anwhile, Elliana was dealing with her business in the suburbs of the Vampire Kingdom; Sebastian sat in his car and looked at the ti.
"Sir, where should I take you?" Lucas asked with a sigh.
"Why is there an annoyed look on your face? We are going as planned," Sebastian said, and Lucas shook his head.
"Well, there is a problem, sir. Your grandpa wants to et you urgently. I don’t know the entire details, but I think Mr. Vincenzo suspected that soone had entered the security system of the Royal Kingdom. They suspect you. Should we go there now or go after visiting the place you want to go?" Lucas asked, and Sebastian pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance.
"Are our spy team becoming weak with each passing day? How could they leave a trace?" Sebastian narrowed his eyes, his gaze shifting to Harry, who was responsible for this job, and the latter gulped.
"We didn’t leave a trace, sir. The thing is, Prince Vincenzo is the expert in this field, and he probably saw that soone made a copy of the footage. We didn’t leave a trace. What they are accusing of is purely guessing. Maybe they suspect us because who else will dare to ss with the royal security system?" Harry said, and Sebastian humd.
"If that’s the case and you guys are sure you didn’t leave any trace, we don’t have a problem," Sebastian said.
"So shall I drive to the royal Kingdom or the suburbs of the vampire kingdom, sir?" Lucas asked, and Sebastian looked out the window.
"It’s only 5 pm. We should go and et Grandpa first. If I don’t go there now, he will ask what I was doing, and even if I create so kind of excuse, he will have people tail us, and that’s the last thing I want when we are going to a place where we are going to torture the humans. It’s better to et him now and remove that risk," Sebastian said, and Lucas nodded before driving in the direction of the royal Kingdom.
After twenty minutes, Lucas parked the car in the driveway of the vampire kingdom and waited for his youngest prince to get out of the car.
"Are you not going out, sir?" Lucas asked, and Sebastian waited for a few seconds, taking his ti looking at the security and everything around.
"Brother, what a pleasant surprise," Sebastian heard Stephano’s voice, who looked like he was going out sowhere.
"I am not so sure if it’s a pleasant surprise," Sebastian murmured before stepping out of the car, his posture screaming danger and arrogance.
Stephano gritted his teeth, hiding them behind his smile. Sebastian was the youngest of all the princes, yet the vibes he oozes are nothing less than a king, and it always irks Stephano.
He took a deep breath and stepped ahead to hug Sebastian, but Sebastian took a step back.
"You are going out, brother. I wouldn’t want to crinkle your clothes," Sebastian said.
"It’s okay. Hugging my brother is more important than these clothes that I can change again," Stephano said before he pulled Sebastian in for a hug, knowing all too well how much Sebastian hates the physical touch and shy away from it at any given chance.
Stephano smirked before looking at his brother from the corner of his eyes and then pulling back.
"You know what? It’s been a long ti since you returned to the Kingdom palace. I am not going out. Let’s sit and have a good chat," Stephano bead, and Sebastian suppressed the urge to scoff.
Sit and have a chat? It was more like, let’s sit and spy on our youngest brother because we are afraid that he might be planning sothing against and plotting to take over the throne. Sebastian rolled his eyes at the words that were clearly written on Stephano’s face.
"Are you sure about it, brother? If you are going to do so important work, you should go and concentrate on it. I am just here to et the grandpa. He said he wanted to have a good chat with , and nothing at all," Sebastian deliberately said the grandpa wanted to have a good chat, knowing all too well how anxious his elder brother might get.
"It wasn’t anything important. I was just going to check the security. Let’s go and have that decent talk with the grandpa together," Stephano practically hooked his hand with Sebastian, and Lucas looked at Harry, who shrugged.
Prince Stephano was being overly sweet lately.
"I think we can walk while keeping a safe distance. You know I hate physical touches. So unless you are trying to make hate you, I am sure you will respect my boundaries," Sebastian’s words were cold and void of emotions like always, and Stephano’s smile froze before he cleared his throat and maintained his distance.
