"Just six of you? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" The leader burst out laughing. The air was filled with their laughs as all the mbers joined him, except the assistant beside the leader.

"Is this the state of yours? You can't even gather 100 mbers?" The leader scoffed, his belly still shaking from the laughter. "Look at them! they want to conquer the territories of the outer regions like this." He jeered at Zankoku, eliciting more laughs from his mbers.

"Just three of us would have been enough for you bottom feeders. But you see…I was infuriated at your daring. And since its an order from my liege, I had to pull out my katana today." Zankoku said in a low raspy voice, hiding the fury underneath.

"End this fast. We have to drag out their coward leader too." The leader sneered, spoke over his shoulders as he commanded the lackeys behind him.

With deafening screams, the gang mbers rushed forward with their weapons raised high, smirks filled with maddening excitent plastered on their faces.

"I'll increase your training routine 10 tis, if you fail to kill less then 100." Zankoku looked towards Haruto, speaking through gritted teeth, his eyes spitting fire, taken over by fury hearing the insulting words towards As from the opposing leader.

"Y-Yes master." A chill went down Haruto's spine. He had accepted Zankoku as his master and was training under him. The training was already unbearably tough. If it increased tenfold, he would die without a doubt.

His gripped his katana tight. Knees bent as mana gathered around his feet and the blade. In an instant, He vanished from his spot, leaving a trail of lighting in his path.

"Zapping slash!"

More than ten heads rolled down on the ground. A net of lightning fell on the bodies, charring them black as the clothes burned. Haruto appeared with crackles of lightning around him. He swung his katana down, removing the blood stuck onto his blade.

The smirks of the gang mbers, was being ripped off from their faces. Their feet halted abruptly. Sweat trickled down their foreheads. Their excitent vanishing. Fear had now gripped their senses, their legs refusing to lift themselves.

"Block their escape route." Just as Lamia said, Shatun gave an evil smile. He jumped in the air. With a humongous leap, he appeared on the other side as the ground shook, webs of cracks spreading below his feet.

"What a feast!" Shatun grinned from ear to ear, his mouth watering as he stared at the mbers in front of him.

Color drained from their faces when they saw his greedy eyes, looking at them as if they were his food.

Carmilla waved her hands forward. Mana gathered as the blood drained from the bodies lying lifeless on the ground. The blood then collected and ford a huge crescent blade.

She thrust her palm forward as the blood crescent blade zood forward. The gang mbers pulled their weapons and shields forward, hoping to defend against the attack. But the blade effortlessly passed through, like knife cutting through butter.

Blood gushed out like a fountain. The upper half of the bodies slid off and fell on the ground with loud thuds. A wave of fear and death spread. More than a hundred had fallen within a minute. The surviving mbers were scared shitless, their knees wobbling, about to give up.

CLANG! CLANG!!

All of their grips loosened as the weapons fell on the ground. They turned around and started running back, screaming in fear.

CHUCK! CHUCK! CHUCK!

Water arrows pierced through from the back of their heads, killing them instantly as the bodies fell face flat. Akari had struck silently.

The ground was soaked red with blood. The leader was finally aware of the huge mistake he had done. His face was drained of color, feet glued to the ground, his knees gave up as he fell on one knee. Guilt, regret and despair had overtaken his senses.

"Leave so for big brother Shatun. I still need 20 more!" Haruto begged as Shatun was swiping the battlefield clean, biting heads off.

It was a complete massacre, pools of blood had ford in the street, bodies had piled up into a mountain. the 500 n that had marched pridefully, were now reduced to just two. The kneeling leader and the shaking assistant beside him.

With slow but heavy steps, Zankoku walked through the street. His every step splashing blood around that had pooled on the ground. He pulled his katana out and rested it on the leader's neck.

"Just a asly worm, and you dare to mock the dragon. I though my blade wouldn't be able to drink any blood today, but your mockery towards my liege is unforgivable. Tell if you have any last words." Zankoku looked down at him scornfully, his anger still burning.

"J-just who are you people?" the leader asked in his shaky voice, he couldn't believe a group of people that had just arrived in this lawless city, were such monsters in hiding. If he knew, he would have never poked at them alone.

"We are the Demons parade."

SHING!

With a clean strike, the head rolled. His headless body slowly tilted sideways, falling down as blood gushed out, forming another pool.

"P-Please d-don't kill . I never wanted to c-co here. I even asked him n-not to do this. Please, s-spare ." The assistant fell on Zankoku's feet. He grabbed his leg, tears flowing down uncontrollably, whimpering as he pleaded for his life.

"If you tried to stop him, you should have been successful in doing so. It's too late for regrets now." Zankoku said sternly, his gaze cold. He lifted his katana for a swing, ready to cut his head off.

"I know everything about the bloodbands, even the leader tiger and the inner zone. I-I'll tell you everything, please spare ." He hurriedly spitted the words out.

"Stop Zankoku!" Lamia bellowed.

The blade stopped just at the neck, pressed firmly against the exposed skin, the pressure just enough to make a pinprick of crimson well up.
