Liu Lawyer was staggered by the sudden slap across his face. He had just regained his balance when he saw his wife charging towards Jian Hongi, grabbing her by the hair and yanking her up from the sofa.
Jian Hongi had no ti to react to what was happening. She only felt a stinging pain on her scalp, followed by a flurry of slaps across her face.
The stinging pain brought Jian Hongi back to her senses. She had lived a pampered life for so long and had never suffered such humiliation before. She let out a shriek and reached out to grab the other woman's hair.

Xiao Fang struggled to free her restrained right hand while using her left hand to yank Jian Hongi's hair harder, causing Jian Hongi to howl in pain.

Jian Hongi was startled by Liu Lawyer's shout and stood motionless.
Xiao Fang, however, did not respond to Liu Lawyer at all. He thought she was just shocked by his outburst and took a deep breath, intending to console her.
But upon closer inspection, he noticed a pool of fresh blood seeping from the back of Xiao Fang's head. She lay there with her eyes closed, her chest rising and falling faintly.
Liu Lawyer's heart sank as he crouched down, feeling for her breath. It was very faint, but she was still breathing.
"Xiao Fang, Xiao Fang, what's wrong? Quick, call an ambulance, call an ambulance!"
Jian Hongi stood there, unmoving. Liu Lawyer looked at her frantically, pleading, "Madam, Madam, please help call 120 (ergency services). She can't die!"
