Elliana didn’t move from her place. She kept standing under the shower head, the slow water dripping on her head and rolling down her body like soft droplets dripping down the cone of the mountains.

She stood there with her eyes closed, hoping the water would wash away so of her sadness and give her strength to go through another day.

She might appear strong and smiling in front of others, but deep down she knew she was crumbling.

She might have told Nathaniel that she would leave the kingdom and co with him to the Himalayan palace, it wasn’t easy. The idea of leaving one person that you fell so hard for wasn’t supposed to be easy in the first place, but she had never thought that as the day would be near, her heart would almost squeeze painfully in her chest.

She didn’t know what a heart attack felt like, but the clenching of her heart and the fast beating of anxiousness would surely beco the reason for her heart failure at this pace.

’Are you ashad of us?’ Circe asked when their human kept thinking about being a dark witch. The benefit of doubt appeared in their subconscious too as they were reforming to beco a different personality and they didn’t want to be hated by one person they were supposed to protect with their all.

Elliana sighed.

’I don’t have it in . I can’t hate a part of myself, I don’t have it in . I can never hate you because you are . I indeed hate being a dark witch because of the rumors circling the evilness and the prejudice, but I can never hate sothing that protected so many tis. You realize you are my life, right?’ Elliana asked, and Circe nodded, feeling relieved.

’You have us,’ Circe whispered.

’I have you,’ Elliana chanted the words, trying to gather strength from within.

Elliana wiped the water from her face before she quickly washed up and wrapped a towel around herself.

After changing into a comfortable dress, she walked to the balcony to watch the moon.

’So lonely and lovely. Was my destiny just like you?’ She whispered.

As she looked into the sky, her hand involuntarily reached her neck where her pendant was.

"After hearing all these things about everyone and everything near , was this pendant really the last souvenir of my mom to ? How could it be possible when she didn’t even know I was alive?" Elliana looked at the glowing pendant before she circled her finger around the chain.

On the hidden hills, Arizona gasped when Elliana grabbed the locket with hatred like that, and her eyes brimd with tears.

She imdiately clicked her fingers and made a crystal ball appear in front of her to see what was happening.

Roaming her hand on the glass surface, she looked at the girl who was standing near the balcony with frustration in her eyes.

Her heart skipped a beat at the girl’s expression and she sighed.

If it hadn’t been for her love, she would’ve never tried or wanted to hurt this girl who wasn’t the least bit responsible for anything and was being used just for her powers. However, she was bound by her love and the hatred towards her sister increased so much that she stopped caring about what her actions might result in.

"What are you looking at?" She heard a voice from behind her and Arizona imdiately disturbed the scene in the crystal ball so that the witch couldn’t see what she was doing.

She turned to look at Prakrith, who was gazing at her with a neutral expression.

"What do you an?" Arizona asked.

Prakrith’s gaze darkened.

"You very well know what I am talking about. What are you doing with this family? When are you going to stop? Do you not see what your actions are doing in their lives? Will you take responsibility if Elliana indeed becos evil and takes over the witch kingdom with the hatred brewing in her heart? Do you want to create another Teresa?" Prakrith asked, her inquisitive eyes attacking Arizona where it hurt the most.

The witch queen looked away, ashad.

She had no answers to what Prakrith said and her heart trembled. With her hands clenched by her sides, Arizona raised her hand in the air and let snow fall in the country where humans were wishing for the first snowfall of the year.

"I don’t know, Prakrith. Probably, there is indeed no end because I won’t stop after coming so far," Arizona looked at Prakrith who smiled.

"Why are you smiling?" Arizona asked Prakrith, who smirked and shook her head.

"I don’t know. I just find it funny. You have been observing Elliana from the mont she was born and are probably one of the people who know the true powers she holds inside her. And even after that, you think you will have your happy ending.

Do you think that girl got to know what her father was suffering, she would sit back and watch. Do you think just because you know so forbidden magic, you can beat a pure dark witch who is bestowed with heaven’s rcy and hell’s Paradise?" Prakrith asked, making Arizona square her jaws.

She looked at the witch in front of her for a few seconds, not saying anything.

What Prakrith said was practically true.

Elliana was a force not to reckon with. It wasn’t Arizona’s powers that protected the girl all these years. It was the powers inside her that healed again and again to a point where she beca resistant to most things.

These elents, fire, water, earth, air, and space didn’t co to her by birth.

She built them unknowingly, and the fact alone was enough for the entire witch kingdom to worry about the monster that she was creating.

Elliana might not really be evil, but the emotions she was instigating in that little girl weren’t really good for others.

"Do you think I don’t have a plan for that? I have everything ready. I am not making any blind shots at night. This was a pre-planned scenario," Arizona sighed.

"What do you an? How will you tackle Elliana when she reaches you?" Prakrith asked and Arizona smiled.

"You want to tell you my strategies so that you can go and tell Nathaniel about it? Do you think I am a fool?" Arizona said, and Prakrith stared at Arizona.

"If I had to tell Nathaniel about everything you told , don’t you think the first thing I would tell him would be your location?" She asked.

"I don’t trust anyone -"

Arizona couldn’t complete her sentence when Prakrith scoffed.

"Of course. You can’t trust anyone, but you are fine with trusting Azrael? The one person who took down your own mother?" Prakrith rolled her eyes.

She didn’t wait for Arizona’s answer and vanished into thin air.

Arizona was left with her thoughts once again.

Did she trust Azrael for her plans? Maybe, maybe not.

She sighed and looked at the crystal ball.

The ti was finally coming when their plans would co down to execution and they needed to prepare for that.
