"Are you feeling okay? You took a big toll this ti," Yaretzi walked to her.

Since Elliana was comfortable with Yaretzi as she had trained with her before and the witch was almost on the level of being a teacher, Nathaniel had called Yaretzi earlier to help Elliana ease up.

He can’t co running all the ti when he is trying to figure out the witch who is conspiring against the white witches by unlocking Elliana’s locks one by one.

The main problem was that the cunning witch was so skilled that she left without a trace. And it has happened thrice.

The witch unlocked Elliana’s fourth lock too.

It didn’t have any major difference than her powers refining themselves even more and a bucket load of lies that Nathaniel had to tell Arizona to hide what was going on as he didn’t want her to interfere in Elliana’s life so soon, but it was still worth concerning.

Yaretzi looked at the panting girl in front of her, her thoughts ssed up complicatedly.

She didn’t know if Nathaniel had noticed it, but Elliana’s eyes have started to glow different colors whenever she is feeling the extre of any kind of emotion, and it might beco problematic for her married life with the vampire prince too.

"I am okay," Elliana straightened her back before she tried to stand straight. However, as soon as she stood straight, her legs gave up and she fell on the hard rock, scrapping her knees that Yaretzi imdiately healed with her magic.

This was another thing. Since four of her locks were undone, Nathaniel was afraid that the words of Arizona about the siren coming back would beco true sooner than they could imagine and find a solution.

They didn’t want more people to sll her blood and get attracted to her than they already were.

According to Arizona, it was the siren’s powers that had been keeping her alive, so he was afraid that if the siren would take back her powers, Elliana might lose her life.

"I will try harder this ti, Yaretzi. Just a few more minutes," Elliana stood with her wobbly legs.

She was determined. She was done with people protecting her and risking their peace for her.

The session with Nathaniel two days ago was like an eye-opener, and she wanted to do nothing but take away his pain and erase the kind of painful mory from his mind.

She hurt him and the re thought of her being worse than that and ending up hurting people around her was killing her every second.

"You won’t learn things overnight, Elliana. Your skin is starting to chip," Yaretzi whispered, but Elliana just shook her head and walked to the waterfall.

"Just hold on to for a few more minutes. Please, Yaretzi," Elliana whispered.

She took the support of the stones, using all the strength she could muster to go onto the center region once again and sit right under the waterfall.

"If you must do this," Yaretzi whispered before she raised her hand and ford a fire circle around Elliana’s body, making her hold her breath as a whimper left her mouth before she shut her eyes and joined her hands, concentrating hard on her powers.

"abkühlen" (cool down) Elliana whispered to herself before she faced her hands outwards towards the fire, making Yaretzi smile.

The witch could see it.

The girl was improving with leaps and bounds, but she was still far away from being anywhere near the control level.

"Mmmm! Yaretzi! Hold!" Elliana shouted.

"Elliana!" Yaretzi shouted when Elliana’s control was lost again, and she was pushed further inside, her back hitting the large stones, making her cough blood.

"I am fine," Elliana took the support of the stone, finding it hard to breathe.

She walked out from behind the waterfall, slipping in the process, and Yaretzi held her hand out as the girl flew down towards her.

Elliana grabbed Yaretzi’s hand as she helped her up.

"I guess I am quite worn out now," Elliana whispered.

"Let’s go back now. It’s more than enough for today. If you beco sick, everything will go to waste," Yaretzi said and clicked her fingers, drying Elliana imdiately as they appeared in the middle of her room.

"Now get into the bed and have a good rest," Yaretzi cupped Elliana’s cheeks, the chilled skin, making her sigh.

"Tomorrow we will train near an active volcano, so be prepared," Yaretzi whispered before she vanished into thin air.

As soon as Yaretzi vanished, Elliana threw herself onto the bed and hid under the duvet.

She was pretending earlier.

She was nowhere near good. Her entire body was shivering with the cold, and it almost felt like her head would burst anyti from all the pressure. The ringing and the sound of the waterfall were still echoing in her head and she shuddered.

As her body relaxed into the warmth of the duvet while thinking about all the things she needed to do after getting up, sleep started taking over her slowly, and she snuggled closer to Mr. Marino’s side, smiling at the thoughts of imagining him being there.

anwhile, Sebastian got out of the car and walked inside the palace with a tired sigh.

Though he was tired, his dominance and power were unmatched and everyone imdiately knew the prince had returned even without an announcent.

"I will visit the royal palace tomorrow to give all the details. No, she won’t be coming with . Her exams are nearing. Yes. They are more important. I am tired," Sebastian ended the call before he took a deep breath and looked around.

His cold gaze swept all over the hall, even reaching the dining hall, searching or wanting to feel just one person that reigned over his thoughts and heart these days.

Her sll was quite faint in the palace downstairs, which ant she hadn’t co down from her room for quite so ti.

"I will inform the Princess that you are back, sir," Miss Zoya said, but Sebastian raised his hand in the air to stop her.

He nodded at Lucas to go and have so rest and they would have a eting later before walking to the stairs.

His steps weren’t rushed. He was more patient than he had anticipated himself to be. But then, maybe it was because he knew she was here sowhere, and her scent was comforting him.

With a deep breath, he turned the knob of the door, looking at the ball cuddled up on the bed with a soft smile.

As expected of her.

He took off his mask and kept looking at the bed with a sigh.

He went straight for a shower and once he was clean, he wore his pants, not bothering with a shirt as he loved the feeling of her skin close to his heart.

He wore his half-face mask before he got into the bed and pulled her closer, placing her head on his bare chest. With a gentle pull, he lifted her head upwards so he could see her face.

Her scent wafted through his nostrils as he got further inside the bed and her warmth engulfed him in a holy embrace.

"Mmmm," Elliana moaned, rubbing her face on his chest, just like how he rembered their first night together. She had hugged him brazenly and rubbed herself all over him just like that.

She really acted a lot like a kitten.

"Mr. Marino, you jerk," she suddenly whispered out of the blue, and his lips twitched even more.

"So, I am a jerk?" He shifted so his mouth was close to her ears and her face was placed right under his neck.

"Mmm, you are. How dare you not call even once and now hug in my dreams. You only know how to worry ," Elliana mumbled, still in a daze of her sleep.

She inhaled his scent, getting lost in her dreamy clouds when Sebastian started running his hand up and down her back as he hugged her close. It was really comforting.

"Are you sure I am just a dream though?" He whispered after a long ti, but Elliana didn’t respond. She was fast asleep again.

"Stupid girl, how can you cuss your husband in your sleep? You are just looking for more punishnt, aren’t you?" Sebastian raised her hand as he intertwined his fingers with hers.

He looked at their hands, his heart relaxing under her heartbeat.

Her hand fits so perfectly in his, just like two broken pieces of a puzzle that complete each other and make each other beautiful when they are together.

Damn it.

This felt a bit too good than it should. He sighed, scoffing at his own mushiness.

He kissed her forehead again before closing his eyes, letting a good sleep wash over him after three nights.

She felt like ho, his ho.

’My stupid princess, only mine,’ he whispered.
