"When will you be free today? I will co to pick you up," Sebastian looked at Elliana, who was looking out of the window, lost in her thoughts.
When he didn’t receive a reply, he sighed and grabbed her hand, making her imdiately look at him.
"Co sit here," Sebastian whispered before he put the partition of the car up and pulled her on his lap.
With her head placed on his chest, Sebastian hugged her close before repeating his question.
"I would be busy with a couple of experints. I am trying a new thing this ti, so let’s see. I will give you a call when I am free. Does that sound good?" Elliana asked, and Sebastian humd.
After ten minutes they reached the University.
"Won’t you say bye and wish good luck at work?" Sebastian asked when she started to move, and Elliana smiled before humming.
"Have a good day at your office and -mmm!" The rest of her words paused when Sebastian captured her lips in a deep passionate kiss.
After what felt like an eternity but was only a few seconds, he left her lips, and Elliana, who didn’t know was holding her breath, finally released her breath.
"This is what I ant when I said to wish good luck. Now go before I beco hungry for more luck," Sebastian whispered.
Elliana didn’t waste a single second jumping from his arms and rushing out of the car.
"You are so an," she mumbled under her breath, making Sebastian smile.
"Start the car. Straight to the dungeons," Sebastian ordered before putting the partition down as soon as he saw her entering the University.
The wronged, shy expression on Elliana’s face imdiately changed when she saw her friends in the corridor, discussing sothing.
"Hey," Elliana reached them.
"Here cos our princess. Where have you been? I have been trying to reach your phone since yesterday but you never answered," Dexter was the first one to speak, and Elliana chuckled awkwardly.
"It was confiscated by my mom. I still don’t have that," Elliana said.
"Your mom took your phone away? Why would she do that? Even when she knows you are a witch too and can literally click your fingers to bring a phone?" lony asked, and Elliana smiled.
"Well, I guess we both didn’t think that far away," She chuckled at her dumbness, and as if on cue, she heard her na being called from behind.
"Miss Minerva,"
Elliana turned around and looked at the unfamiliar figure.
"Madam Azura asked to give you this," The person said.
Elliana walked to the person before taking the bag from her hand.
Elliana peeked inside the bag, her eyes rolling when she noticed a bottle that probably had the herbal juice for her to heal and the phone in the case.
She pulled out her phone and was about to thank the person but the girl was nowhere to be seen.
"I swear I won’t ever get used to these people appearing out of nowhere and disappearing," lony said.
Elliana turned on her phone and walked to her group of friends again.
"So...where are others? Samantha, Alcinder, Daniel? Do they have their lectures?" Elliana asked since all three of them were their seniors while Dexter and lony were her classmates.
"That’s not the case. Samantha isn’t allowed to leave her palace since she is the third princess and her life is in equal danger since they believe that those rogue vampires are after the royals. Alcinder is busy handling the cleaning process and processing the original identities of those rogues since they were turned. Daniel is also busy with his father," lony explained.
Elliana humd.
"Elliana? Why did you co? I heard what happened on the battlefield. You should’ve rested a bit more," Drake walked to the group, and Elliana turned to look at Alcinder, who bowed to her, confusing everyone.
As the next-in-line council head, Alcinder had accompanied his father to the battle zone to establish the resting camps to look over the treatnt of the royal army.
They were doing pretty badly when Alcinder was in tent number 10.
He saw the King’s direct subordinate entering the tent.
Alcinder had personally rushed the doctor to treat him.
He rembered what the Duke’s son had said.
’I miss my princess so much right now,’ Lucas said.
’What do you an by that? What could’ve Elliana done here? She would’ve only gotten hurt,’ Alcinder said while helping the doctor out the herbs and pouring the human blood to replenish his energies.
’You have no idea what my princess is capable of. Even if she hadn’t participated in the fight, her presence was more than enough to wipe out this entire battle zone. That’s how powerful her presence is. It’s not about her only. The man who is fighting outside would tear hell and heaven if she would’ve been here,’ Lucas said.
Alcinder could see that he was clearly exaggerating things, but after so ti, the patients that were coming to the tents for resting and getting treated started to increase tenfold. Even guards with smaller injuries started to return, and it confused Alcinder.
When he asked one of the guards what was happening, they ntioned that the princess was here and she asked the royal army to step back and whoever was hurt or bitten to get imdiate help.
Even though Alcinder knew Elliana was a witch when he heard that she was there and how lightly everyone was taking things, he rushed out of his tent to knock so sense into the girl and help her, but what he saw next changed his opinion about her completely.
In front of him wasn’t the sa girl who fought with him for cutlets and called him poor because he asked to share her lunch. She wasn’t the girl who cried because she got hurt that soone close to her backstabbed her or because those boys attacked her.
At that mont, she was the witch princess Elliana Minerva. She was the werewolf queen who ruled them, but more than that, she was the future queen of the vampire kingdom.
The way she fought, wiping off the groups of royal vampires in a single go, Alcinder understood what Lucas ant and why the royal army imdiately relaxed with her arrival.
He saw her getting hurt and he was about to rush to her side to help her, but his father held his hand.
"Do you want to die? Learn to read the room," His father said, and in the next mont, everyone heard an earth-shattering growl from the King.
He was sure if his father hadn’t stopped him, he would have been lying along with those dead bodies on the ground because the next thing he saw was purely horrific.
"Have you gone insane? Why are you bowing to ? Or wait, have you finally understood the power that my cuteness behold?" Elliana raised her hand above her head as if wearing so kind of crown, snapping Alcinder out of his thoughts, and he chuckled at her.
"Stupid girl," He flicked her forehead, making her scowl.
"Anyway, what are you doing here? Drake is right. You should be resting. You took quite a blow in the field," Alcinder said, and Elliana shook her head.
"I know I should rest but I had a few things left unattended in the fridge regarding my experints. There were a few things that I wanted to try too. That’s why I had to be here," Elliana said before she exchanged a few words and started walking towards the laboratory.
The smile on her face imdiately dropped as soon as she reached the laboratory. Elliana closed the door and locked it before walking to the refrigerator.
She pulled out a few chemicals before displaying them on the counter.
Once she placed all the ingredients on the counter, Elliana clicked her fingers and turned off the lights, smiling in satisfaction when she saw all the ingredients shining with bioluminescence.
She was this close to creating the sa bioluminescence that she had seen on that sea beach where that attack on Mr. Marino’s people took place around a month ago. Elliana looked at the sample of that thing in the other container.
She was sure once she would be able to create the sa effects, she might be able to get to the witch who aided the process.
According to the old ancient dark book she was reading, there was a spell between all those useless spells. The spell was probably one of the most powerful of all the spells in the book.
It was the spell that could be used to absorb a witch’s energy inside yourself if the witch was an absorber. Her mother clearly called her an absorber before. She was ready to test the theory.
She wanted to tell her mom about it, but she also knew that there was no way she would say yes to this magic, and that was why Elliana decided to do half the work.
Elliana sighed and turned around.
However, as soon as she turned her hand accidentally hit the bottles, making them fall to the ground.
"Damn it!" Elliana groaned.
She was about to click her fingers to recreate the process when she noticed sothing on the ground.
The molecules, which were spread all around the area and splashed, were starting to co together on their own.
Elliana gulped. There was no way these liquids were generating their own magic, right?
