Jason pushed open the front door, his suit slightly rumpled but still neat from the long morning. The first thing he noticed was Veronica standing at the base of the grand staircase, her sharp blue eyes widening with relief as they t his.

She was a vision of elegance even in her casual wear… a silky, sleek black dress that hugged her curves. The black waves of her hair frad her face, the sunlight streaming through the window catching the streaks of gold in her necklace.

"Jason!" she exclaid, rushing down the stairs. Her heels clicked sharply against the polished wood as she closed the distance between them. Her hands were imdiately on him, inspecting his appearance. "What happened to you? Are you okay?"

Jason caught her hands and smiled faintly, pulling her close. "I missed you," he said, his voice low and warm, the timbre soothing and magnetic. He leaned down and kissed her deeply, silencing her concerns. When he pulled back, her cheeks were flushed, and her lips slightly parted, the tension montarily forgotten.

But her eyes narrowed as she stepped back, not letting herself get taken in by Jason’s charm. "Where were you all night?" she asked, her voice tinged with suspicion.

Jason’s expression remained calm as he t her gaze. "I was with another woman," he said plainly.

Veronica froze, her hand still resting lightly on his chest. Her breathing hitched, and for a mont, the room felt like it had been sucked of all air. "What?" she whispered, disbelief and hurt dripping from the single word.

Jason nodded, his resolve unshaken. "You know I won’t lie to you, Veronica. That’s who I am."

Her hand fell away as she stepped back, shaking her head. "After... after everything between us? After what we—"

He interrupted her gently, taking her hand before she could retreat further. "Veronica," he said, his tone firm but not unkind, "this is who I am. You’ll have to accept it, or..."

"Or what?" she snapped, yanking her hand away. "You’ll leave? After making —" Her voice broke, and she turned away, wrapping her arms around herself as if to ward off the emotional storm threatening to overwhelm her.

Jason followed her as she ascended the stairs, his footsteps deliberate. When she tried to slam her bedroom door shut behind her, he caught it with his hand, pushed it open and stepped inside.

"Veronica, dont walk away from ," he said quietly, closing the door behind him. "You can’t get rid of ."

She spun around, her eyes blazing with fury and pain. "What do you want from , Jason? You’ve turned my life upside down. I betrayed my husband’s mory for you, and now you—"

Jason closed the distance between them, his hands resting lightly on her shoulders. "There was no betrayal," he said, his voice steady. "You’re holding onto guilt for sothing that doesn’t exist. What we have is real. But I’m not the kind of man who pretends to be soone he’s not. I thought you understood that."

She tried to push him away, but he held her firmly.

"Don’t," he said softly. "Don’t lie to yourself, Veronica. You’ve known who I am from the start. You saw with other won, and instead of pushing you away, it drew you in. You’ve always known this was who I was. Don’t lie to yourself now."

Veronica gazed into Jason’s eyes, disbelief lighting up in hers, but Jason’s gaze was forceful as if his words were the only truth in this world... What he was doing at that mont was a bit ssed up, but it was necessary.

Jason was effectively rewriting the history she had experienced, making sure she saw it in a way that was perfect for the justification of his current story. Even if it was partially true that she had seen him getting along with other won, and was still drawn to him regardless, that was not a justification.

But did that matter? What was the truth anyway? Was truth sothing that objectively existed, or was it the thing that subjectively was repeated enough tis by people to the extent that it beca sothing that beca the truth?

Tears welled in her eyes, and she pounded a fist weakly against his chest. "Why? Why can’t I be enough for you? Why do you have to look elsewhere? Am I not good enough? Is it because I’m old? Is that it?"

Jason cupped her face in his hands, his thumbs brushing away the tears that spilt onto her cheeks. "It’s not about you being enough," he said. "You’re incredible, Veronica. But I’m a man who doesn’t hold back. I’m greedy. I want you. And I want more. That’s who I am."

She searched his face, her lips trembling as the weight of his words settled on her. "I can’t do this," she whispered. "I can’t share you."

