Chapter 241 – Why don’t we get a hotel room nearby? (3)
Yan Shuyu climbed out of bed extrely reluctantly at 10 PM, changed, and stepped out of her apartnt at the last possible minute. Xiao Fang was already waiting for her downstairs.
Zhou Qinhe only had one secretary with him when he left. It was much livelier on his way back. In addition to Secretary Lu, he has three other male elites around him.
The original owner had no recollection of any of these individuals, neither had Yan Shuyu t them before. Seeing them surrounding the boss and chatting with him, Yan Shuyu paused in her tracks and wondered if it was appropriate for her to just walk up to him like that.
Right when she was hesitating, the boss glanced over at her casually and waved at her. “Co here.”
The casual look on the man along with his motion made him look like he was waving at a dog. Yet he was just standing there, looking handso and charismatic. The long-distance flight did not make him appear haggard at all. His suit was still straight with no folds whatsoever.
Seeing a boss like that, Yan Shuyu didn’t care at all that he was waving at her like she was a puppy. Her little girl’s heart was filled to the brim and she pitter pattered over to him.
Those who were surrounding Boss Zhou stepped aside to make room for Yan Shuyu when they saw that. When Yan Shuyu got closer, Zhou Qinhe reached out his arm and brought her over to him. His long and slender arm wrapped around her waist.
Her two lifetis combined, Yan Shuyu had never had this many audiences. A boss was a boss, she thought to herself. He was surely domineering, alright. She was hopelessly excited and shy at the sa ti.
Yan Shuyu didn’t even apply foundation when she left her house and now her blushing was there for all to see. Her pink cheeks along with her sparkling eyes, even Zhou Qinhe couldn’t help but curve his lips. His arm around her tightened and he rubbed her on her head with his other hand as he asked affectionately, “You didn’t just wake up, did you?”
The boss might not care about being touchy feely in front of everyone else, but Yan Shuyu felt very awkward about it. She couldn’t help but rub her cheek on the boss’s shoulder, trying to hide her blushing face.
She was just a good driver verbally. She could say all sorts of things, but now she threw in her towel right away. She asked the boss weakly, “Aren’t we going ho?”
“We are not in any rush. Let introduce my colleagues to you,” said Zhou Qinhe in a cheerful tone.
As soon as he was finished talking, Secretary Lu, walking next to him quickly smiled and said, “Long ti no see, Miss Yan. Let introduce you. This one is Boss Lin, the director of the Europe region, this is Boss Lu, the general manager of one of our subsidiaries…”
Yan Shuyu looked up and also stopped blushing as Secretary Lu introduced her. Instead, she was baffled as much as she was curious. These were all bosses around the boss. That wasn’t surprising judging from the way they were dressed, but what did they have to do with her and why did she need to be introduced?
Each person whom Secretary Lu had introduced would reach out their hand eagerly at her as though she was so celebrity as they said to her, “Hi, Miss Yan. How are you this fine evening?” They also praised her look, her temperant, and how she and Boss Zhou made a good couple together.
Yan Shuyu passively shook hands with all of them. At the sa ti, she was very delighted by the praises. She couldn’t figure out why the boss did what he did, not even after they had gotten inside of their car. When she recollected herself, she suddenly noticed that it was just the two of them in the car.
Zhou Qinhe reached his arm around her caringly and asked, “Are you very tired?”
Even though Yan Shuyu had resigned to co to pick him up, seeing how the boss was asking her casually whether she was tired, she was still a little disgruntled. “What do you think?”
Zhou Qinhe was not bothered by the disgruntlent in her voice. Instead, he reached up and brushed away the hair that had been blown onto her face. He caringly asked, “Why don’t we get a hotel room nearby and let you get so rest earlier then?”
Yan Shuyu was very dumbfounded right away. “Why do we need a hotel room?”
Yan Shuyu, who was feeling groggy, was still wondering. She was there to pick him up. Why was he talking about a hotel room?
Zhou Qinhe gave her a smile that wasn’t a smile and didn’t answer her question.
Yan Shuyu, after being dumbfounded for a few seconds, finally figured out what he was saying. Ooooh, kekekeke. That kind of “getting a hotel room”!
