The two matillo homunbis ca rushing at both of them, from the two sides. Luke held on with his palms and Raguel used the flat part of his sword to hold the other.
"I’m sorry, but It’s getting annoying." Luke said to Raguel.
Raguel didn’t understand what Luke ant, but before he could say anything, Prana rushed to Luke’s gauntlet and he punched at the top of the spinning Matillo homunbis.
The strike pushed her down inside the ground as she imdiately unfurled and vomited out blood.
Luke imdiately jumped towards the other one that Raguel was holding and punched her hard too. The sa scene unfolded again as she too laid flat on the ground.
"Break the stones! I’ll hold the others." Luke then turned around and moved his arm forward, taking the claw strike from the raven homunbis who was about to strike.
Raguel didn’t waste ti, instantly two rays of light ca out of his diamond shaped mark and broke the two small mana stones on the heads of the matillo homunbis.
CLANK!!
The sharp nails of the wolf homunbis were about to strike at Luke when Raguel ca in between and defended with his sword.
Luke then used his other arm and gripped the tarsus of the Raven homunbis and threw her in an arc towards the ground. She slamd on the ground hard, but Luke didn’t stop and pulled her up and slamd her again. This ti she didn’t move, her wings twitched as she laid flat on the ground.
"Break the stone." Luke then instantly moved towards the wolf homunbis and punch hard at her face.
She slamd on the ground on her face while the body swung up because of the montum and then fell later.
Raguel then broke the stones on both of the homunbis and finally all four of them were subjugated.
But they didn’t even get a second to take a breath as a huge fireball was coming towards them. the five dark wizards had combined their mana to shoot that huge fireball so as to end both of them while they were busy dealing with the homunbis’s.
Mana gathered in his hand as Raguel casted a runic magic circle on the ground in front of them. A huge stone wall of about twelve feet jetted out from the ground.
The fireball hit the wall and blasted on impact, making a large hole in the wall. A mana shield was casted by Raguel protecting them from the flying debris from the wall.
After the dust settled, they saw the dark wizards were gathering their mana together to fire another powerful spell at them, but just then loud banging noises started coming from the door behind them.
BOOM!!
The tal door was blasted open as the door flew away, taking two dark wizards with it and squishing them under the weight.
A huge pressure fell on everyone present, the intense bloodlust releasing from inside the room was suffocating them.
A wave of fire gushed out, engulfing the dark wizards inside it. Luke and Raguel were at a distance as the fire didn’t reach them, but the heat could still be felt.
Smoke filled the region as nothing could be seen inside. When the smoke dissipated outside the door, the charred bodies of the wizards could be seen, burned to a crisp, as they couldn’t even move a muscle and died standing on their spot.
A huge grey furry hand with dark grey fingers held the door fra, and from withing the smoke a head ca out growling, with his canines out from the protruded jaw.
Luke and Raguel were shocked seeing the huge seven ters beast as they got a clear look at it when he moved out of the room.
"Fuck. That’s a silver backed Kong, isn’t it?"
Raguel nodded. Tension rose inside him. a trace of fear was gripping his mind as the intense bloodlust and pressure was suffocating their senses.
"It really is a disaster class. We have to run. Only sixth circle and above are able to pick a fight. We’ll be swatted away like a fly." Raguel warned.
"W-what is that?" asked Luke as he got confused when he saw sothing unusual in the chest of the beast.
Raguel’s eyes glowed white as he looked carefully when Luke pointed out. He was shocked when he discovered what it really was.
"T-That’s the face of a woman."
"What do you an?" Luke looked weirdly at Raguel. He thought he heard him wrong.
"It really is a woman. She is fused with the beast. But the weird thing is that...there are four souls trapped inside that beast. if the Kong and the woman are two souls, what about the other two?"
As if to answer Raguel, a snake like head ca out from behind the Kong.
"An Imoogi!" Luke gasped in surprise. He had fought one before and knew its dangers.
"That’s weird though." Raguel said as his brows furrowed.
The Imoogi was not a separate entity, it was fused with the Kong and was acting as a tail for it, though an alive one.
"So that’s the third soul." Raguel nodded in understanding.
"LUKE!" just then Layla and Adam arrived at the scene. He rushed towards them, but then her eyes fell on the huge beast in front and her mouth opened wide in shock as she froze on the spot.
"Is that..."
"A modified beast. combining a silver backed Kong and an Imoogi." Luke explained.
"What is that?" Layla asked in surprise when she saw the face of the woman on the Kong’s chest.
"She seems to have fused with the beast’s sohow." Raguel said.
Just then Adam walked pass them, moving forward with slow steps. His brows furrowed as he tried to take a clear look at the beast.
His eyes opened wide as tears started flowing out of them. he staggered and slumped down on the ground, falling on his knees.
"No...NO!!! I-It’s not real...It can’t be happening. Why? WHYYY!!!!" Adam scread in agony, he started whimpering, tears flowed out without a stop.
"I-Is she..."
"T-That’s Nina...my wife."
