’Are you feeling too much pain?’ Elliana heard a voice inside her head. She took a deep breath to not overreact.
For the first ti, rather than being scared of it, she accepted it.
Nathaniel had said sothing about her powers taking the form of another soul and a person as a whole and would need her attention from ti to ti.
It was confusing to her, but she was ready to give it a chance seeing how Nathaniel said these would protect her from all the evil always and would stay with her for the rest of their lives.
He had asked her to na them sothing too which would make the conversation with them easier.
She had thought about one na, but she had been so awkward and shy about it. Like how does she call them? How to approach them herself?
Hello, powers? How are you today? Is the weather in my head space healthy enough for you?
Elliana realized she was spacing out again, and she sighed.
’It’s indeed painful,’ Elliana whispered.
’Are you the powers in my mind who are living inside ?’ She asked to affirm, and she heard a soft laugh in return, making her feel a bit wary.
Hearing soone else’s laugh in your head when you are feeling anything but funny was the last thing anyone would want.
Besides, it was spooky as hell.
’We don’t live in your head, girl. We are you. We are a part of you just like the organs you use,’ the powers said, and Elliana humd, still pretty awkward.
’Do you want to feel good and have sothing to distract you?’ The powers asked, and she humd, unsure of what to expect.
As soon as she humd, she saw the room becoming entirely dark, and the ceiling soon lightened up with galaxy projections all over.
Tiny sparkles scattered all over with weird white and violet colors sprawled all over like a sea of stars.
Elliana looked at the beautiful scene in front of her in awe.
She extended her hands to touch the sparkling things that looked like little stars and squeaked when the sparkles scattered as soon as she touched them.
’Do you like it?’ The powers asked, and Elliana nodded, still in a daze.
It was amazing. It was nothing like she had seen before. A habit she didn’t know ford slowly over ti.
Since she always felt a connection with nature, she used to spend most of her ti in the human palace, looking at the stars at night. Even in the prison until she was shifted, she used to look at the sky through the small window.
But even when she had seen a teor shower in the past, it was still not as pretty as what she was seeing right now.
’This Is beautiful. Thank you for showing this to ,’ Elliana whispered.
’This is the beginning of our journey together. Take it as our gift for you. We will show this to you whenever you want and wherever you want. We will protect you. Please don’t be scared of us. It breaks our heart,’ the powers said, and Elliana humd.
She smiled awkwardly, feeling slightly helpless.
It was easier said than done. It wasn’t sothing you get used to overnight.
Hearing a different voice, talking to yourself even if it’s a different personality, and accepting that you have a different bundle of powers inside you when you have lived your life all alone and hurt. It wasn’t easy.
It was as if the powers felt her turmoil, they took a deep breath and nodded in understanding.
Elliana looked at the galaxy projection to distract herself from the thoughts, her pupils dilating when it felt like a translucent hand-like thing was forming from the sparkling stars.
The hand ca towards her, urging her to place her hand in it.
’It would be hard for you to believe and get used to the fact that you are not a human but a witch. We know it will take you so ti to get used to the truth alone, but you can try, right?
This extended hand signifies that we will always be here, no matter what happens, and even if the world leaves you alone, we will be there for you,’ The powers said.
Elliana felt like she was losing her mind, because she was hearing sincerity in the powers’ voice, and it made her feel relaxed even when they said that they were a part of her.
"Circe," Elliana tested the na on her tongue, and the powers didn’t say anything.
"Do you like it? It’s the na I thought would best suit you. It ans goddess of magic and a bird. I want you to live freely in my mind while setting free when I am in trouble too," Elliana whispered softly.
’Like it? We love it!’ The powers said, and Elliana’s pupils dilated when she noticed the fireworks in the sky ford.
The beautiful colors reflected in her eyes, and the powers looked at the girl. This journey, however long or short it was, won’t be boring for sure.
They looked at the girl, their auras full of serenity.
They noticed, the girl’s eyes drooping softly as her mind started calming, and she started falling into a deep slumber of sleep.
Was this what parental love felt like?
They watched over her, and though they were nothing more than energy bundles since they were taking a form of personality, their emotions were awakening at a much higher rate than they had anticipated.
It was surely a problem for those witches who wanted to take and ta Elliana and use her for their benefit, but for them? They felt happy. They felt connected to this girl, and it was enough.
’I might sing a song for you,

I might cradle you,
If I were your dad, I wouldn’t want to live without you too,
But even if I am not them, I am soone who holds their love in her arms and extends it towards you, can you see my love?’ The powers sang a soft lullaby in her mind, smiling when they saw her smiling.
’Sleep our sweet angel. Sleep and send your worries to sleep too. You have us now,’ the powers patted Elliana’s head through those galaxy stars they had used earlier.
However, that smile soon faltered when their gaze fell on her wounds.
Those bastards dared to hurt her.
They wanted to teach them a lesson, and just because they couldn’t do it since they didn’t want anyone to know who Elliana was and risk her identity, it didn’t an they weren’t angry.
Well, one should always get karma sooner or later. The powers closed their eyes, chanting a spell that Nathaniel would’ve surely scolded Elliana about.
"Diejenigen, die iner Tochter wehgetan haben, werden sterben," they chanted.
