Chapter 802: Chapter 801: You Made the Wrong Choice

Sui Yuan nodded like a chick pecking at grains of rice.

“Of course, there are. However, I’m still out of your league.”

After she finished speaking, she lifted her head, her eyes shimring as she blinked lightly, with a slightly proud tone, “So Mianmian, did you co to find right after getting off the program?”

Sui Yuan had followed the show from start to finish and obviously knew all about Lu Mian’s slick moves and brilliant responses.

Mianmian was so eager to leave the program; she must have wanted to see her before the dormitory closed, right?

Was it to tell her that she had won the “Brain Champion” trophy?

Or did she want to be praised by her?

Lu Mian cleared her throat unnaturally, “Let’s head back.”

“Oh,” Sui Yuan pursed her lips, smiling uncontrollably.

Mianmian also had her childish side, huh.

“Mianmian, you were super aweso on the show! You should shine that brightly all the ti!”

She gave a thumbs up, praising while cheerfully running off.

Lu Mian raised her eyebrows slightly, watching Sui Yuan enter the dormitory building, and couldn’t help but chuckle.

Little Baldy!

She’s quite good at flattering people, isn’t she?

Feeling exceptionally good, Lu Mian left. She hadn’t gone far when her steps suddenly halted, and the atmosphere around her turned cold.

Soone…

Her eyes sharply captured the surroundings, especially the direction of the greenery by the wall.

The poorly lit greenbelt by the wall was concealing soone’s presence.

She didn’t care whether it was dark or she was alone, she walked confidently towards the row of plants. She turned on the flashlight on her phone and scanned the area, but found no trace of anyone.

Could she have been mistaken?

——

On Monday, Sui Yuan arrived in class as usual.

The math class representative ca over to collect the test papers.

“Sure, I’ll give them to you right away.”

Sui Yuan was taking things out of her backpack when her gaze inadvertently swept over a stack of test papers in the hands of the math class representative. The math problem on the test paper at the very bottom was completely exposed.

Sui Yuan paused for a mont; that solution thod…

“Can I look at that test paper?” Sui Yuan pointed at the last one.

The class representative glanced at it, “You want to see that last problem, right? I’ve collected so many papers, but nobody solved it, only Jiang Yingyue did.”

“Yingyue’s paper?”

“Yeah. She really has a solid foundation to be able to solve such a difficult problem.”

Sui Yuan glanced at Jiang Yingyue’s seat, who probably went to the restroom since she wasn’t there. Sui Yuan lowered her eyes, lost in thought.

“Sui Yuan, are you still looking?” the class representative asked eagerly.

“No need,” Sui Yuan waved her hand and handed over her own math test paper.

The class representative turned it over and was surprised, “Sui Yuan, you solved it, too! Your thod seems to be the sa as Jiang Yingyue’s, wow.”

Sui Yuan said nothing.

The class representative shook her head, marveling, “As expected of the powerhouse competing with Jiang Yingyue for first place! Sui Yuan, did Lu the God secretly tutor you?”

“No, that’s not it.”

Sui Yuan knew very well that this problem was actually a variation from a college exam paper set by Professor Geng Yuxiang.

And her set of college exam papers had disappeared without a trace.

Sui Yuan, seeing through but not saying through, sat down quietly.

Soon, Jiang Yingyue appeared in the classroom, still laughing and chatting with a few classmates.

As she approached her seat, she glanced at Sui Yuan, her tone sharp and strange.

“So students shouldn’t think that just because they got first place, they can do whatever they want, right?” Jiang Yingyue asked her companions sarcastically, “How many points should be deducted for not wearing the school uniform?”

“Two points per person.”

Sui Yuan’s face flushed red, and she lowered her head to look at her out-of-place clothes.

Jiang Yingyue scoffed, “I’ve been the top student for so long without ever breaking the rules. So people are just getting too full of themselves.”

Sui Yuan felt sowhat ashad and softly explained, “It wasn’t on purpose, my uniform was lost.”

“Are you saying soone stole your uniform?” Jiang Yingyue found it amusing, “Why would anyone steal your uniform? You can’t even co up with a decent lie.”

“No, I didn’t say it was stolen…”

“Then what do you an? How co only yours is lost and no one else’s is?”

Jiang Yingyue’s tone was as nasty as saying “Why would the pervert target you and not others?”

Sui Yuan was at a loss for words, shaking her head without saying anything further.

She had washed her uniform over the weekend and hung it out on the balcony, but on Sunday evening when she went to collect her clothes, it was nowhere to be found.

She searched the entire dormitory, but it was missing.

She asked her roommates, and they hadn’t taken it by mistake either.

Unfortunately for her, all her roommates were from other classes, so no one could vouch for her.

“It’s just a uniform, the school is more lenient with seniors, there were even others from the class next door who didn’t wear it, and nothing happened to them!” soone spoke up in Sui Yuan’s defense.

Jiang Yingyue crossed her arms, “Just because nothing happened to others doesn’t an she won’t cause trouble, what if she costs our class points?”

“It’s not like she did it on purpose…”

“Yeah, when Sui Yuan shared her notebook with everyone, she was contributing to the class too. Jiang Yingyue, why didn’t you say anything then?”

Jiang Yingyue stiffened her neck, “Anyway, I didn’t use her notes! I don’t need her charity!”

By this ti, it was supposed to be morning reading, but instead it had turned into a quarrel.

Soon, the class advisor Wan Lin arrived in the classroom.

“What’s going on? Isn’t it ti to start morning reading?”

“Teacher, Sui Yuan is not wearing her uniform!”

As Wan Lin walked in, she looked towards Sui Yuan, who stood out in her white sweater against the rest of the class. She had her head buried low, looking very ashad.

After learning about the lost uniform, instead of dwelling on the potential point deduction for the class, Wan Lin said, “Sui Yuan, co see after class so we can record this and see if we can find your uniform.”

Sui Yuan stood up, “Thank you, teacher.”

“Sit down and focus on your studies. Let’s start the morning reading, everyone.”

The classroom soon filled with the sound of students reciting texts.

Jiang Yingyue, annoyed, rolled her eyes and slamd her textbook onto the desk, murmuring her reading.

After sitting down, Sui Yuan gently and indifferently addressed the back of Jiang Yingyue.

“You made the wrong choice.”

Sui Yuan’s voice wasn’t loud, it was even smaller amidst a group of reading voices.

But she knew Jiang Yingyue must have heard.

“You shouldn’t have taken that set of test papers, you should have chosen the notebook beside the test papers, that’s the real essence.”

The content in the notebook was Mianmian’s devilish curriculum.

It was the essence of the notes that helped over ninety-five percent of the grade improve.

Sui Yuan had seen through Jiang Yingyue’s actions.

Jiang Yingyue’s back stiffened for a mont, she didn’t turn around, but she secretly vowed to herself that she would never look at Lu Mian’s course notes!

She could still be the first in class, the top scorer in the college entrance examination, with her own abilities!

——

After lunch, Sui Yuan returned to her dormitory.

On the way, she passed by the water room and found her kettle among a pile of others.

The mont she picked it up, it didn’t feel right.

As soon as she lifted it, the bottom broke uncontrollably, and the already fractured thermos liner shattered, spilling pieces all over the floor.

Sui Yuan’s brow furrowed, why did this happen again?

This was already the third ti!
