After explaining what had happened to Haruko's Family, Kai proceeded to another important talk with her parents.
He asked her hand of marriage and told them the circumstances.
Knowing that he was her childhood sweetheart and soone who had enough strength to protect her, they finally let her go, wishing Kai and Haruko a happy life.
Unfortunately, Kai could only promise them the marriage for the ti being, but he was going to make it a reality as soon as possible.
