

"Its na..."
