"You followed us? You… Tell , man, what do you want?" Marcus snapped.
Jason didn’t answer imdiately. Instead, he took a step closer, his voice steady. "I want answers. I already asked you this before. Why do you hate ?"
Marcus rolled his eyes. "We already told you—"
"No," Jason interrupted, his tone sharp. "Not the excuses. The truth."
The smallest of the group, a guy with nervous eyes, shifted in anger as he took out sothing from his pocket. It glinted in silver and looked pretty dangerous, but Jason knew it was not a knife. "Jason, man, just fuck off and let it go, or else we won’t let you—"
"Let it go?" Jason’s laugh was cold. "That’s rich, coming from the people who’ve spent months making my life hell. What, you won’t let go? Oouuhh, I’m so scared! Have you ever let go? Have you ever looked at ?"
Marcus got tired of this shit. He turned to one of his boys, signalling to him, and that guy imdiately began moving. "Should have never followed us, loser. Let’s see how Emily likes you when you look and sll like a turd after we destroy your face and dunk you in the toilet."
"Hahaha!!~~" Marcus and the other Goon began laughing, but at that mont, Jason said so words.
"Emily? Is that why? Do you have so schoolboy crush? Loser? You’re calling a Loser? Interesting. You’re attacking , right? So I am allowed to defend myself."
Before Marcus could respond, Jason moved. In a blur, he sidestepped the Goon’s attempted shove and landed a calculated strike to his knee, sending the larger man sprawling to the ground and sliding away while groaning in pain.
"What the—?!" Marcus shouted, but Jason was already on him, grabbing him and pinning him down.
"Why, Marcus?" Jason hissed, his face inches from the leader’s. "What did I ever do to you?"
The other two goons, one standing and one on the floor froze, unsure whether to intervene. And Jason knew why too. Marcus was the strongest of them. He was soone they knew to be the strongest. So seeing soone like that, how could they be able to do anything?
If Marcus was being overpowered like that, how were they able to overco Jason?
Jason’s voice dropped to a whisper, but it carried the weight of a storm. "Do you even know? Or have you been following orders your whole life, too scared to think for yourself?"
Marcus struggled, but Jason’s grip was unrelenting. The smaller goon finally found his voice. He rushed at Jason, throwing a kick at the man. "Jason, Die!"
Jason turned his head slightly, his gaze locking onto the speaker as he leaned his body to the side, and then landed a punch on the man’s groin, forcing him away and squalling as he landed on the floor, his legs splaying everywhere around him.
"You want to die? By who? Him?" He gestured to Marcus, who was still pinned beneath him. Marcus was struggling to move, but he was failing. He had an incredulous look on his face at that mont. Was Jason always that strong? "Look at him. He’s nothing without you two propping him up."
The first real blow. This was to destabilise the connection between them. After all, packs like these were based on strength. All they did was create a hierarchy based on Strength and then order themselves based on that. They did nothing else and they worked together based on those principles. Jason knew this well, that was why he knew that to destabilise them, he had to tear down their leader.
The goons exchanged nervous glances. Jason smiled—a predator’s smile. This was exactly what he wanted.
The goons must have lived life thinking that their Leader was the strongest, and he must have proved it to them again and again. But this ti, there was sothing wrong. They had gone against soone they could not go against.
This one scene of seeing their boss get beaten down would show them just how little they understood about themselves, and how easy it was to break themselves down.
"See? Even you’re starting to see it. He’s not your leader. He’s just another scared little boy, lashing out because he doesn’t know how else to feel strong," said Jason, turning to the two, and then turning to Marcus, and slapping his face.
And then when in the next mont, Jason began slapping Marcus’ face, the goons got up, trying to stop him but nothing happened. Jason kicked the goons away and then continued humiliating their Leader.
Marcus growled, his face red with anger and blood as more of it rushed to heal up his insides after they got bruised. "You don’t know anything about !"
