Chapter 104: 103. Acupuncture?! Chapter 104: 103. Acupuncture?! Due to following different ntors, the students were all wearing white lab coats, trailing behind their respective teachers in groups of twos and threes, extrely busy.

“Doctor! There’s been an accident at the Cross-sea Bridge, and there are seven or eight more injured people who need to be accommodated!”

The ergency room was a hub of activity unlike any other departnt, instantly drawing everyone’s attention.

Amidst an urgent cry, four people had just spotted Doctor Zhang when their attention was suddenly drawn to a group of people that appeared behind them.

The main doors swung open, admitting four or five injured patients covered in blood, including elderly and middle-aged individuals, as well as a pregnant woman and a child.

“Where’s the doctor? We need ergency treatnt now!”

Several doctors who were coordinating at the nurse station imdiately set down their work and rushed towards the entrance.

“Everyone, co and help! This one goes to the ICU first!”

“Excessive blood loss, go for a transfusion first!”

“Bring the stretcher!”

Tang Shu and the others exchanged glances, following behind Doctor Zhang to tend to the injured. One bloodied patient after another ca through the door, indicating just how severe the traffic accident was.

Almost all of the staff mbers in white lab coats went forward to et them, following the doctors’ instructions to take the patients to different places.

“Lin Miao, bandage this lady!”

“Okay, Teacher.”

“Tang Shu, stop the bleeding!”

“Leave it to .”

By the bedside, Tang Shu folded the dical record book a few tis and stuffed it into her large white pocket, quickly examining the heavily pregnant woman in front of her, her hands now acquiring several hemostats and so gauze.

“You, go help too!”

She and another nurse bandaged the pregnant woman’s leg wound, which was bleeding uncontrollably. Despite their swift actions, they could not stop the flow of blood.

“What should we do? This won’t do; we can’t stop the bleeding, and she’s pregnant!”

After carefully handing over another patient who had sustained a head injury, Doctor Zhang rushed over upon hearing the shout.

“What’s happening?”

“The patient is a pregnant woman in her eighth month. She’s now unconscious, and her leg injury is severe; we can’t stop the bleeding. Use of dication could harm the fetus.”

The nurse, clutching gauze helplessly, looked visibly anxious.

Compounding injuries are the last thing a patient needs, especially a pregnant patient on dication.

Doctor Zhang’s face instantly darkened, his eyes staring grimly at the fresh red blood seeping through the white gauze.

“We have no choice but to take her to the operating room now.”

The pregnant woman had lost consciousness, her waters had broken, and at this mont, a cesarean section was the only option.

But the incessant bleeding from her leg…

“I’ll do it.”

Just when people were unsure of what to do next, Tang Shu’s clear voice rose, carrying a reassuring power.

Doctor Zhang looked at her, “Do you have a solution?”

“Acupuncture.”

Tang Shu rapidly identified several acupoints on the woman’s lower leg, and the speed of bleeding visibly slowed down a bit.

This undoubtedly gave Doctor Zhang a glimr of hope.

Before he could express his relief, he saw the young trainee open a small package on the bed, revealing a shimring silver needle.

Tang Shu quickly picked up a needle and flicked it, looking up to signal.

“Teacher Zhang?”

The other party looked surprised, paused for a mont, “How confident are you?”

“Eighty percent.”

“Begin.”

Without hesitation, Tang Shu inserted the silver needle into one of the pregnant woman’s acupoints, followed by a second, a third…

The nurse nearby, unsure of what to do, seed to forget how to respond, staring with her mouth agape at the astonishing scene unfolding before her.
