"Where did you read about that?" Sebastian asked.
"That’s not the answer to my question, Mr. Marino," Elliana asked, and Sebastian gulped.
He looked into his wife’s eyes, unsure about sothing for the first ti in his life.
"But...but what if I turn into an even bigger monster, princess? What if I end up hurting you?" Sebastian turned around, unable to face his wife anymore, and Elliana pressed her lips into a thin line.
"You won’t. A person who is ready to do anything and everything for will never hurt intentionally. If I win the battle with the witches, will you allow to take this risk and kiss you?" Elliana asked hopefully, but Sebastian shook his head.
"I am sorry, Princess. I can’t," Sebastian stepped ahead to leave the room.
However, Elliana held his hand, stopping him from moving.
"Consider this as my last wish if I were dying. Please," Elliana asked, tears brimming her eyes that she quickly blinked away.
"My grandmother turned you into this beast and stole all your happiness. Let give that back to you. You won’t be frowned upon, you will drink human blood just like all the vampires. The beast will stay inside you, keeping you strong, but you will be accepted. At least, if I won’t be there, you will have your family who won’t fear you anymore," Elliana whispered.
Sebastian clenched his fists.
"What about you? What if I end up drinking more blood than the ritual needed? Sothing tragic will happen, and the thought alone that you will get hurt is enough for to choose to stay the monster that you fell for rather than beco the vampire that everyone will love," Sebastian cupped her cheeks, to convey his words to her.
"Only you matter to , Cara. When will you understand that you are my sole purpose of survival? Do you want to kiss under the moonlight? I promise I will kiss you under that special moon, but don’t expect to change, because I don’t want to. This is how you have fallen in love with , and I intend to keep every single thing with for the rest of my life," Sebastian said, making Elliana glare at him, her emotions turning from happy and concerned to anger imdiately.
"You have made angry, Mr. Marino. Don’t bla if your brother ends up in the ICU today," Elliana whispered, jerking his hand away, and making the man sigh.
Sebastian shook his head.
How is he supposed to tell her that the witch community won’t allow her to reverse a curse laid upon him, and if she forces this, they will probably disown her just like they did to Nathaniel?
He didn’t want that to happen when they needed all the witches’ support in the world to help her.
Sebastian ruffled his hair and was about to move when Elliana appeared in front of him out of nowhere and pulled him down for a kiss.
Before Sebastian could co to his senses and kiss her back, she huffed loudly.
"This is an angry ’wish luck’ kiss. Don’t get ahead of yourself. I am still mad," Elliana snarled, her snarls making her look like a small kitten showing her whiskers before she disappeared again, making Sebastian smile in re amusent.
What good did he really do in his previous life to get the best wife in this world? She clearly can’t say no to him or stay mad at him for long.
And the thought that she loved him just as much as he loved her, made his heart fill with joy.
And now, he needs to ensure that his wife seriously doesn’t take her anger out on his brother.
Sebastian walked to the backyard of the royal palace, his brows raising at the arrangents his brothers made in such a short ti.
They were seriously treating it like a professional battle.
He even noticed how there were two teams divided around the backyard training field. On one side of the field, it was written ’Team Vincenzo’, and on the other side it was written ’Team Princess Elliana’.
Sebastian sighed, his brows furrowing when he didn’t notice his wife anywhere.
What was actually going on here?
"Baby, where are you?" Sebastian tested the mind link created between them because of the mark they shared.
And Elliana, who was surprised to hear his voice suddenly in her head, looked at her husband at so distance, a subtle smile appearing on her face.
He really cares about her a lot. Even when she gave him an idea to beco sothing that he wished he had all his life, he denied it, all because he didn’t want her to get hurt.
If this wasn’t proof of his love, she doesn’t know what it would be.
"I am behind you," Elliana used the mind link, already a pro at it after talking to her powers for more than a couple of months.
Sebastian imdiately turned around, his gaze darkening when he saw her in professional fighter attire, and damn did she look so beautiful and devouring.
The man didn’t waste a single second in rushing towards his wife, his hand snaking around her naked waist, the latex crop top making her br*asts drool-worthy.
"What do you think you are doing, Princess?" Sebastian asked, glaring at the ladies of the royal family, who imdiately looked away, knowing all too well what their King was angry about.
"What am I doing, King Marino? Do you not know?" Elliana feigned oblivion, making the man clench his teeth.
The pri urge to run his fingers on her legs which were covered with latex pants and wrap them around his torso while he banged her recklessly, started to take over his beast. He didn’t even bother to hide his lust, and Elliana, who could read his thoughts because of no mind barrier between them, smiled softly.
’Why are you looking at like you want to unwrap , Mr. Marino?’ She asked, acting a bit too innocent.
Sebastian groaned at her choice of words, the kinds of positions he wanted to try with her circulating in his head.
"F*ck it," Sebastian whispered under his breath before he disappeared using his vampire speed, making Elliana’s ears turn red.
For a man with strong control over his emotions like Mr. Marino, if he had to run away montarily from her, it only ant that his desires were a bit too strong to be able to control at the mont.
The thought alone filled Elliana’s heart with warmth, her expression imdiately turning stiff as her smile started to falter when she looked at Vincenzo, standing on the other side of the field, talking to his secretary.
