"Hello?" Sebastian picked up his phone when he saw the caller ID, his expression grave, and Lucas looked at his boss through the rearview mirror.
"Well, it’s surprising. I didn’t know you would be the one to pick up my call directly. I thought I’d have to pacify your secretary to let talk to you," the person on the other end said, and Sebastian gazed out of the window with a cold look before ending the call without thinking twice.
Stephano - "..." Did that jerk end my call? Isn’t he growing a bit too rebellious? He gritted his teeth in anger before taking a deep breath.
It’s okay. He shouldn’t mind such small incidents. He should act like the bigger person here since he is his elder brother and the future king.
It will need a lot of patience to keep his anger in control. Let’s start with his brother. Stephano pacified himself and dialed Sebastian’s number again.
Sebastian looked at the number before raising his brows and picking up the call again.
"Hello?" He said again.
"Before you start with your ’don’t waste my ti’ shit, let get straight to the point. When are you coming?" Stephano asked, and Sebastian’s lips twitched.
"Form your questions correctly, brother Stephano. One would think that you actually love and care about ," Sebastian said.
Stephano’s hands clenched around the phone and he took a deep breath again. This was indeed taking a lot of patience and control from him.
"Of course, I care about you," Stephano said with great difficulty.
’Fuck it, he can’t do it,’ Stephano thought before his infamous smirk made its way onto his face.
"But more than that, I think I love the presence and care for your human wife. She is this cute little thing that I want to see again and again. So truth to be told, I am not exactly looking and waiting for you, but your wife," Stephano grinned when he heard Sebastian’s heavy breathing through the phone.
There was just sothing about teasing his little younger brother. It was so much fun that he could never control himself whenever he had the chance.
"That’s great. I’ll relay your ssage to the princess," Sebastian paused.
"Also, please ask your mother to find a girl for you already. Your testosterone is leaking from your mouth, and they are disgusting," Sebastian said in his plain voice.
Lucas and Ambrose bit the inside of their cheeks to control the smiles that were itching on their faces.
"What did you say?" Stephano asked, but rather than answering him, Sebastian ended the call, making Lucas’s face red as he tried his hardest to not laugh.
He looked out of the window and sighed.
"We are here, sir," Lucas said, and Sebastian humd.
He got out of the car, unbuttoning his coat as he looked at the university where his wife must be missing him. His poor cute little kitten, who couldn’t find the courage to complete the sentence she was writing. He sighed, his heart already feeling content being sowhere near where she was.
"Let’s go," Sebastian said and walked inside the University, his strides long yet slow and powerful, excruciating his dominance on everyone who was in a 50m radius as him.
As soon as the guards noticed the infamous masked prince, they imdiately called the principal to inform him of his presence.
"Sir, should we wait for the principal to show up? It won’t look good if we directly go to the third floor to talk to the princess. Besides, it might attract so jealousy and hatred towards her," Lucas said.
"Jealousy?" Sebastian asked.
Lucas - "..." Why are you acting like I have said so foreign word when you are well accustod to it? Don’t you know how famous you are and how many girls would just kill to get a visit from you? And to say you would outrageously visit the princess for the second ti, thus, publicly screaming your likeness towards her if you don’t play your cards right.
"Okay. Let’s wait for the Principal to show up. It’s lunchti anyways, she will show up in the canteen sooner or later," Sebastian said as they went to the main building to sit in the reception area.
At the sa ti, Dexter who was looking for Elliana around everywhere to see where she had gone, quirked his brows when he saw the masked prince walking inside the University.
He was here yesterday too. What the hell he wants? Dexter thought before he rembered that this prince was actually sponsoring the entire biotechnology lab.
"Did you find her?" lony asked, and Dexter shook his head.
"I swear I am going to smack her head as hard as I can without killing her just to ensure that her brain gets to the right place from her knees because the thing inside that skull of hers is definitely not working," Dexter seethed with annoyance, and lony pressed her lips into a thin line.
"Seriously, where the hell is she that her number is also unreachable?" lony sighed.
"I don’t know. I fucking don’t know," Dexter seethed in anger.
Honestly, if it had been previous tis, he wouldn’t have been so angry and worried about her, but after yesterday, her disappearance was bound to make him anxious.
"Hey, I think you need to calm down -" lony couldn’t complete her sentence as the next thing she knew, they heard an announcent on the University’s announcents intercom.
"Miss Elliana from the biotechnology departnt, first year, please co to the reception area as quickly as you can," the announcent said. It was the principal’s voice.
lony looked at Dexter with wide eyes.
"What the hell are you doing? Call her!" lony lost her shit, making Dexter shake his head as her boyfriend walked to her.
"What’s going on?" Drake asked, and lony sighed.
"We can’t find Elliana anywhere, and the principal is calling for her," lony answered.
On the other hand, Dexter, who had seen the prince walking to the reception area, gritted his teeth.
It didn’t need a genius to know who exactly was calling Elliana there. He clenched his hand around the phone as he dialed her number again.
anwhile, on the highway leading to the Vampire kingdom, Alcinder looked at Elliana briefly again.
"So...." Alcinder trailed off when he saw Elliana finally taking off her scarf and wrapping it around her neck.
"So?" Elliana looked at him, her eyes shining brightly, and Alcinder sighed.
He wasn’t supposed to feel like this for this human girl. Sothing was definitely wrong for him to think about it. Alcinder gulped.
"Don’t you have any explanation to do?" Alcinder asked.
"I don’t think so," Elliana shrugged shalessly.
"How can you -" Alcinder paused when they heard her phone ringing, and Elliana looked at the caller ID with a smile.
"Hello? Did you take my-"
"Where the hell are you?" Dexter asked, his voice barely containing the anger and anxiousness he was feeling.
"I... Uh... I am out," Elliana stuttered, and Dexter imdiately knew she was up to no good.
"Well, I don’t care where you are, just know that a masked vampire prince has co looking for you and he is demanding your presence. So you better get your ass moving and co to the reception area," Dexter said.
Elliana froze in her place as she looked out of the window.
She was still half an hour away from the destination. How will she be able to cover this distance?
Since she was sitting with Alcinder, she couldn’t expect any witch to co and help her either. Elliana gulped.
"I... It will take 30 minutes to get there," Elliana whispered.
"30? Okay," Dexter said and was about to end the call when he heard Alcinder’s voice.
"Is sothing wrong?" Alcinder asked.
"So you are not alone, huh?" Dexter’s eyes dropped, and he suppressed the urge to throw his phone away.
"Please handle things. Don’t tell anyone I am out. Just say that I am in the University. It will take them so ti to look into the entire University," Elliana said before ending the call, her hands trembling with anxiousness.
"Alcinder, drive faster than when you drove to that location. Because if I don’t get there in ti, that masked vampire prince will attack again and that’s the last thing I want," Elliana whispered, and Alcinder looked at the girl who was treating him like her personal chauffeur today.
