Chapter 222 – Why couldn’t she ask him today? (3)
The two little boys, who were true to their words, agreeably let Yan Shuyu carry them out of the cars. Except that there was a lot of longing on the little male lead’s face on their way back.
Zhang Yuanjia may not have been to many places when he was a child, but ever since the fun-loving Yan Shuyu had transmigrated over, she had been taking him to all sorts of places. As such, he was less bumd on their way back. Compared to him, this was like a whole new world to the little male lead of the prestigious family. Being able to play gas at a public place with his favorite little buddy and Aunty Yan, it was difficult for him to leave, especially since he didn’t know when would be the next ti he could co out to play with them again.
Zhang Yuanjia, as though reading his little friend’s mind suddenly grabbed his hand and asked, “Have you been to the amusent park before?”
Little Zhou Yi blinked his eyes blankly. “Amusent park?”
“The little backpack that you have been using the last few days. Mommy bought it when she went to the amusent park before. I have the exact sa one as well~”
Being reminded by Zhang Yuanjia, the little male lead said as if at a loss,“No, I have never been.”
“ neither. Mommy said I was too young before and can’t go on many of the rides.” Zhang Yuanjia nicely comforted his little friend and then asked, “But Mommy said she’d bring there this week. Would you like to co with us?”
Zhou Yi’s eyes bead. It was obvious that he really wanted to say yes right away, but then he looked docilely at Yan Shuyu and asked, “Aunty Yan, may I co with?”
Yan Shuyu thought about it in her head. The boss should be back before the weekend and he would be able to take care of his son. It shouldn’t be too much work for he, so she smiled and nodded. “Of course.”
The two boys quickly talked about what amusent parks were like in their imagination excitedly. One of them said there were big tigers that they could ride on. The other one said they could befriend Peppa Pig there. All sorts of kids talk and crazy ideas. As a mature adult, Yan Shuyu couldn’t join into their conversation. Nevertheless, she was not bored. She had excitedly pulled out her cellphone and texted the boss, informing him that the two boys had already agreed upon themselves of going to the amusent park this coming weekend.
As the boss, Boss Zhou would not chat on the phone during work/etings, but taking a short break and texting his girlfriend was okay. As such, Yan Shuyu quickly received his response. Just as she had expected, the boss said that he’d be back into the country by then and they could all go together.
Yan Shuyu gave him an “okay”, then she texted him again, “I need to go in to work tomorrow and Yuanbao needs to go to school. What about Xiao Yi? Will soone be picking him up?”
This ti the boss didn’t respond for two whole minutes. “Ask him what he wants to do tomorrow.”
Yan Shuyu felt a bit odd. Did the authoritarian boss listen to her advice and had beco more liberal? That wasn’t a bad thing. Surely, she felt quite proud of her own achievent, but why did she need to ask the little male lead tomorrow? Why couldn’t she ask him today?
Unfortunately, the car had already pulled up in front of her building before she could raise any objection. Yan Shuyu knew that the ti between now and getting the boys into bed would be very busy. The two kids were already excited from their conversation in the car. She couldn’t even imagine how they’d be running around in excitent after they had gotten ho. Plus, the pampered little young master was way less independent than her son. She doubted she could expect him to do much by himself.
Yan Shuyu, having a pretty good idea about this, quickly responded “that works” back to the boss before she put her cellphone away and got out of the car. Right when she was about to thank Zhang Yang for having already gotten the two boys out of the car, she heard him saying enthusiastically, “Miss Yan, let walk up with you.”
“No need. We can go back by ourselves. You can take off now.”
