When the topic of voice acting ca up, Sui Yuan lowered her head and let out a soft chuckle.
Shu Shu was puzzled, "Yuanyuan, what are you laughing at? Did I say sothing wrong?"
She mulled over her words but couldn’t find anything remotely funny.
Lu Mian remained silent, her head lowered as she organized the script.
When Shu Shu was still confused, Sui Yuan said mysteriously, "You’ll find out during the rehearsal this afternoon. Trust , Mianmian is amazing."
"Haha, of course, I know she’s amazing. Otherwise, why would everyone be so eager for her to co back?" Shu Shu replied, then added, "Oh, Mianmian, when you head to the classroom this afternoon, can you take a look at a physics problem for ? We’ve been stuck on it forever, and everyone thinks only you can solve it now!"
Without even lifting her head, Lu Mian responded nonchalantly, "What problem? Tell about it."
"You want to hear it now?" Shu Shu asked before quickly pulling out a pen and jotting the problem down on paper.
As Shu Shu was writing, Lu Mian had already started analyzing the problem. By the ti Shu Shu finished writing, Lu Mian had the answer ready.
"Here’s how this problem is solved." Lu Mian took the pen out of Shu Shu’s hand and effortlessly wrote down the solution and steps on the paper.
Shu Shu was stunned. This problem had been assigned as howork by their professor, and no one had been able to solve it after lengthy discussions. Yet, Lu Mian had heard the problem and imdiately deduced the answer, not even needing draft calculations. She was just too incredible.
How could the Elite Class ignore a gem like her and even ostracize her instead?
The students and professors in the physics departnt couldn’t express how much they longed for Lu Mian to return to class.
Shu Shu, still in shock, put away the physics problem’s solution.
She thought that Lu Mian was simply too modest. With her abilities, in any domain, she could easily beco a legendary figure in the school. How could the Elite Class have the audacity to nitpick her?
For a mont, Shu Shu felt the urge to docunt Lu Mian’s life and show those oblivious people what a real genius truly looked like—humble and profound!

anwhile, Ge Yu was serving Lu Yutian her al and enthusiastically chatting, "Yutian, what are you looking at? The CTF tournant?"
He noticed that Lu Yutian was holding her phone, which displayed information about the CTF finals.
"Who’d have thought that you, a girl, would actually be interested in this competition?"
The boys in the Elite Class were heavily invested in the tournant since it aligned with their interests. Shadow Hunting Team’s captain Sniper was an eternal idol in their hearts.
Lu Yutian purposely left the phone screen on Yun Sang’s profile and casually smiled as she looked up, "I’m just checking my brother’s match schedule."
"Your brother? Your brother’s part of the Shadow Hunting Team?"
"Yeah, my brother is Sniper. He’s going to compete in a few hours."
Lu Yutian knew how to hit the boys’ excitent nerve perfectly.
Sure enough, Ge Yu, the class leader, and two other boys imdiately perked up.
"Yutian, your brother is S God?! Really?"
Lu Yutian opened her photo gallery and flipped to a picture of her with Yun Sang, taken who knows when. "What’s there to fake? He’s my cousin, and I’m his only sister."
The boys exploded.
"Yutian, can you ask S God for an autograph for ? I’m such a huge fan!"
"Is there a chance he’ll co to the school to pick you up? I really want a glimpse of the great god!"
"This ti Yun God is representing the only dostic team in the finals. He’ll probably bring back an award, right? Yutian, could you secretly snap a picture of Yun God with the trophy or dal so we can see it?"
The boys grew more and more excited, and the way they looked at Lu Yutian beca increasingly reverent.
Lu Yutian basked in the flattering attention, her face glowing as she tucked her phone away. "I’ll ask my brother. If he has ti, I’ll let him et you guys."
She agreed quickly, making decisions on Yun Sang’s behalf. In her mind, Yun Sang wouldn’t possibly refuse such a trivial request as her brother.
The boys imdiately started addressing her with exaggerated fondness and beca even more attentive.

At that mont, Lu Mian had just helped Shu Shu solve the physics problem when her phone rang. The caller ID displayed Yun God. She quickly calculated the ti difference—it should still be deep night in Las Vegas.
Lu Mian answered the call while walking toward the window.
Shu Shu asked Sui Yuan, "Who is Yun God? How co Mianmian addresses him as ’God’?"
"He’s Mianmian’s godbrother. If you follow the CTF tournant, you should be pretty familiar with him."
Shu Shu didn’t follow such things and gave a sheepish smile, "He must be very impressive, but I don’t pay attention to that stuff. I only care if my brother is eating well today and if any opportunistic people are stealing his resources."
"Your brother’s a celebrity?"
"It’s Li Xinghan!" Shu Shu announced brightly, seeing Sui Yuan’s confused expression. She imdiately beca chatty, "My brother is great at acting and singing. Yuanyuan, go follow him right now—you’re definitely going to fall in love with him!"
Like every passionate fangirl, Shu Shu was enthusiastically pitching her idol.
Sui Yuan nodded faintly. That na vaguely felt familiar, and after racking her brain for a while, she rembered—Zero once ntioned that at the music festival, many people wanted to collaborate with Mi Lu, including the actor-singer Li Xinghan.
But all of them were rcilessly turned down by Lu Mian.
"Yuanyuan, my brother just released a new song. It’s a particularly aningful anti-war song which he thoughtfully invited a master composer for. You absolutely have to listen to it—you’ll be blown away."
"Alright, I’ll listen to it when I get back." Sui Yuan murmured, instinctively thinking of Lu Mian upon hearing the term master composer. "Was it Mianmian?"
"What do you an Mianmian?"
Sui Yuan shook her head. She figured she’d find out after listening.
"Yuanyuan, you’ve probably known Mianmian for a long ti, right? Was she always this incredible? Tell more about her—I want to make a docuntary about her and deliver a proverbial slap to the Elite Class’s face!"
Sui Yuan had no objections and readily agreed. After all, it would be great material for her next novel.
"To talk about Mianmian’s glorious adventures, I’d probably have to go on for three days and nights. But during today’s voice acting rehearsal, you should be able to catch a glimpse of it."
Shu Shu nodded eagerly, "Alright, I’m definitely going to record it all with my cara!"
——
After the first class in the afternoon, the Applied Physics Class leader Jian Ze organized everyone for rehearsal in the classroom.
Lu Mian chose a role from the script—an enigmatic dark queen—while the other students happily distributed the remaining roles.
"Honestly, this is my first ti voice acting—I’m so nervous!"
"Don’t worry, it’s everyone’s first ti!"
"Haha, that’s true. If only we had soone to guide us!"
Just as everyone was worrying, Class Leader announced that he had invited a professional to guide them. But since the person hadn’t arrived yet, he suggested they run through the script first.
Everyone was cooperative, reading their assigned lines one by one, until it was Lu Mian’s turn.
Without even holding the script, Lu Mian cleared her throat and delivered, in one take, a high-cold, aloof voice belonging to the dark queen character.
