"Princess?" Elliana suddenly heard Sebastian’s voice, and she paused in her steps.

"Mr. Marino, where are you coming from?" Elliana asked without a thought before realizing her mistake.

"Pardon my rudeness, Mr. Marino," she widened her eyes and looked away, and Sebastian couldn’t help but smile at her from under his mask.

Wasn’t she being cute now?

Asking him about where he went was rude, but asking him to take off his clothes wasn’t? He looked at Elliana observantly, and it was obvious that she didn’t rember anything that she did when she was drunk.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, and Elliana looked up.

"It’s nothing. I just felt like soone was here," Elliana smiled softly at him.

"There is no one here. And even if you heard sothing, you shouldn’t co out like this to check. Don’t you know how unsafe it can be? You should go back to your room and rest. It’s 2 in the morning. Though you are going on a vacation, it will surely be tiring since you are not used to more physical activities," Sebastian looked at her before turning her around with his hand over her shoulders.

He took a step ahead before looking back at the sea with narrowed eyes as he led Elliana back to her room.

It was a close call.

He didn’t want Elliana to walk any further towards the railing, or he was afraid she would’ve seen the sharks that were eating the dead body he threw in the sea a mont ago.

Then again, he was confused about sothing else even more.

Was it just his delusion again?

For a mont when he saw Elliana standing there in a daze, he almost felt like Elliana actually followed the Sirens song.

There was no way the Sirens would dare to call soone from the ship knowing all too well that it is loaded with powerful vampires.

But they still took the risk, and judging from how only Elliana was affected, it was a call for her.

But why?

Why did they risk it so much? Sirens who live in the sea or near seashore are actually known for eating human flesh so it could be assud that they wanted to eat her, but why take the risk?

They must be getting more humans from other ships either way.

Could it be sothing that he isn’t able to see yet? The way Elliana was standing there was -

Sothing was definitely glowing in her chest. Yes. The locket. It was the pendant that was glowing. Was it just because it was the full moon?

Was it just because of the moonlight? It was a silver embroidery, no? Sebastian looked at the girl in his arms, who was walking silently without saying anything, and sighed.

He can’t risk it again. As much as he knows that this day would co sooner or later when Elliana will have to see him in his true form, he still doesn’t want her to fear him because of how rcilessly he kills people.

He can’t let her go before he gets to the throne.

anwhile, Nath, who had closed his eyes montarily, opened them and heaved a breath of relief.

"She didn’t see him. Not did the sirens get to her. For the first ti, I am satisfied with sothing that the leech did," Nath muttered and looked at Arizona, who was still deep in thought.

She must have been startled. Her daughter was almost about to beco the victim of sothing that she doesn’t have any idea about.

"Arizona, are you okay?" Nath asked, his gaze sweeping to all the other witches who were similarly startled.

"Jalizana, you are the witch that rules water bodies. I want you to reduce the shield around Elliana. She is going on a vacation on the Islands and, naturally, she would go into the sea too. If she fell into the water and anyone, especially that prince, noticed the shield forming around her, then she will get into bigger trouble," Arizona ordered.

"But Arizona, what’s the need to reduce the shield? The water still penetrates it, and she gets wet. The shield only protects her from any kind of harm," Jalizana said, and Arizona shook her head.

"I am asking you to reduce the intensity of the shield. He might sense it.

You know that prince is called the most dangerous for a reason. He is part of the vampire prophecy. No one knows what kind and how much energy he possesses. That’s the reason as good as it would be to throne him, his grandfather is afraid that it will lead the vampire species to its doom if they don’t find soone who can calm him," Arizona explained.

"Well, our Elliana is doing a great job in taming the beast then, no? He hasn’t gotten angry in such a long ti, no? Though she was an accidental bride, she -" Kadakali paused when they saw the dark energy around Nath increasing.

"Don’t you ever spout those words in front of again? Elliana is not made to ta that beast. He can die for all we care. The only reason she is living there is because -"

"Nath! Don’t say anything you will regret for the rest of your life," Arizona’s eyes turned violet, and Nath paused before scoffing and taking a deep breath.

"Until her trip is over and she is among such strong vampires, no one will go ho. We need to stay in our zones and keep a keen eye on her. She can’t beco angry and since Arizona shouldn’t calm her, you guys will do it if anything happens," Nath said to the witches, and they looked at each other before nodding.

"I still don’t understand why this human girl is affected by so many species. She has a team of Vampires and wolves, the witches are trying to protect her, the humans are trying to kill her, the sirens want to et her, I won’t be surprised if demons are involved too, and they -"

"That’s because she isn’t human in the first place. And what she is, you better not try to find. The more you try to find, the more you’ll feel you don’t know the entire truth. She is soone you can’t afford to touch," Nath stood from his place and left the eting room.

Arizona took a deep breath and looked at the girl who was smiling without a care in the world at her so-called husband.

It was true. She was soone they can’t afford to touch. If anyone, including Elliana and the powers inside her, found out exactly what her existence ans to this world, it will start a supernatural war.

And the war would be between Elliana and witches and the rest of the world, and Arizona still knows very well that they would win, just because Elliana would be on their side.

That’s how powerful she was.