"You still haven’t changed. And here I thought after getting married, this problem of yours would’ve been cured," Stephano’s words froze Sebastian in his place montarily.
Right. This was a problem that he had with everyone and not just with anyone in particular, no?
Then why the hell is it that whenever it cos to Elliana, he doesn’t feel bothered by the physical touch? Her touch never annoys him; rather, he finds himself wanting to touch her more often.
Even last night, when Elliana had returned to the room and, according to their arrangents, wore that blindfold on her eyes just so he could take off his mask, he had this sudden urge to continue what they had stopped because of that leader’s call.
Her heaving chest up and down as she crawled almost on top of him like her usual sleeping routine was distracting.
Sebastian hates it even when soone’s hand touches his.
Then why is it that whenever it cos to her, he doesn’t mind these things as much as everyone? Why did he initiate those touches himself? Even going to the extent of kissing her.
No. That wasn’t a kiss. It was pure sucking of her lips and saliva because of how much he tasted her. He still wanted to taste her, probably every day and every mont of his life now.
Was it because she was his wife?
"Hey? Where are you going?" Stephano’s words brought Sebastian out of his daze, and he found himself walking toward the backyard.
"I was hoping to see how my horse is doing till the maids inform my grandpa that I am here, and he cos down. I would rather talk with him in the backyard and greenery than in so living room over a cup of tea," Sebastian quickly covered his distraction.
"Oh. Your Horse is doing great. We were actually hoping to have him run in a race. His speed is impeccable. Strangely he doesn’t let anyone sit on him apart from you," Stephano said.
"What can I say? It’s not a throne seat where anyone can sit," Sebastian smirked, and Stephano paused.
"What do you an, Sebastian?" His eyes turned red, and Sebastian shrugged.
"I ant the literal aning of my words, brother. A horse is a loyal animal and only takes one person as his owner most of the ti until he is abandoned, but the owner of the throne changes almost every 30-40 years, no? That seat isn’t loyal to anyone," Sebastian said, smirking inside.
Lucas and Harry, who knew their prince was deliberately insulting the entire royal family, turned their heads to hide their smiles as they didn’t want to be caught smiling.
It was all their wishful thinking. Legally Sebastian should’ve been the owner of the throne because his father was the ex king, but because of a feud and his grandpa’s will, all the prince were neck to neck for the throne.
Maybe it was because he didn’t want any problems to rise in future, like kinship killing, but it was still making things hard and ugly between the Prince of the royal family.
"Sir, The king is calling you inside," The maid looked at Sebastian before bowing to Stephano.
"Ask him to co out. He wanted to talk to . He should make so efforts," Sebastian chuckled, and Abramo, who was already walking to the backyard, rolled his eyes.
"Aren’t you being a bit too rebellious these days?" Abramo looked at Stephano and imdiately knew what stopped him from going to check the securities.
"Tell one thing. I won’t beat around the bush. Have you recently ssed with the CCTV security of the royal Kingdom?" Don’t try to lie. I know you have spies and the whole team out there who is ready to do anything for you," Abramo asked.
Sebastian looked at his grandfather before looking at his brother, who was waiting for his reply and smiled.
He was acting rebellious these days. Wasn’t this exactly what he had been doing since he turned twelve? Isn’t that exactly why he was given a separate palace?
"You are right, Grandpa. I am acting a bit rebellious these days. But does that gives you the right to accuse of sothing as big as this? Why do you always accuse of the first thing sothing bad happens in the royal Kingdom? Am I that bad in your eyes?" Sebastian asked, his eyes wavering.
Abramo, who didn’t expect this kind of reaction front him, felt guilty.
What was wrong with their prince? If it had been previous tis, he would have revoked that matter with logic and proof. Why was he getting emotional? Everyone was shocked as they looked at each other hoping soone would have the answer.
