After looking for the princess for another fifteen minutes, when no one could find her, Sebastian stopped trying.
No one was capable of finding his princess for him.
His eyes turned black and he was about to let his beast take over to find their wife when he paused.
Everything beca still around him.
It was as if the birds stopped chirping, everyone stopped talking, and the wind stopped blowing when he felt her presence again.
Her heart started to pump blood again, and he felt alive with hope.
"Princess, she is here sowhere," Sebastian turned around frantically.
His heart started beating at a faster pace as he walked around before closing his eyes to feel exactly where she was.
"Princess Elliana," He heard a faint whisper, and he turned towards the direction, seeing everyone gazing behind him towards the stage.
Sebastian turned around, hope and relief clouding his vision and he was about to start moving to go to his princess when he saw her looking at him with a warning in her eyes.
A warning that told him to stay where he was.
"Well, isn’t this a fine morning?" Elliana smiled, taking the mic in her hand, and stopping all the commotion in the area that had been caused by her absence.
"Princess Elliana, where did you go and -"
"I wasn’t done talking, Mom Freya," Elliana cut off the lady mid-sentence and the lady paused.
Sothing was definitely off with Elliana. Then again, from what she heard, the girl deserved to be angry. Freya sighed and looked at others who had the sa expression as hers.
"I... I would like to sing a song for the winner of the crown. He is soone I shared so many emotions with. I hope you guys like it. And I would like him to stay where he is if he doesn’t want to see disappearing again," Elliana whispered before she took a deep breath.
’If you sing, I’ll sing
And If you don’t, I’ll sing anyway.
Let the peace take my breath away.
I can’t live without you, but it was a symphony.
If you walk away, I’ll stay.
If you co back, I’ll stay anyway.
Let the love fill my heart.
Cause, I can’t live without you anyway,’ Elliana sang softly, the emotions in her voice, making Sebastian’s gaze quiver as he felt her emotions through her song.
’But if you find anyone, tell first,
Find soone, who can love you like ,
If you want to go, then leave, I won’t stop you,
I thought I would be able to leave, without a closure, but it rained.
It rained, and it brought to that terrace, that dance in the rain that ruined for .
For a long, I have been hiding my tears,
I won’t co to your sweet talks again
I thought you would bring happiness to my sad life,
But then it rained, it rained, and it took to that night, we kissed for the first ti,
The kiss that ruined for ,
But it all ends today, with a lie it ended,’ Elliana sang with her eyes closed.
With a soft sigh, she opened her eyes and looked straight into the eyes of Mr. Marino.
"Rember what you said to , Mr. Marino? It was my singing that attracted you to for the first ti a couple of years ago. Well, take this song as the closure from my side," Elliana smiled.
"No," Sebastian stepped forward.
"No?" Elliana quirked her brows.
"You are not going anywhere. You are mine. There is no way I am letting you leave without a proper explanation," Sebastian said.
Elliana smiled.
"Hmmm... a proper explanation. What do you want to explain to , Mr. Marino? That it was a misunderstanding? That it was all planned and shit like that?" Elliana raised her voice at him, and Sebastian stood there frozen.
That was exactly what he wanted to say to her, but this tone she used at him, why did it feel like she was mocking him?
"I... It was indeed planned and -"
"So if one day I am going to let my friend who was destined to marry before eting you, touch , hug , hold close, do sothing that I didn’t even let you, you will be absolutely fine with it?" Elliana asked, and Sebastian snarled slowly.
"Mine!" Sebastian’s beast shouted, making Elliana smile and shrug.
"You have your answer to whatever dumb apology you had in mind," Elliana said before she turned away from him.
"So I couldn’t gain your trust to see your face but you let any other woman do it? So fancy love you had, Mr. Marino," Elliana scoffed to hide her emotions before she took a deep breath.
Sebastian’s eyes softened at the mockery in her eyes when she turned to him again. He knew it would be hard winning her again after everything, but he was ready to do anything for her.
"Princess, please give one more chance. I know what I did wrong to get this throne was wrong, and whether it was a plan or not, I should’ve never done that, but I swear to the moon goddess, I love you. I really love you," Sebastian whispered softly as he kept stepping forward towards her.
Elliana’s lips quivered at the three words that Sebastian said for the first ti and she looked away.
"It’s not worth it anymore. I have decided to leave this kingdom and city, in fact, this nation," Elliana said, and Sebastian’s heart thumped.
"Leave? What do you an you are leaving? You can’t do this to , Cara. Please. I know what I did was grave and... If you want, I will give up the throne too. It was all because of this, no? I will do it. You can take off my mask anyti and -"
"You don’t understand, Mr. Marino," Elliana raised her gaze to et his, the lack of emotions in her eyes, making Sebastian pause.
"Do you think I returned to give you so kind of la chance for you to persuade into staying? No," Elliana smiled and stepped forward.
"I am here to give you the remaining gift," Elliana smiled, her eyes flashing cunningly as the powers of Circe’s madness made her want to ruin this party that was celebrating her heartbreak indirectly.
"My remaining gift?" Sebastian asked and Elliana faked a smile.
"Your first gift was the information I gave you about the rogues and helped you with the throne. Your second gift was the poison I made for you. You can consider that divorce agreent as my third gift -"
"Princess!" Sebastian raised his voice at her, but rather than flinching under his gaze like anyone would’ve, Elliana stepped forward and pushed him back.
"Don’t raise your voice at , Mr. Marino. Don’t make lose my patience because it won’t be good for your so-called kingdom," Elliana glared at him before massaging her forehead.
"The agreent between us can’t stay either way. Our marriage was for the peace treaty between the hunter bloodline and the Vampires, no? It happens that I am not the daughter of the hunter bloodline’s king either. I recently found out the truth myself. My mom and dad don’t belong to that bloodline. So this marriage is naturally annulled," Elliana looked at Abramo, who was shocked by what she said as she threw the papers on the ground.
The papers were proof of the death of the real illegitimate daughter of the king. And a clear proof that her DNA didn’t match with his.
"I don’t care if you are their daughter or not. You are my wife, and that’s all that matters to ," Sebastian held her hand and Elliana smiled.
"Mr. Marino, you don’t know what I am. How could you say that? I am sure I can change that sentence in a second," Elliana grinned evilly before looking into so distance.