Jason tilted his head, his expression almost pitying. "Maybe not. But I know enough. You’re a weak pathetic bully. And weak pathetic bullies like you deserve to get treated like this. They deserve to be treated like pieces of trash, like less than humans. After all, are you even human?"
After slapping him again and again, he released Marcus and stood, brushing himself off. The leader scrambled to his feet, but he didn’t attack. His confidence had been shaken, his authority fractured. Jason turned to the others who sat there on the floor after trying again and again to take on Jason only to be swatted off like flies.
"You can keep following him," he said, his voice calm but cutting. "Or you can start asking yourselves so hard questions. Like why you let him control you. Why you’ve wasted so much energy trying to tear down? Why do you let life run over you again and again? You people have brains. You can think. So start using that capacity to think. Start doing the things that need to be done."
The silence was deafening. Jason let it linger before turning to leave. At the door, he paused and looked back over his shoulder.
"Think about it," he said, his voice soft but laced with nace. "Because next ti, I won’t be so nice. When I see you next ti, I am going to ask you the hard questions. And next ti, I will make you give the answers I want."
As Jason walked away, his hands clenched into fists. He’d shaken them, but it wasn’t enough. Not yet.
His system panel glowed faintly in his mind’s eye, the mission status still incomplete.

Jason sighed. He needed to escalate, but how far was he willing to go? Could he cross the line and still live with himself? Well, it was already too late. He had to end things even if he didn’t want to.
There was sothing called the Socratic Trap. And that was demanding answers and then asking questions based on those answers going deeper and deeper and breaking beliefs that ford those assumptions to begin with.
For example, if there was soone who believed that Money was hard to co by they could be asked why they thought that, and then they might say because they have never had money, and when asked why they would say their parents never had money…
When this process is repeated ad infinitum, one could get to the root of the problem very quickly and when he got to the root, that was where the magic would begin.
This kind of thing was perfect for getting people to change their minds... But it was also perfect for breaking people’s minds. That was exactly what Jason was looking to do.
The first part of the plan was to make them understand that Jason was a terrifying person who they could not easily take down. Next, they would understand that Jason was soone who would break them down and then bring them to nothingness.
He would break their minds, and maybe, just maybe, he would reform them in a better form than before. If he was in a good mood. If not... he might leave them to go crazy.
The thought lingered as he stepped into the bustling mall once more, the laughter of children and the hum of life contrasting starkly with the darkness brewing in his mind. Jason had a smile on his face as he wiped his hands.
Slapping that guy’s face was so satisfying.
For now, he had their fear. Soon, he would have their submission. And then afterwards, he would have their everything.
Jason did his shopping in peace on that day, and then after completing it, he went ho. It was going to be a long trip. Jason decided to take a walk ho, just to see the sights. On his way back, he saw soone that put a smile on his face.
There she was. Emily Grayson, in a shirt, and she was running around, doing things. It was pretty interesting to see. So she was working out, huh... Jason noted that information down. It might be good to have. After all, if he was capable of taking revenge on the goons, then maybe should he take revenge on Thomas Grayson too.
Jason walked off, getting ho and then reaching the place, he finally got in, seeing that Veronica was not around. Oh well. She was a busy woman. It made total sense. Jason opened up the fridge, got so food and then went ahead and ate, and when he was finally done, he went and took a shower, before going to bed.
Tomorrow he had more training. His training would last for so ti before he finally had real work. Before then, he had to learn everything about the thods they were using. It was unfortunate, but the departnt he was in was not where the money was.
He was focused on Ads and Creatives when he should have been handling Client Connections and Managent. If Jason achieves good results, then perhaps he could consider requesting a shift in departnts.
Sighing, Jason had a smile on his face as he looked at his fist that he rembered being stained with blood. Today was a bit… ssed up. But it felt so good that he hoped he might never get addicted to it!
He really wouldn’t mind experiencing that rush again. Was that a good thing?
