No one said anything for so ti, trying their best to co up with the ideas of the people who might’ve done this kind of horrendous killing.

Whoever this person was, who did this to Madeline, wasn’t there just to kill her. They were there to torture her beyond death. To even make her soul feel the pain.

"Who could be this person?" Azura asked Nathaniel after they watched everything for the second ti, this ti going further to see how Madeline was transported to her room. And surprisingly, it was blurred too.

Nathaniel didn’t say anything. He just stood quiet in the distance.

Pluto, who heard about what they were talking about also arrived at the place and looked at Nathaniel.

"This has to be so very powerful witch who knows the art of ancient manuscripts," Pluto said.

"It can be him too. Sebastian Marino. Isn’t he a vampire prince on whom no witch powers work? Maybe that’s the reason we aren’t able to see who this person is. Because we are looking into the past using our witch powers?" Azura asked, looking at Nathaniel, who was still standing like a statue.

They didn’t know what it was, but from the mont they saw the entire clip, Nathaniel had gone quiet as if he saw sothing that shouldn’t be there.

"Why not your daughter? I saw the ancient manuscript book when I went to warn her about her black flas. She was reading it. You gave it to her, right? She is very well capable of performing black magic. Even if she isn’t aware of it, her powers, who can’t see her in pain, can do it. This won’t be the first ti they acted on their will. Rember the last ti they killed five vampires and how brutal that was?" Pluto said, observing how Nathaniel’s hands clenched.

Azura looked at Nathaniel. She was hoping for him to defend her daughter like he always does with facts since he was the only one here who truly knew her.

However, when she didn’t see him making any comnt or move to clarify it, her heart thumped loudly.

Her fingers trembled at the thought of her innocent daughter doing sothing like this.

They were dark witches and were known for their inhumane and tragic practices of magic and sacrifices that included various killing styles, but... this wasn’t what they would want anyone to do.

"She was there," Nathaniel said after a long drawn-out pause.

Azura closed her eyes in regret for a brief second before looking at Nathaniel.

"What exactly did you see?" Azura asked.

"I don’t know. I just felt her vibes there, and her ring was in the corner near a tree," Nathaniel pulled out the ring that he retrieved a few minutes ago when he had excused himself for a bathroom break.

"But that doesn’t assure that she is the one who killed Madeleine, right?" Azura asked with hope glinting in her eyes.

She didn’t want to see her daughter as a killing monster and punish her for killing a human so brutally as the queen of the dark witches she was.

"Just because she is your daughter, I hope you won’t be biased about her, Queen Azura. She has killed people before too. And I assure you, when her powers take over her, it’s not a very good sight," Pluto looked at Nathaniel.

"Let’s not forget how she murdered Prince Harry in the backyard of the royal vampire kingdom. She has always been gutsy like this," Pluto reminded them of Elliana’s past actions, and Nathaniel felt even more torn.

Was it really her?

The words of Madeline’s murder were already spread like wildfire. If Elliana was the one who did this, it wouldn’t be long before people would co for her.

anwhile, in the Black Skull Palace, Sebastian entered the room after taking a long calming shower. Having his wife sll the scent of blood on him was the last thing he wanted.

He asked Miss Zoya where his princess was, and when she said the princess was in the library, he directly snuck into the balcony through the garden and went straight to the bathroom.

It was a few minutes ago when he heard so noise in the room and knew she was back.

Sebastian looked at the girl, who was leisurely reading a textbook, probably for her exam the next day. He observed her, his gaze stopping at her hand that had weird scratches, the scratches that ca on her hand when she had disappeared for that brief ti.

After having so fun on the hill which included him leaving her in a moaning and aroused ss, they decided to dine in the restaurant and then return to the palace since he had to go to complete the work he left pending. However, due to so changes, they returned without dining. The princess liked the ho-cooked food.

"You still haven’t answered , princess. Do you want to go sowhere before the crowning ceremony? Just you and I?" Sebastian asked, his gaze flickering to her hands again.

It irked him.

She had gone to the washroom when they stopped for dinner. When she didn’t return after fifteen minutes, he went to check up on his princess, but to his surprise, she entered the restaurant from the front gate with so scratches on her hand that she didn’t want him to heal.

For the first ti, she gave him a weird smile and said that those scratches were her winning marks.

When he asked her how she ended up coming from the front gate, she told him that she saw a rabbit, a very cunning and beautiful rabbit. So she ran behind it after jumping out of the window. However, she fell into the forest and got scratched.

He asked her if she wanted him to get the rabbit for her, and she said he didn’t need to worry about anything anymore. The rabbit was dead.

Her words confused him, but he didn’t say anything further since they had to leave quickly.

"I have exams, Mr. Marino. And even though my exams will end in 4 days, I have an experint going on that I can’t leave," Elliana sighed, and Sebastian humd.

"So you are not coming with ?" He asked, grabbing her foot and pulling her all the way close to him, making her gasp when his cold hand landed on the nape of her neck.

"Don’t gasp, baby. It makes want to do things to you," Sebastian said.

Elliana looked away shyly before pushing him gently.

"Stop, I have to study," she whispered.

Sebastian looked at her amused before he captured her lips into a heated kiss, licking her bottom lips. He sucked her like she was the last drop of blood he needed to survive, his hands on either side of her, making her crave his touch.

A smile appeared on his lips when he felt her resolution breaking and her hand reached for his chest.

However, before she could fist his shirt, his phone rang and Elliana imdiately pulled away, making him snarl slowly.

"Don’t," Sebastian warned her to not leave or pull away from the kiss.

"Hello?" He said impatiently and Lucas imdiately knew he interrupted sothing.

"I am sorry, sir, but this is important. It’s about Princess’s sister, Madeline. She is found dead in her room," Lucas said and Sebastian pulled away from Elliana’s lips, his hand still secured around her waist, possessively.

His gaze flickered to Elliana, whose pupils were dilated and brows raised in surprise.

"She is dead? But how?" Elliana asked, and Sebastian sighed.

"ssage the funeral details. We will be there," Sebastian said before he ended the call, looking at the girl with a hint of helplessness.

He was looking forward to making love to her, which he hadn’t been able to since morning. But with this sad news, he didn’t want to appear like a person who only thinks about sex.

His princess was too sweet. Even though that girl only hurt his princess, he knew that she would feel bad for that girl.

"Princess, if you want to go there now -" Sebastian started, but Elliana only looked at him with a suspicious gaze.

"Did you do it?" Elliana asked, surprising Sebastian.
