Chapter-87
As soon as Sebastian stepped out of his car, the first thing he noticed was the footprints in the wet soil that were leading to the abandoned building-like thing his n brought him to.
The footprints definitely belonged to a woman.
"Are you sure this is the place?" Sebastian asked, and his n nodded.
"You are right on ti, prince. I think they are trying to shift their base sowhere else now. They called the logistics company that took away most of the usable furniture in the building," his man said, and Sebastian humd, finding it a bit suspicious.
"Did they suspect anything? Like your presence or sothing else? I don’t see why they would leave right before I arrived," Sebastian asked, but thinking he might just be thinking too much about it, he walked inside the abandoned building.
There they were, the won that had dared to snatch the boys from him and given him the challenge -
Sebastian paused mid steps.
"You said the culprits were won,"
"Yes, sir," the man who was following the prince answered, and Sebastian closed his eyes in pure frustration.
"Then why the hell am I seeing boys in front of ?" Sebastian asked his man before looking at the n who were disguised in won’s clothing and standing as if waiting for them only.
His subordinate was shocked.
"Sir, those won were here a few minutes ago. I saw -"
"Who are you? What is your relationship with those won? If you tell the truth, we may let you live, but if we sense any lie, you know how cruel I can be," Sebastian threatened, and the guys shivered in fear.
When they were asked to do this job and offered so much money, they thought it was a prank. They were even tempted to ignore the request, but since they didn’t have anything better to do, they thought of trying their luck.
The boys didn’t believe that anyone from this abandoned area would offer them so much money until the stack of notes was placed right in the middle of their palms.
The won left after giving them the clothes and ensuring they wore them. They just said that they’d have to wait for an hour and leave after that. It’s not like they were loaded with so work and didn’t have ti.
When all of this was happening, the boys had never thought that they would see the vampire prince standing against them in that one hour.
"Sir, please forgive us. We had no idea what was going on. Soone called us with a fake voice and asked us to co here. They said they’d offer us a large stack of money if we wore won’s dresses. They even said that we wouldn’t have to do anything and leave after an hour," One of the n said, and Sebastian clenched his fists.
Whoever was the leader of this group, he was way more cunning than Sebastian had thought. For the first ti, he felt that soone used his brain while acting against him and wiped all the evidence and -
Sebastian looked at the door from where the vague stench of blood was coming and nodded at Lucas to go and check it.
He turned to his leader with a cold look.
"And you said they didn’t notice you, hmm? How did they plan all this right before we arrived if they didn’t notice your presence?" Sebastian walked to the place where his spy was hiding and noticed there wasn’t anything worth suspecting for real.
How did those people actually find out about - his gaze fell on the wet soil.
Right. Those heels. Since this is an abandoned area, anyone is supposed to be suspicious if there are foreign footprints out of nowhere. The leader or whoever he is must’ve seen them too.
"You fool. Couldn’t you use your vampire powers rather than walking like a human? What is the use of your skills if you can use them?" Sebastian scoffed.
"The boys are still here, sir," Lucas said, and Sebastian raised his brows.
So these people only changed their location and didn’t take their captives? Did they not want to kill them? Or is it because they knew their sll would be easily caught and his n would find out they were leaving like this?
Sebastian walked to the room, and when he saw the beaten boys, his lips thinned into a sigh.
They have already been tortured. It looks like the leader of that won’s group got what he wanted.
Sebastian walked to the boys, and the boys, who sensed the danger from far away, looked at the man warily.
"I don’t have much ti. Who did this to you?" He asked.
More than bullying them back, Sebastian was more interested in knowing who the hell this person was who dared to go against him in broad daylight.
"I...I don’t know. She was covered from head to toe. Only she was visible through the shades.
She inquired about the bad stuff we did recently," the boy said without hesitation.
They have already seen the results of keeping quiet. Carl was still unconscious as he hung from the tiles, and they weren’t even able to walk or struggle to get themselves out. They didn’t want the second session of the sa thing.
"A girl, you said?" Sebastian was even more amazed now.
He nodded at himself before walking out of the room. He didn’t have the ti to waste here.
It was already around seven, and he needed to pick up his wife too. He sighed before massaging his forehead.
He wanted to kill these boys to death, but now that soone else knows about them too, despite the fact that the person doesn’t like these humans, things are bound to get ssy since that person also knows the vampire prince is involved.
This girl might try to use it against him, and seeing how cunning she is, she won’t want any easy thing to keep her mouth shut. They shouldn’t take these risks when he is competing for the throne and his brothers are trying to find reasons against him.
Sebastian nodded at himself.
’But they hurt Elliana,’ A voice ca from his heart, and he took a deep breath.
He walked back inside the room and looked at the boys.
"Which one among you had tried to drown the prin - Elliana?" He asked, and everyone’s eyes widened.
Elliana again? Why was everyone so obsessed with this girl? These dangerous people are on Elliana’s side too?
"I-it was Carl, sir," The boy said, and Sebastian walked to him before fixing his shoulder and jaws.
Carl, who was unconscious, jerked back into consciousness when the pain shot across his shoulder and jaws.
Everyone sighed in relief when they saw this mysterious, dangerous man helping Carl, yet it was cut short when they heard his next words.
"You made a mistake ssing with her. You don’t know what she ans to . She is my stepping stone for the throne. You dared to hurt her? You got to pay for it," Sebastian said and twisted his neck in a swift motion without waiting for his answer.
The look of fear spread across the four boy’s faces, and they gulped, their heartbeats skyrocketing. Sebastian stood from his place and sighed.
"Usually, I don’t like dirtying my hands, but sotis things just get too ssy. I would’ve spared you. Honestly, I had that thought in my head, but then again, how would I boast about being a good husband if I didn’t kill the people who dared to even raise their eyes at my queen? The wife of the youngest vampire Prince?" Sebastian asked, the revelation shocking the boys.
If they had a way, they wanted to go to Madeline and kill her for what she got them involved with. She hadn’t said a word about it when she was assigned the job.
They knew that Elliana was Madeline’s step-sister, and thus out of jealousy, that girl wanted to throw Elliana out of the way, but the bride of the vampire prince?
If they touch soone like that, they are bound to get punished.
"Sir, we had no idea. When that girl gave us the task, she didn’t tell us anything. Just that we need to handle things for a few weeks, and if we get caught, we were supposed to take the na of the council head," the boy said, and Sebastian scoffed.
"Why are you telling all this when I am not interested? Do you think these things are going to save your life?" Sebastian chuckled darkly before looking at the leader, who was more than happy to finish the job Sebastian started.
The leader walked to the boys and, just like that, started his assault.
"Aaaaaa!"
"Aaaaaaaa!" He pulled out their limbs one by one, making the other boys scream in horror and pain.
After he was done pulling out the limbs of the first boy, who was dead already, he bit into his chest and pulled out the heart to eat it and sharpen his abilities.
"Ask them if they heard it noticed anything in those won, " Sebastian ordered and walked out of the room.
These were indeed monsters. The boys had one last thought before they all t the sa fate.
"Let’s go. I’ll get late," Sebastian said and was walking out of the building when sothing caught his eye.
Sebastian narrowed his eyes. It looks like one of the won’s earrings broke.
"That’s strange. I have never seen them wearing an earring before," the leader responsible for spying on them said, and Sebastian humd.
It only ant one thing. The earring belonged to the girl who led this group. Sebastian stuffed the earring in his pocket and left with his boys, not before leaving so n to go eat and drink from them before burying them.
