Sebastian sat on the main couch of the living room, looking at the girl in front of him with a suspicious gaze.

It was intriguing and confusing.

Every ti his princess got hurt, the witches got involved in one way or another. He had started to believe so witch was obsessed with his wife, probably the dark witches.

It was the first ti his princess was hurt so much, and no witch showed up even after all the ti. He even went as far as asking his spies to keep a keen lookout for anything happening in the hunter’s Kingdom palace just to be sure, especially that woman who hurt his princess.

Then again, this was probably not the first ti his princess got so hurt in that kingdom. Nothing happened to those people all these years, so it wouldn’t make a difference if nothing happened this ti either.

So what exactly was this all about?

Don’t tell him the witches reacted only when it was related to vampires. Sebastian scoffed before narrowing his brows when he gazed at his princess’s sad face.

If it had been in his hands, he would’ve chopped that woman into pieces.

After asking a few tis, his princess finally opened up about what her stepmother was trying to do with her, and he swore at that mont that he would punish that ugly woman.

Probably not right now because his grandpa would imdiately know and he didn’t want to go to that prison which would take him away from his princess, but he would surely punish her, and it would be soon.

Just one mont. That was all he needed to end her completely and make her atone for her sins. The mont she stepped out of the kingdom, he would attack her in a way that they wouldn’t even realize what hit them and what exactly they did to deserve that kind of death.

His maggots were also waiting for their next prey.

Sebastian’s eyes shone with an evil glint before he cleared his throat when he realized where he was sitting.

It had been exactly ten minutes since the chef and Miss Zoya had been persuading his princess, and he was getting annoyed with her persistence now.

Why? Because her persistence was making him want to force it inside her mouth, and when he would do that, that liquid wouldn’t be the only thing that would go inside her mouth, and that was the last thing he wanted to do to her when she was so deeply wounded.

"Drink this, or we are not leaving, Princess," Sebastian looked at Elliana resolutely, finally standing from his place, and she looked back at him with tearful eyes, making him sigh.

"I swear if there was a kid like you, and they got your tantrums, I will have to hire 10 nannies just for you," Sebastian growled at Elliana in pure annoyance, his comnt making Elliana raise her brows as her heart fluttered at his choice of words.

However, she kept looking at her feet like a kid throwing a tantrum because she was sad.

Miss Zoya looked at Lucas and wriggled her brows, making the subordinate look down and blush like a teenager.

A kid like her? How will a kid like her arrive there? Unless that kid belonged to her... Lucas bit the inside of his cheeks at Miss Zoya’s explanation in his head.

"You don’t have to think about the process if I ntion babies, Lucas. You are such a perverted man," Sebastian comnted before he extended his hand towards Elliana while the subordinate blushed even harder.

"I did not!" He raised his voice defensively.

"Sure," Sebastian rolled his eyes and sighed.

"Princess, I can really do this all day, but then don’t complain that you couldn’t see the race," Sebastian said, and Elliana looked at everyone around her dejectedly.

No one was helping her. It looks like she wasn’t left with no choice.

When Sebastian noticed that Elliana was still looking down at her feet and not proceeding to drink the healing broth the chef prepared, Sebastian sighed.

He understood that the broth didn’t really sll great and was probably bitter than bitter gourd, but it was necessary for her.

"This girl seriously- Everyone, leave the room," Sebastian pressed his lips into a thin line.

He really hated it when he had to force things on her like this, but it wasn’t like she was really leaving him with any choice.

Once everyone left, Sebastian sat on his knees in front of Elliana.

"Princess, please drink it. Don’t make force it into your mouth. You very well know that if I tell you it’s for your benefit and you have to drink it, I will do anything to make you drink it. And when I say anything, I an it," Sebastian grabbed her chin, forcing her to look into his eyes, letting her see exactly how serious he was about this.

"Mmmm!" Elliana moaned when Sebastian rubbed her lips forcefully with his thumb.

"Fucking soft alluring plumps," Sebastian growled, not tearing his gaze away from her lips.

"I will drink it. Give it to ," Elliana said after a long drawn-out sigh.

She really didn’t want to drink it.

After the bitterness in her life, tasting this bitterness was the last thing she wanted, but she also knew she needed to go on that track and race because her body, mind, soul, practically everything desired it.

The sooner she reaches there, the more ti she will have to get ready and participate in the race. Once the event starts, the racers get around 30 minutes to get ready, so she still has enough ti.

She had already ssaged Dexter to bring that kind of outfit for her and talk to the manager to keep her bike ready. She will represent their racing course too like the manager once wanted.

She was done living like a coward. The only thing she needed to protect right now was her secret from Mr. Marino about being a witch, that to be only for 23 days.

Elliana looked at the glass in Mr. Marino’s other hand and practically snatched it before drinking it all in one gulp, shocking Sebastian as he saw her brows scrunching before relaxing.

"So you were capable of doing it all along but you still threw a tantrum? When you were throwing a tantrum, you should’ve continued it till the end, why did you suddenly grab it and drink it?" Sebastian asked her with narrowed brows.

Elliana’s brows knitted in confusion. What was he talking about? Didn’t he threaten her that they won’t leave -?

"Is it because you don’t want to kiss you?" Sebastian looked at her lips before flickering his heated gaze to her eyes.

"Like hell your opinion matters here. I still haven’t gotten even with you for how you ran in another man’s arms when I was standing right in front of you," Sebastian said before he smirked, letting her know exactly what he had in mind for her.

However, rather than saying anything to her or doing anything, he stood and extended his hand.

"Let’s go. We have all the ti in the world to avenge that. Right now, let’s take you to the racing court," Sebastian pulled Elliana up as soon as she placed her hand in his.

"Since you are weak, it’s better you don’t move much. Replenish your energy," Sebastian added.

"Hmm?" Elliana asked, looking at his sharp jaws, distracted.

However, her question was answered by his actions when he bent and picked her in his arms.

"Don’t waste your energy walking," Sebastian said.

"Ohh," Elliana admitted her defeat imdiately and placed her head on his chest, moving her hand around the back of his neck so she could have a better grip while her other hand placed on his beating chest, calming her raging emotions.

Among all the things she suffered in that palace, their decision to change the bride at the last mont was the only thing that actually made her happy and didn’t feel so wrong.

Rather, it was probably the best thing that happened or will happen to her in her entire life. Elliana sighed, closing her eyes, letting his scent make her feel at ho.
