Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Golden Crow

During this period, he chose to focus so of his energy on this mining ch, exactly for this reason.

Compared to him, who has yet to step into the Newborn Realm, the Deep Driller, though a mining-type cha, is equipped with so combat modules, which are sufficient to allow him to unleash greater combat power to protect himself.

"Everything is ready."

"It’s ti to explore this unknown world."

Qin Jin let out a long breath, calming his sowhat excited mood.

He reached out his hand and gently touched the Bronze Gate icon on the panel.

In the next instant!

In Qin Jin’s sight, the palm-sized Bronze Gate icon rapidly expanded, as if truly descending upon the world, the Bronze Gate opened, and the light emitting from it enveloped the Deep Driller.

Silently.

The humanoid mining ch in the warehouse disappeared without a trace.

...

After establishing a ntal connection, Qin Jin shared the vision with the Deep Driller; in the enveloping light, darkness lasted for about a few seconds before light reappeared before him.

Looking around, towering trees hundreds of ters tall stood all around.

"This is the place I left last ti."

"The last ti I tried, it took

about one and a half seconds to leave this world."

Qin Jin muttered to himself.

This was not his first ti here.

After discovering the second function of the Profession panel, he chose to try it for the first ti.

However, that attempt was incredibly swift; after confirming that the Bronze Gate connected to another world, he strategically retreated, opting to modify the Deep Driller for better security before formally exploring this unknown world.

Under Qin Jin’s control, the optical camouflage module of the Deep Driller activated, blending into the surrounding environnt.

He quickly moved forward, reaching an open area, and without the giant trees blocking, he looked up at the sky.

As far as the eye could see, there were three suns in the sky!

"The last ti I entered, there were only two suns in the sky."

The thought flashed through his mind.

In the sky, three suns were aligned, but at this mont, one sun accelerated rapidly, rushing toward the west.

With the help of the cha, Qin Jin’s vision was enhanced, allowing him to clearly see that as the sun raced across, amidst the sun’s center, a huge silhouette faintly appeared!

The figure was indistinct, like a shadow in the sun, but vaguely, it could be seen to have wings, resembling a Divine Bird, and having three legs, incredibly splendid.

"Could this be...?"

"The Three-legged Golden Crow?!"

He recalled the mythical legends from his previous life.

"Have I entered a mythical world?"

The sun’s speed was incredibly fast, seemingly unconcerned with everything, in a few breaths, it had already traversed far into the distance and disappeared.

Qin Jin’s gaze fell on the two remaining suns in the sky.

These two suns seed normal, following the regular cycle of rising during the day and setting at night.

Interestingly, although there were naturally two suns, the temperature was unaffected, maintaining a relatively stable state.

Retracting his gaze, Qin Jin moved quickly, exploring the surroundings.

The Deep Driller’s scanning module went into action, collecting information about the surroundings for Qin Jin to review.

"So far, the environnt is similar to those of life planets under the Federation."

"The basic living conditions in this area are not too harsh."

"However, with mythical creatures like the Three-legged Golden Crow appearing, this world must harbor even more secrets."

The vast Starfire Federation’s exploration lasts ages, Qin Jin’s parents themselves were mbers of an exploration team, thus exploring this unknown world was sowhat akin to exploring the unknown planets in the Star Sea.

Along the way, in the cockpit, Qin Jin paused.

The Deep Driller ca to a stop.

He looked ahead, about a few dozen ters away, noticing a weeping willow, about the height of several people, swaying in the breeze.

The tree trunk was fiery red; notably, its branches bore no willow leaves but strands of leaf-like fla swaying with the wind, as if growing from the tree, creating a wondrous sight.

Wood births fire!

Amidst the flickering flas, a crimson fruit glowed faintly, enticingly.

"Is this... a Celestial and Earthly Treasure? An Extraordinary Treasure?"

The thought flashed, and a soft light erged from the eyes of the Deep Driller, focusing on the fruit; the scanning module activated, analyzing its effects.

[Unnad Fruit]

[Scan Results]: Contains abundant peculiar energy.

His gaze swept, Qin Jin’s eyes brightened, again looking at the Fire Willow, and montarily, information surfaced.

[Unnad Extraordinary Treasure]

[Scan Results]: A peculiar plant grown under the influence of unknown energy, containing rich Fire Attribute energy, capable of bearing special fruits.

"Installing the scanning module on the Deep Driller was the right decision."

"Even though it’s just the most basic version, it’s already sufficient for

right now."

"Within the Federation, there are also similar Extraordinary Treasures with significant value, discovering this fruit on this journey is already a bountiful harvest."

Qin Jin’s gaze aid forward: "This world is shrouded in mystery, clearly a vast treasure trove."

He carefully maneuvered the Deep Driller to pick the Treasure Fruit and stored it in the cha’s storage space.

At the mont the fruit was picked.

A piercing screech instantly echoed from afar.

The sound was harsh, filled with intense fury.

"A living being?"

"The mont I picked the fruit, it reacted. Is it like the guardians of Extraordinary Treasures in novels?"

"Is this not an ownerless item?"

The thought brushed through, Qin Jin contemplated briefly, then advanced instead of retreating, the Deep Driller’s speed burst, rapidly approaching the source of the sound.

Having decided to explore, so dangers will inevitably need to be faced.

Continual avoidance is not the right choice; at the very least, one should assess the situation.

The cha raced forward, approaching quickly; more sounds entered his ears.

Screams of battle, cries of mortification, snarls...

The next mont.

Everything ca into view for Qin Jin.

Before him was a raging enormous Fire Python.

Its scales were fla-colored, with two Exotic Bones protruding from the scales on its back, like unford wings; its serpent body was robust, constantly swaying, spewing scorching flas from its mouth.

And its adversary was a group of humans.

Looking ahead, there were about thirty people, appearing to be normal humans, mostly the elderly, won, and children, clothed in garnts made of animal skins, quite primitive.

The won sheltered the young children behind, while around a dozen middle-aged and elderly with gray-streaked temples stood in front, wielding bone weapons, stained with blood, communicating in a language Qin Jin couldn’t understand, fiercely battling the Fire Python.

Over twenty corpses already lay on the ground.

"Extraordinary Creatures and humans."

"I need to join the fight, save them."

In an instant, Qin Jin made the decision.

He knew nothing of this place; establishing communication with the native humans to gather intelligence would undoubtedly expedite understanding of this world.

Moreover...

Since this mythical world contained Extraordinary Power, as indicated by the Fire Python seemingly sensing when the fruit was picked, he certainly would leave no room for troubles.

The mont he made the decision, the Deep Driller had already charged out.

A nearly ten-ter-tall humanoid cha, compared to ordinary humans, could be considered a colossal being.

The mont he appeared, he drew attention.

At the battlefield’s rear, a few won were initially shielding the children, but upon seeing the Deep Driller, shock spread across their faces, yet, exchanging a glance, their eyes turned determined, and they even proactively blocked its way.

Language barriers prevented Qin Jin from attempting communication at that mont; he leapt, his Energy Engine erupting, directly vaulting over several people, approaching the battlefield’s center.

At that mont.

The Fire Python in battle, seemingly sensing sothing, simultaneously issued a piercing screech, its body raging as it appeared to spring forward, eyeing Qin Jin, abandoning its other opponents, and charging fiercely.

In an instant, they neared each other, the python’s mouth gaped open, and searing flas rushed forward.
