"Is that so? I will protect you and ensure that nothing happens to you, but you have to take there and help too," Elliana said to the wolf, who looked at her and Nathaniel with an unsure gaze.

Elliana could see the hesitancy in his eyes. Her fists clenched by her side. She didn’t have ti for all this drama. She needed to go and save her husband as soon as possible.

"You have my word. I won’t go back on my words. As long as you are not in the wrong for betraying us, I will save you from all the obstacles and people," Elliana promised, and the wolf looked a little bit relieved after hearing her words.

"In that case, follow ," The man said.

Elliana looked at Nathaniel who was starting to follow them.

She grabbed his hand.

"You go and search the area through the skies. The sooner we find them, the better," Elliana said.

Nathaniel imdiately understood her signal. He nodded and vanished into thin air, making the wolf step back, a little bewildered.

"What are you guys?" He asked, and Elliana looked at the man in front of her.

"He was our future queen’s friend. I am King Marino’s loyal maid. I have to get him back to his wife or she will have my neck," Elliana said, testing the waters.

"You are a human?" He asked, and Elliana nodded, her auras already suppressed.

"Fine. Co with ," The man quickly changed into his wolf form and nudged her with his snout, an indictnt for her to sit on top of his back.

Elliana looked at the wolf and pressed her lips into a thin line.

"I don’t sit on just any wolf’s back. My friend will be here soon," Elliana said as she summoned Jasmine at so distance.

Jasmine, who was already inford of what was going on through a familiar voice inside her head, imdiately stepped out of the bushes and looked at her boss, bowing in respect.

The werewolf looked at the rogue wolf, a bit apprehensive.

"Where did this she-wolf co from?" He asked, looking at Elliana peculiarly.

"I was looking for her when I was driving earlier so that I could send her on the mission of looking for King Marino. She was running along with my car and ran away when you arrived. Is there a problem?" Elliana asked.

She looked at Jasmine before walking to her and touching her slightly wet fur because of the rain.

"No. What problem could there be? Just keep out of it," The man said and Elliana nodded in understanding.

"I have made a promise and I intend to keep it," Elliana said before she patted Jasmine’s back.

Jasmine imdiately understood the signal and stood straight, letting Elliana climb on top of her.

The she-wolf moved her head slightly to tell Elliana to hold onto her fur to keep herself stable and Elliana leaned forward, nodding at Jasmine to follow the wolf.

anwhile, Stephano rushed to the site where they found Sebastian’s crashed car. There were hints of blood everywhere and he didn’t need to be told what actually transpired there.

"Quickly check the area!" Stephano ordered his man before he stepped ahead to look at the scene, wanting to find sothing that might help them get a hint of what was happening.

He walked closer to the back seat of the car before opening the door.

The thick scent of his brother’s royal blood wafted through his nostrils and he scrunched his nose before patting the area around the seat to find any clue.

The window of Sebastian’s side was broken forcefully. The chances were, whoever it was, first made their car crash into the tree and then broke the glass to pull his brother out.

Stephano looked ahead, the car almost squeezed after bumping into the tree.

He tried to open the door of the front seat, but it was cramped totally and he nearly had to snap it open, pulling it away with a jerk. He threw the door away before looking at the front seat to see if there was anything that could’ve made the car crash or his brother weak.

There was no way he was going to believe that their car crashed, so people ca and took his brother away just like that. He wasn’t built that way. He was a fighter.

So unless Sebastian had other motives in mind, there was no way he would follow those people to take him away.

Stephano ruffled his hair and was about to walk back to his car when he saw sothing at so distance. He bent down, his gaze darkening when he saw a wolf’s fur.

So it was the werewolves this ti? But why would they attack them out of the blue without a purpose? Things weren’t adding up.

Stephano felt his phone vibrating in his pocket and he pulled it out to see Vincenzo calling him.

"I have found -"

"I have found-"

Both of them spoke at the sa ti and Stephano paused.

"What have you found?" Stephano asked.

"It’s the werewolves. The werewolves of the Red Moon pack. We got one of their wolves who were following us, probably to keep a lookout at our movents," Vincenzo said and Stephano humd.

"I found Sebastian’s crashed car here. The wolf fur is also here. I am afraid that a fight took place and they took Sebastian and his subordinates away," Stephano said, taking a deep breath.

"What should we do? Shall we inform Elliana? The girl must be losing her mind without him," Vincenzo asked and Stephano looked back at the car before exhaling a sigh of helplessness.

Was telling Elliana really okay at a ti like this? The car was nearly fully damaged and the traces of blood were everywhere. The strongest scent of Sebastian’s blood was thick in the air. She would nearly lose it if she saw this scene and probably used her witch powers that she shouldn’t be using and just healing.

Stephano looked at his n who were ravaging the jungles to look for any hideout of the wolves.

"I don’t think that’s a good idea. Sebastian’s blood is everywhere," Stephano said, his words a clear signal that if they didn’t want Elliana to lose control and indirectly end up offending Sebastian, it wasn’t the best thing to do at the mont.

"She deserves to know. If she becos angry and rushes to the Red Moon pack to attack, we will back her up. This shouldn’t even be a question. She is his wife, for god’s sake," Vincenzo said and Stephano humd.

"Call her and tell her everything that happened," Stephano said.

"Why should I? You are there and know where the place is. Tell her everything," Vincenzo said, not wanting to be on the receiving end this ti.

"Sir, we found sothing," One of Stephano’s n walked to him and the man nodded before ending the call abruptly and following his man.

"What have you found?" Stephano asked, but the man just pressed his lips into a thin line.

"Dead bodies, sir," The man said, making Stephano pause montarily.

"Sebastian’s subordinates?" He asked, knowing all too well that there was no way the wolves would be competent enough to be able to hurt his brother, who was a monster within.

"Wolves, sir," The man said and Stephano followed him where they found the bodies.

To say he was surprised would be an understatent. There were around 30 bodies of dead wolves, so of them in their human forms.

"What is this supposed to an?" Stephano asked no one in particular.

Judging from the way these bodies were mutilated, there was no way this was the work of his brother or his subordinates. Though so of the bodies were shredded, any professional person who has fought battles could see it was a failed attempt at making it look like it was the work of vampires.

He heard so faint breathing and noticed a couple of them were still breathing. Does that an this Massacre didn’t take place long ago and was recently done? But by who?

Was there so kind of conspiracy going on among the wolves that they didn’t know about? Who were these people who were hellbent on framing the vampires and why?

Stephano walked to the dead bodies to see if he could gather the identity of any wolf.

In one of the werewolf’s pockets, he found the identity card and it was clearly written that this wolf probably belonged to the Red Moon pack.

Vincenzo said that the Red Moon pack was the one who made a move against his brother too, right? Was this Massacre related to his brother’s vanishing?

Stephanie ruffled his hair before looking at his people.

"Keep searching. Don’t leave any spots. Also, ask the dical team to rush here and see if we can save any of these wolves or was there any hope," Stephano said, hoping to save at least one of them so they could gather so of the truth about what was actually happening.
