HISSSS!!!

The serpent started slithering towards them, while they laid withering on the ground in pain. the poison had started numbing their bodies and they were not in the condition to retaliate.

Vanter and Jordan stood up gingerly. They picked up their axe and shield from the ground, ready to rush at their teammates anyti.

"What are you two doing? You’re not in the condition to fight right now!" Ruby chided the two of them.

"H-How can we...stay still, when our c-captains and friends are in t-trouble." Jordan said, sohow forcing the words out, with his chest held, which was yet to heal.

"You’re right f-for the first ti...weakling." Vanter said with a smirk.

"What can you even do? You’re just going to die in this condition!"

"What do you want then!?" Vanter yelled out. "Should we just watch while that serpent eats all of them?"

"I’ll go. I have to save my brother anyway. And I’m not injured." Ruby said with a determined look.

"Oi you bastard! Co here you fucker!!" While the two of them were arguing, Jordan shouted at the serpent and threw a stone, which fell right beside it’s eye, gaining its attention.

Ruby and Vanter looked at Jordan with eyes wide open in shock.

"What? We can’t save them all...at the s-sa ti. we need to g-get its attention." Jordan said.

They couldn’t even deny what he said. With a helpless sigh, they took their stance, ready to stop the serpent that was now charging at them with its sharp fangs out.

"I’m sorry for deaning and troubling you all this ti Jordan." Vanter said.

"It’s alright. We all make mistakes. I forgive you." Jordan said with a smile.

"We’re not dying you bastards! Try to stop it." Ruby scread at the two of them, seeing them speaking as if this this was a final goodbye, and they’re going to die.

Jordan held his shield tight and bend his legs, bracing for the impact. Vanter gripped his axe and waited for the serpent to arrive while Ruby casted a mana shield in front of them.

Just when the serpent was about to reach them. the three of them heard a sonic boom in the sky. But before they could move their heads up for a look. Sothing crashed in front of them on the ground as dust flew around everywhere.

The serpent’s pupils constricted and it stopped its charge imdiately. It hissed and rose up, moving its body back. It froze on the spot and didn’t move. fear could be seen taking over its senses.

The dust started settling down, and a figure appeared standing in front of them. His black jacket fluttering in the wind along with his amber hair. Two huge black tal gauntlets with horns jutting out of the elbows and knuckles could be seen adorned on his arms as tal scales from the gauntlets moved up, covering his chest and neck.

"LUKE!" Ruby exclaid. A wide smile spread on her face seeing him standing tall in front of her.

"I’m sorry Ruby. I got a bit late." Luke said over his shoulders.

HISSSS!!! The serpent hissed at Luke. it was afraid to move closer, Its senses were screaming about a danger right in front of it. But drunk in victory and refusing to show weakness, it hissed in challenge.

"Let deal with it first." Luke said and turned his head, Looking right into the serpent’s eyes.

An intense pressure released from Luke, directed at the serpent. The pressure was so heavy that it suffocated even the three of them behind him, though not being targeted at them.

The serpent shrieked back. Its head dropped down on the ground. The pressure was inducing an unknown fear from the depth of his soul. But its senses clouded with arrogance, denied it and felt the pressure challenging its authority.

It hissed loud and opening its jaw wide rushed at Luke, intending to devour him whole.

"Fool." Luke scoffed. Seeing the serpent rush at him even after sensing his dragon pressure.

"Limit break." The tattoo behind his back glowed and the ring ca out behind his back, glowing bright amber with a tint of red and now a yellow too. Strands of his hair changed into fire. Prana started collecting on his fist, and concentrated into a molten lava like form.

"Goodbye." Luke swung his fist forward. The prana ford a huge fist of fire about ten feet in size as it rushed at the serpent, destroying the ground along its way, forming a trench.

The serpent finally realized what blunder it had committed. The pupils went large as death approached it. But there was no way to turn back now. the prana fist hit its jaw, breaking the fangs, moved inside through the mouth and ripped the whole serpent in half, passing out of the tail and burning a few tulips as it separated the water in the pond along the path of the punch.

The two separated half of the serpent fell on the ground. Burnt sll drifted off in the air as its body was charred black in the inside. a long and huge trench had ford on the ground along the path Luke’s prana fist passed through and the waves in the pond were yet to settle down.

The three of them were blown off. Their jaws almost hitting the ground and eyes wide open in shock.

"I-Isn’t he t-too fucking...overpowered!?" Vanter exclaid.

"I-Is he really Luke?" Ruby was dumbfounded. she couldn’t believe what she just saw in front of her eyes.

"What kind of training have you all done after the Imoogi fight? Did you all take so special potion? Luke seems to take most of them though." Jordan blurted out whatever ca in his mind.

The three of them were shocked. The beast that they all were struggling to even put up a fight, was killed in one shot by Luke. This was even a disaster class, not so killer class beast.
