My na is Jing Jingyao, I’m five years old this year, and I’m an explosively cute and adorable girl~

Eh? Why describe myself this way? This is what Aunt Ran always says when we et. Every ti her round little face shows a smug, proud expression, it makes feel imnsely proud.

Although I don’t really understand what "even I have a day to squeeze soone else" ans.

So please allow to introduce myself first~

My mom is called Tang Shu, and she, um, she has many titles. She’s a killer in black, a cold beauty from the Unconcerned Jianghu, a savvy entrepreneur from the ’80s, a cheongsam expert from the Republic of China era... Oh, I can’t keep count!

What else is there? Oh oh, there’s also the overly dramatic little white lotus!

What is a white lotus? Is it different from those translucent pink snow lotuses at Grandpa Xu’s house?

The brothers and sisters online say it’s my mom’s infamous history when she debuted, and they frequently use the little white lotus to remind everyone that people shouldn’t forget their roots.

Not to ntion, it looks quite pretty and is nothing like the mom at ho. I’ve decided to keep it forever (shh~ don’t tell anyone).

It’s said that my mom had during a trip, while she was having an acting showdown with Aunt Tong Tong in a movie called "Unconcerned Jianghu." As for who won in the end?

"The true essence of a side character is being understated, the real side characters exist to highlight the main character. Obviously, I lost," is what my mom said while patting her flat tummy as she answered nurous reporters’ questions.

However, things didn’t go as planned. That year, the best actress award was a tie, and she managed to turn a supporting role into a lead. Because of this, the brothers and sisters online mocked the situation for quite a while, naming it "the old man’s major flop event."

Old man? Yet another bizarre term, as strange as those titles my mom has.

My dad’s na is Jing Yu, and he only has one title, which is just the plain and ordinary boss of a company.

This is definitely considerate of my mory! For this reason, I’ve decided if I ever get lost, I will imdiately tell the police officer who my dad is.

Who in my family is the most formidable? Of course, it’s Dad! Every ti I get into trouble, he always manages to sort things out with Mom like it’s a piece of cake.

So, from a young age, I ca to a conclusion: having many titles doesn’t necessarily an being formidable, clench little fists!

My grandpa isn’t ho often, the one who spends the most ti with is my beautiful grandma. She always holds and teaches to recognize musical notes, and she said that she nad , saying I’m a beautiful jade like her.

My grandma from the maternal side is also a beauty. Grandpa Xu treats very well and often buys all kinds of small pillows for . Of course, my favorite is the Demon Child Nezha doll because the little bun on his head is just like mine!

My uncle Qianyun is often too busy to be seen, but he always shows up at ho on weekends to take to the amusent park. I asked him why he’s so busy, and he boldly said it’s to earn money for my milk formula.

Nonsense, I stopped drinking milk formula long ago.

There is also Aunt Qianyu at ho. When she sees Mom, she usually snorts, but whenever she sees , her face looks unnatural. I always feel like she’s about to pinch my face, just like Aunt Ran.

Oh, and Aunt Luo often cos to our house, she’s kind of ill-tempered. They say when Mom ca back from traveling while pregnant with and announced she couldn’t spare ti for other film groups and variety shows apart from dramas, she almost set the villa on fire out of anger.

Getting angry enough to spark fire?

Ugh~~ The world of adults is really complicated.

Oh, gotta stop talking, Mom is calling !

***

"Jingyao, are you ready?"

Tang Shu’s voice ca from outside, and soon after, the little bedroom door was opened, revealing a round little head.

"Mom, I’m all set, nothing is left behind!"

Tang Shu squatted down to et the gaze of the neatly grood little girl, whose face sowhat resembled hers, full of innocence, yet there was a hint of mischief in her big dark eyes.

"Today is your first day at kindergarten; I’ve already taken care of the paperwork for you yesterday. If there’s any problem, you can ask the teacher to solve it, understood?"

"Got it, Mom, I’ve morized it all."

"Okay, let’s head to school."

"Where’s Dad?"

"Dad is coming with to drop you off, then he has to go to work."

Hand in hand, the big one and the little one walked out of the Jing Family house, and soon, a private car drove out from Palm Pavilion, heading towards a nearby kindergarten.

Jing Jingyao was as well-behaved as could be, looking curiously with wide eyes at the scenery outside, filled with anticipation.

"Mom, will the other kids play with ?"

"Of course, but you’re not allowed to bully others."

"I won’t bully anyone, Mom, you’re being biased."

"..."

Tang Shu twitched her mouth, recalling the poor kids from the neighbor’s house who were a few years older yet were bullied to tears.

Right, you’re not bullying them; you’re just habitually crushing them with your intellect, regardless of whether they’re your age or older.

She suddenly worried about the endurance capacity of the kindergarten teachers.

"You need to get along peacefully with the other kids. If there’s a disagreent, you can take note and think about it more, but no hitting, okay?"

"Okay, Mom."

Jing Jingyao’s eyes lit up and she promised. Tang Shu swore it wasn’t because she was looking forward to eting new playmates, but because she finally found sothing to do to cure her boredom!

Before she could say anything more, Jing Yu, who was driving, cleared his throat and looked over from the rearview mirror.

"We’re at the kindergarten. I’m sure our Jingyao can handle her relationships with her classmates well."

"Of course, Dad, don’t worry!"

Once Tang Shu opened the car door, the little girl eagerly hopped out of the car. Before leaving, she didn’t forget to wear her pink backpack, which she had stuffed full.

Tang Shu quickly followed behind, and as her phone rang, she was on a call while the little girl already dashed into Jing Yu’s embrace.

"Dean Liu? You’re referring to the dicinal formula involving Moon-facing Grass? Yes.... Adding so sharp grass can reduce its potency..."

Little Jing Jingyao listened quietly for a while, then softly leaned over to whisper in Jing Yu’s ear.

"Dad, is Mom’s title changing again, this ti to a lifesaving doctor?"

"...Yes."

"Wow, all these fancy titles. Grandpa said that a person should stay grounded. Did Mom get a lot of beatings from Grandpa growing up?"

"..." Actually, it was your dad who got beaten up a lot by Grandpa.

Jing Yu tidied up his daughter’s clothes that had curled up due to walking, "There’s only fifteen minutes until class starts. Do you rember the classroom we visited yesterday? It’s the sa one. If you need anything, you can call Dad."

"Okay, Dad."

As the kindergarten teacher appeared at the door, the little one waved excitedly in their direction, heading off with the teacher without a backward glance.

"Whose temperant does this child take after?"

Tang Shu swore she was not that naughty when she was young.

Jing Yu smiled and repeated word for word what their daughter just said, unsurprisingly watching his wife’s face darken a shade.

"Madam Jing, how do you feel about your beloved little girl becoming your biggest critic?"
