Screech!!! The car stopped only a few inches away from her, and Elliana’s heart which was pounding in her chest felt like falling into the pit of her stomach.

"Hey! Have you lost your mind?!" She heard the driver yelling, and she was about to apologize when she heard the sound of the door opening and closing.

"Princess Elliana?"

She heard a familiar voice, and she raised her eyes, her gaze eting with Prince Angelo.

"Prince Angelo," Elliana smiled, suppressing all the agony she had felt earlier so that he wouldn’t suspect anything.

"What are you doing here, looking like this?" He looked at her, confused, before he turned to his secretary who was holding the umbrella for him.

"Here, hold this," he gave his watch to the secretary before taking off his coat and placing it over Elliana, pulling her close as he buttoned it before looking at the girl with a helpless smile.

"Don’t worry, I am not going to pry too much," Angelo referred to the questions he asked earlier.

"Thank you," Elliana said and was about to turn around to leave again when Angelo held her hand.

"I am not going to ask you further questions, but that doesn’t an I will let you roam in the rain to get sick. You are our Princess," Angelo said before he pulled her under the umbrella, his gaze holding a soft glint.

"Princess -"

"It’s nothing. I just wanted to walk in the rain. They say it cleanses your soul," Elliana said, looking at the prince with a sheepish smile.

Angelo smiled back.

He wasn’t a fool. He noticed how she was running around as if trying to look for sothing that had been lost until she ended up in the middle of the road.

Her back was facing the car, and that’s why he couldn’t recognize her earlier, but knowing it was her, he couldn’t help but feel curious as to what it was.

"You are already such a pure soul. How much do you want to cleanse your soul?" Angelo asked before he stepped ahead and tucked wet hair from her face behind her ear.

He looked at the strand of her hair that felt so soft in his finger, twirling it around softly with a soft smile before flickering his gaze towards Elliana.

"Oh, I am sorry about that," Angelo said when he realized he was a bit too close to his brother’s wife.

"It’s okay. I just -" Elliana couldn’t complete her sentence when they heard another car screech, and within a second, she was scooped up in soone’s arms.

Elliana blinked her eyes in confusion before she looked at her prince with raised brows.

"Mr. Marino, what are you -"

"Don’t speak, princess. I am barely hanging on a thin thread," Sebastian seethed through his teeth.

He didn’t care that he was drenched in the rain at the mont. He just walked to his car and placed her on the back seat, his gaze flickering to Angelo’s coat that he yanked away from her body, letting the buttons fall on the carpet of the car.

He paused and took a deep breath, placing his forehead on hers for a brief second as if trying to channel her calmness into his body.

He took the cloth in his hand and walked to the prince before pushing it into his hand.

Angelo quirked his brows at the coat and its condition before raising his gaze to et Sebastian.

"Sebastian, can you explain what your wife was doing walking in the rain in the middle of the road?" Angelo asked before Sebastian could accuse anything, and the latter just sighed.

"Thank you for taking care of her when I wasn’t here," Sebastian said before he turned around and left for his car, leaving Angelo standing with his secretary.

"Sir," The secretary said, snapping Angelo out of his thoughts.

"Isn’t my brother a bit too possessive?" Angelo said, his lips turning into a smirk before he walked to his car.

The driver started the car at the sa ti Sebastian’s car started, and Angelo turned to his side, his gaze falling on the girl, who was looking out of the window with a dazed expression on her face.

He didn’t know if it was just him, but she looked really sad, like a princess who needed a prince to save her from whatever pain she was feeling. It surprised him that Sebastian wasn’t that prince for her.

Judging from their relationship it looked like -

Angelo’s thoughts snapped when he saw Elliana turning to Sebastian, clenching her fists in his hair and pulling him close.

Angelo -"..." What the hell? Was she the sa sweet princess he was talking to earlier? And what was his brother doing submitting like that?

anwhile, in the car, Sebastian, who was seething and looking the other way because he didn’t want to hurt his princess, turned to her when he saw that she wasn’t making any move towards him.

He couldn’t believe it. Was she throwing so kind of tantrum?

"Are you not going to say anything? Like what the hell were you doing in the middle of the road in the rain? And why were you not waiting for the car like always?" Sebastian asked, barely controlling his anger.

"Oh? Am I allowed to talk now? I thought I wasn’t," Elliana mumbled without looking at him.

Sebastian gritted his teeth.

"Seriously, princess? You are the one who is wrong here. And rather than telling what you were doing you are -" Sebastian paused when Elliana fisted his hair and pulled him close with a jerk.

"Mr. Marino, I am not in a good mood. I am barely hanging on a thin thread. Let’s skip the questions, yeah?" Elliana said, her eyes raging the sa fire, and Sebastian’s heart imdiately lted.

Lucas and Ambrose, who looked at the scene through the rearview mirror, gulped. "..." Why does their princess act like she is so kind of boss of a gang?

Sebastian pressed the button that imdiately put the partition between them and his subordinates, tinting the windows black, blocking the people from outside to look inside the car.

"Are you angry about sothing?" Sebastian pulled her close on his lap.

Elliana looked into his eyes, trying to tell him all the things she was angry and helpless about.

However, she knew she couldn’t, thus, she resorted to one thing she could use to escape.

"I am angry that because of these exams, I won’t be able to get enough ti with you, and because of your ceremony, you are going to be busy too. You are already so busy, after you beco the king, you will be even busier," Elliana blurted, Sebastian looked into her eyes, sensing genuine sadness, and he sighed, placing his forehead on hers.

"Stupid Princess," he whispered, not saying anything else.

"Your princess," Elliana added, and Sebastian nodded, inhaling her deep intoxicating scent, his gaze falling on the cleavage that she was showing because of her off-sitting position.

"I like the view this way," he said.

"Hmm? What view? Where -" Elliana tried to look down to see what he was looking at, but as soon as she looked down, Sebastian tilted his face and captured her lips in a heated kiss, his hot hands landing on her cold body and clothes, making her want to mold into him as he pushed her backward, making her fall on the seat backward and wrapping her legs around him.

"Mr. Mari- " Elliana moaned in disagreent when she felt his hands moving to her navel and then under her shirt towards her breasts.

"Sshhhh, it will be over soon, I promise," Sebastian said to quieten her.

However, that soon didn’t co until they were back to their palace.
