Chapter-62
Sothing is wrong with her mind. If anyone had told her this, she wouldn’t have believed it. However, now that she was walking this raw rough path to the forest, Elliana could see sothing was wrong with her and how she thinks about things.
If there had been anyone else in her place, they wouldn’t have walked down this path where she doesn’t even know where she was going anymore, at least after what happened with her and those human boys.
She should’ve been careful and cared about her life and health, but what was she doing? She was following so random signs that so mysterious person was sending to her on her phone through ssages.
It has been fifteen minutes since she started walking. The ssage said that she needed to be at the lake, and Elliana walked there with her trembling heart. But that wasn’t all.
Now that person wanted her to co to the directions he/she was giving.
Heck, she doesn’t even know if the person she is eting was a man or a woman.
Elliana was putting a lot of trust in her faith and good luck, and now after walking for another fifteen minutes, she was starting to suspect, if this person, whoever it was, even wanted to et her.
Her phone pinged with another ssage, and she nearly threw it away in annoyance.
Just one more sign. She will follow this last sign, and if this person doesn’t show up, she will turn around and leave. Elliana told herself before walking in the left direction as the ssage said. As soon as she reached a little clearing, her phone pinged again, and she scowled.
’Well, this ssage and the person ssaging can go to hell. I don’t want to do this anymore,’ Elliana thought in her mind and turned around. However, as soon as she did that, she stumbled on a pebble and fell.
"Ouch!" She winced and looked at her hand which had small scratches and was bleeding now.
"Why is everyone being so an to lately, woohooo," She flailed her legs on the ground like a kid.
She felt wronged. Elliana ca all the way here and got nothing in return. She was sure more than even that whoever this person was, they were just ssing with her.
"Is it fun for you? How can you trick an innocent girl like this? Was it good? Did you get a good laugh? I hope you fall into the pond when you stand beside it. Whoever you are, I hope the food is too salty when you eat it, and there is nothing more to eat you. I hope dogs follow and bark at you and fall into the mud. I hope you forget -"
"Even if the curses are small, don’t you think you are cursing a lot?" Elliana heard a voice in her ears and shrieked loudly.
"Aaaa...mmmphhhh," her scream was muffled because soone placed a hand over her mouth.
"Geez, stop it. I am not here to kidnap you," she heard the female voice and stopped screaming, hiccuping slowly.
Elliana turned around to see who it was who scared her like this, and her eyes went wide in surprise.
"Were you leaving just like that after coming this far?" The woman asked Elliana, but she was too surprised to answer her.
"You, aren’t you the sa -" Elliana stuttered when her gaze fell on the lady’s neck.
The sa black stone tattoo.
"The sa lady who t you a couple of years ago and saved you from those boys running behind you and took you to the racing track? Yes, I am the sa lady," The lady said, and Elliana looked her up and down.
That day it was nightti, and the lady was in a black attire that hid her from head to toe along with a helt.
However, she had seen the black stone tattoo and her face when she had taken off her helt.
Though it was a long ti before, Elliana still recognized her.
"I... Are you the one I was contacting? The owner of this private number? G had asked to call on this number and said the person on the other side will help through my chakra control," Elliana’s head was a little ssed up.
"Well, I am not necessarily the owner of this private number. However, I am definitely the one assigned to you," the lady said, and Elliana looked at her, confused.
Her words didn’t make any sense at all. This lady was assigned? Who assigned them? Was she assigned to Elliana? But why? What was this all about? This lady knew about Elliana beforehand? Did G know her before she entered the sa cell?
Was any of this even true? Many questions started circling Elliana’s mind, and she bit her lips before turning around to take a deep breath and calm her heart.
"It’s a lot to take in, no?" The lady spoke and walked in front of Elliana and the latter humd.
"I don’t know what to trust anymore. You have known for more than two years, right? Did you also know about my powers? My chakra control? Was it there at that ti too? Did you tell G about beforehand? Or did she really find in the cell as a stranger? Everything is a bit ssed up," Elliana confessed, and the lady sighed.
"If that’s the case, will you at least give a chance to explain myself? Maybe things will beco clearer that way," the lady suggested, and Elliana humd.
They walked so distance before stopping at a cave.
"My original plan was to call you here, but you obviously got fed up with my directions, and I had to co to you," The lady said, and Elliana chuckled awkwardly, rembering her curses earlier.
She looked around at the cave and noticed sothing strange. There were so carvings in this cave. Carvings that looked too natural to be handmade. What was this?
"Let’s start with the day I found you. Honestly, I have been keeping an eye on you even before that. The only thing I can say right now is that I was observing you because I knew you were the chosen one. The one, whose powers were enlightening," The lady said, her back to Elliana, and the latter sat on the ground near the cave.
"You an to say I had these powers awakened even before I was in prison?" Elliana asked, surprised.
"Yes. In fact, it was your powers who called to you. I don’t know if you rember or not, but one of the tis you were stuck in a prison-like thing with a lion. Why do you think that the hungry lion never attacked you?" The lady asked, and Elliana shrugged.
"Because maybe lions have more humanity than humans? He saw how pitiful I was and decided to leave ?" Elliana’s own answer appeared more like questions, and the lady chuckled at her.
"Do you really believe that nonsense? Lions are predators, and the one you were stuck with was hungry for 2 weeks. No matter how pitiful you looked, he was bound to attack you when you were bleeding like that," the lady said.
Elliana scowled and pouted childishly. She really believed that the lion was a good one, and that’s why she even freed him. This lady didn’t need to burst her happy bubble by calling her thoughts nonsensical.
"Don’t pout. That’s the truth. The lion didn’t attack you because of your powers. You have no idea what kind of powers and vibes you ooze when your body goes into protective mode," The lady sighed before she sat in front of Elliana, mimicking her posture.
"I was actually passing by when I saw the energy influx at so distance from my location. It was uncalled and mysterious. I went to check, and that’s when I saw you for the first ti. Long story short, I started following you and here I am," The lady shrugged before moving closer to Elliana.
"G didn’t know anything about you. I was the one who told her everything. She was like a ssenger between us. And well, indeed, she was there only for you. I sent her there," the lady said, and Elliana nodded.
If not all, at least a few things were clearer to her now.
"So, are you also like ? Do you have your chakra control unlocked?" Elliana’s curious eyes made the lady look at her softly before she humd.
"You can say sothing like that,"
"So, how will you help ? Is there a way to get things under control?" Elliana asked, and the lady stood from her place before turning around.
"I will help you by training you,"
"Training ?"
"Yes. Just like G trained you in ditation and controlling your psychic powers, I will help you in controlling your chakra control," The lady turned to Elliana with a smile.
"I am not sure if you’ve noticed, but your powers are increasing day by day. They are now interacting with nature around them, no? The water, the rain, the sun rays, and the wind. You will soon be able to interact with land too. However, it will rain havoc if you don’t learn to control your powers," the lady’s words made Elliana thin her lips.
"I don’t think training would be possible. Is there a way I can block these powers?" Elliana said after a long thought and the lady looked at her, confused.
"Why would you say that? Is there sothing on your mind?" The lady asked, and Elliana sighed.
She stood from her place and turned to the caves, tracing its design with her finger.
"I don’t want them. Things have already been tough for . As you’ve said, if I don’t get them under control, it will rain havoc. I am not a coward and I want to have sothing that is gifted to by the goddess herself, but it will be all useless if I get busted," Elliana said.
