Chapter 265 – Are you jealous? (1)
The two kids had a lot of fun in the bathtub. Bored, Yan Shuyu picked up the phone and called up the boss via video chat.
Unfortunately, the boss seed to be working. When Yan Shuyu saw the boss put down his pen, stood up, looked outside of the window, and got ready to relax, she felt very comfortable. “Let show you the two happy ducklings. Tah da da~~”
The cara angle changed and the two boys having mad fun in the bathtub abruptly appeared on the screen.
The “ducklings”, “……”
They might be very comfortable being their true selves in front of Yan Shuyu, but being seen to be so childish in front of Uncle Zhou / Daddy was very embarrassing. Both of them blushed and buried their heads into the bubbles.
The two who were causing a ruckus just a minute ago had, all of a sudden, turning into little pitiful boys. Feeling unjust, Yan Shuyu said from behind her cellphone, “Why did you stop? Keep battling each other. Don’t you want to say hi to Uncle Zhou?”
Even as she said that, the little kiddos still pretended to be good little boys in front of the boss. Yan Shuyu was speechless and Zhou Qinhe, on the end hand, even more so. Stroking his own forehead, he finally said, “Yanyan, the temperature is cold. Don’t let them spend too much ti in the bathtub. They will catch a cold.”
Yan Shuyu must lant that the boss was much sterner when it ca to child-rearing. He’d even notice such minor details. She agreed with him nevertheless ,so she gave the kids the ultimatum. “Did you hear that? You have five more minutes to get out of the tub.”
Even without that ultimatum, the little kiddos would have started seriously scrubbing themselves in order to maintain their nice image in Uncle Zhou/Daddy’s mind.
Seeing that her son was the first to get out of the tub, Yan Shuyu quickly hung up with the boss and helped with drying and clothing her son.
She quickly dried her son and put him in a new set of fuzzy pajamas – much like the situation of her closet, little kiddo Zhang Yuanbao, too, has half a closet full of new clothes. The other half was occupied by his little brother’s new clothes.
Zhang Yuanjia stood next to his mother and waited after he was done. The little young master, who had been squatting down in the water, stood up as well. He reached out his arms as though he had been waiting for a long ti. Yan Shuyu grabbed another towel and quickly got him out of the tub. Before long, a fuzzy little male lead was also standing next to her.
After they had finished bathing, the two little kiddos still didn’t want to leave the bathroom. Their hair was wet when the two were playing in the bathtub. Yan Shuyu had no choice but to pull out the hairdryer and had the two children sit side by side so she could dry their hair for them.
After they have bathed and their hair dried, Yan Shuyu could finally send them back to their rooms.
Their two rooms were adjourned and there was even a little living room inside that had been converted into a children’s room. It was thickly carpeted and filled with toys and comic books. Both Zhang Yuanjia and Yue Zhuo expressed that they were not tired and wanted to stay there and play. Yan Shuyu agreed to their request.
“Your beds are ready. Go to bed when you are done playing. If you are afraid, you two can sleep together. Okay?”
Zhang Yuanjia and Zhou Yi exchanged a look and both said at the sa ti, “Okay!”
Yan Shuyu happily went back to her bathroom. She enjoyed a nice and long bath and even used the jets on the tub. By the ti she ca out of the bathroom, the kiddos were already rolling in her bed yawning while holding onto their respective little pillows. When they saw her, they imdiately went up and grabbed her arms. “Mommy/Aunty Yan, we want to sleep with you.”
As surprised as she was, looking at the two delicate little faces and the very big and wide new bed, Yan Shuyu finally nodded and said, “Okay, but just this one ti.”
The little kiddos imdiately put down their own pillows. This was not the first ti the three of them slept together and they have both placed their pillows on each side of the big pillow. Their intention was obvious – both of them wanted to sleep next to Yan Shuyu.
Once they had secured their spots, the two boys couldn’t wait to climb inside the bed. After a little while longer, Yan Shuyu, too, put down her cellphone and crawled into the blanket, yawning.
Such was the benefit of sleeping with the kids. By the ti she went to bed, it was already toasty. It was said that each kid was like their own little furnace. And she had two of them.
Such was the first night in their new house. Yan Shuyu thought she’d roll around excitedly in the large bed and not be able to fall asleep, but as soon as she climbed inside the blanket and with the two soft and warm little bodies habitually snuggled up to her with their milky sll, Yan Shuyu quickly fell asleep deeply.
