"What are you planning?" Vincenzo asked her, and she shrugged.

"Take my prize and leave this place?" Elliana said as if it was no big deal.

"And what about Sebastian? He has sent out teams to look for you. What gas are you playing, Glory?" Vincenzo asked, confused by her behavior.

One mont she is as sweet as honey and claims to be madly in love with his brother, and the other mont she acts like she doesn’t care about him at all.

"What about him? Do you think I am in a position to tell him I am Glory? What will he do when he finds out about it?" Elliana asked as she looked down at her feet, drawing circles on the sand with her boots.

Vincenzo looked at the girl and sighed. It was obvious the girl was nervous and probably anxious.

"And till when do you think you can hide it? The truth reveals itself sooner or later, Glory. Don’t you think it’s better if you reveal it yourself then he finds it from soone else? He and I don’t get along, but I can assure you, it will hurt him and probably make him angry if he finds out about it from soone else," Vincenzo said.

Elliana humd. She knew what he was trying to say, but she needed a solid reason and way to reveal it to him. She can’t just go to him and say- hi, I am Glory. Nice to et you.

"He is looking for , right? If he finds , I will tell him the truth, if he doesn’t, I will find him myself," Elliana turned around and walked to the winning stage to take her prize.

She took her trophy and the prize check.

"Aren’t you going to take off your helt?" The host asked, and Elliana shook her head.

"I don’t show my face to people. My outfit is my identity," Elliana replied.

"Would you like to say sothing on the mic?" The host asked the weird girl, and Elliana held the mic in her hand before looking at the other side of the hill.

Though she wasn’t able to see anything, since Prince Vincenzo told her the prince was looking for her there, Elliana sighed.

"I dedicate this win to Elliana. She wins," Elliana smiled before handing the mic back to the host. Since she was wearing a mask and a helt, her voice was hoarse, making it impossible for anyone to detect who she was.

She jumped down from the stage and pushed the trophy into Samantha’s hand and the check into lony’s hand with a smile.

"For you," Elliana winked at Samantha, making the girl’s heart race.

"Stop hitting on our girls, Elliana," Drake seethed through his teeth, and Elliana chuckled at him before looking at Dexter who was looking at her with raised brows.

"You are the most self-obsessed narcissistic person I have ever seen. I hope you know that. You dedicate the success to Elliana?" Dexter mused, and Elliana grinned.

"Well, technically, I can, can’t I?" Elliana’s gaze flickered to Vincenzo, who was standing on the other side of the stage, observing her with a hard gaze.

She knew what was going on inside his head and couldn’t help it smile sheepishly. She shrugged at him, making him shake his head.

"I think I need a Booz to celebrate my freedom," Elliana felt light after the race, and Dexter rolled his eyes when he saw her line of sight stopping at the alcohol on the table.

Since it was hard for vampires to get drunk easily and they drank the liquid just for fun and the taste, there was quite a lot of alcohol on the table.

She moved towards the table, without waiting for anyone’s reply and was about to grab the liquor when Dexter held her hand.

Her friends followed them, quite concerned about her. Her behavior since earlier was peculiarly strange today.

That slide on the track could’ve almost taken her life, but she has been acting like it was nothing. It was obvious from her actions that she didn’t care about money or the trophy. It was all about the race.

"There is no way you are -"

"I went to et my family today, Dexter," Elliana’s words stopped him and his expression imdiately softened. He knew that her family was a sensitive topic for her, and she used to get abused there. Thus, he knew sothing bad happened and probably that was the reason and was so rough on the race track.

However, he hadn’t expected to hear what she said next.

"They... The lady who I used to call my mother tried to rape with a broken broom. Isn’t that funny how inhumane so humans can be?" Elliana chuckled, letting hot tears fall on her mask.

Dexter’s hands froze on hers. What did she say her mother tried to do?

Samantha, who was worried about her too, was about to place her hand on Elliana’s shoulders, but hearing her words, she suddenly stopped.

"What did you say?" Alcinder was the first one to voice out his thoughts, and Elliana chuckled awkwardly.

She looked at them as if she had completely forgotten they were here too.

"I am just kidding. I need a reason to drink. Did this one work?" Elliana grinned through her eyes, but Dexter could see right through her facade.

"Stupid girl, who says things like these?" Dexter pulled her close, going along with her cover-up, and looked into her eyes, his eyes asking one question that he didn’t want to ask in front of everyone - are you okay?

Elliana smiled through her tears and nodded.

"I’ll allow it, but in a limited amount only. I will drop you at your ho. Don’t worry. I’ve got you," Dexter placed his hands on her shoulders and squeezed them to let her know he was there for her.

He knew Elliana wanted to say so much more and share her pain and thoughts with him, but it was all because of their friends that she wasn’t saying anything else.

And as much as he wanted to know what exactly happened, he didn’t want her to reveal everything to others. This was exclusive to him. Her pain, her thoughts, tears, everything should be exclusive to him. As selfish as it sounded, he wanted to be her only friend.

He grabbed a bottle and poured the least strong liquor into a glass for her.

"To Glory?" Elliana asked, and Dexter smiled before wiping her eyes with his thumb since she was still wearing her mask.

"To my strong friend," he whispered as he saw her parting her lips enough to be able to drink the liquor.

anwhile, on the other hill from where the race had begun, Sebastian was standing near the gathering with Prince Stephano when he heard the girl’s voice.

"I dedicate this win to Elliana," Sebastian heard the voice, and his fists clenched.

Glory. Glow. Could they be the sa person who has been hitting on his wife? Sebastian’s gaze darkened.

What are the chances they kidnapped his woman?

"Did she just say Elliana? Our Princess?" Prince Stephano asked.

"My Princess," Sebastian seethed through his teeth before turning around.