Jason leaned closer, his forehead resting against hers. "You don’t have to make that decision now," he murmured. "But if you push away, you’ll regret it. I know you will. You know you will too."

This was also "true". At least in the short term.

Veronica’s resolve crumbled as she let out a soft sob, and Jason was quick, bringing her into a hug and burying her face against his chest. Jason held her tightly, his hand stroking her back in soothing circles. "I’m not leaving you," he said. "Not unless you make ."

She pulled back slightly, looking up at him with red-rimd eyes. "Why can’t you just be mine?" She sobbed, her eyes looking into his, the pain real in them. "I can even sll her on you," Veronica hissed, her eyes narrowing. "Who was she? The sa one from before? A different one?"

For a mont, Jason’s expression faltered. Okay... this is... unnecessary. Jason did not need her asking too many questions. He needed her to be in his life to her full capacity. And he would be in hers in his full capacity. Seeing her questioning him like this, he figured he had to change the dynamic.

Jason straightened up, the dominance in his posture unmistakable. "What does it matter?" he challenged, his voice dropping to a low, seductive rumble. "You’re still here, aren’t you?"

"Don’t you dare," she warned, taking a step back, but her retreat was cut short as Jason stalked towards her, his movents predatory.

"I dare," he murmured, reaching out to grasp her wrist, his touch sending a jolt of electricity up her arm. "And you’re going to let ."

With a snarl, Veronica tried to yank herself free, but Jason’s grip was like iron. He pulled her closer, their bodies colliding with a force that seed to echo through the room. "You’re not going anywhere," he growled, his eyes dark with lust.

"Let go of !" she yelled, her breath coming in ragged gasps, her chest heaving against his.

"Make ," he taunted, his voice low and dangerous. He smiled faintly, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Sothing tells you won’t. Veronica, understand this: I won’t stop being . But it doesn’t an I care about you any less. Would I be here if I didn’t?"

Their eyes locked, and in that mont, the fight for dominance was clear. Veronica’s heart raced as she felt a strange, unwelco heat building within her, her body betraying her even as she fought him.

This ti, when he grabbed her, she didn’t resist. Instead, she lted into his embrace, her mouth crashing against his in a furious kiss that spoke of anger, passion, and sothing deeper, sothing darker. Their tongues clashed together as if that previous battle of words had been turned into sothing more... primal.

Her hands found their way to his shirt, tearing it open with a viciousness that surprised even her. Buttons scattered across the floor as she dug her nails into his chest, leaving red trails of desire on his skin. He groaned into her mouth, the sound sending shivers down her spine.

He pushed her up against the wall, his hands roaming over her curves, squeezing and kneading with a possessiveness that made her knees weak. Veronica moaned, her body responding despite her mind’s protests. He cupped her breasts, thumbing her hardened nipples through the fabric of her dress, eliciting a gasp from her.

"Mhh~~!"

"You’re mine," he murmured, his voice thick with need. "You’re always going to be mine."

Her own words were lost in a whimper as he yanked her dress up, exposing her lacy black lingerie. He tugged at the fabric, his teeth grazing her neck, sending waves of pleasure crashing through her. She arched into his touch, her body begging for more, even as her mind scread for her to stop this madness.

He ripped her panties away, leaving her naked and vulnerable before him. The coolness of the air against her heated skin made her gasp, her arousal pooling between her legs. His hand slid down to cup her sex, his thumb brushing against her clit in a slow, taunting circle that made her legs tremble.

"You’re so wet," he murmured, his voice filled with triumph. "You want this, don’t you?"

"No," she lied, her voice strained. "I hate you." Jason chuckled, taking his cock out of his pants. If she hated him that much, then why did she kiss him?

Veronica gazed into Jason’s eyes, trying to find sothing in them. She had just told him she hated him, and it felt like the "truth", but it also felt weird... like there was more to the story. Was she lying? No... She hated this man. Or maybe she hated how he made her feel like she was not enough. But did she hate him? Well, no... Maybe it really was a lie.

The lie was barely out of her mouth before he slamd into her, his cock filling her to the brim.
