A few days had passed since the so-called one month anniversary of the relationship between Liohi Kitagami and Shihon.
And tonight, as the duo lay in bed together next to a dimly lit lamp, an unlikely conversation sparked a sowhat interesting debate.
"I’m telling you, Master, I gotta be right! Jam will always be better than peanut-butter!"
"That take is almost as bad as ’Pineapple should be on pizza’. You gotta be kidding ."
"That’s right too."
"...Please don’t piss off. What the fuck?"
"Oh, and putting milk before cereal first."
"Hey, are you by chance a demon in disguise?"
"Who knows?"
Liohi glanced at Shihon with a tinge of concern mixed with disgust, but the latter kept her head high and continued to hold his hand affectionately while they kept their bodies close to each other.

Liohi opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by a ping sound from his phone within his pocket, and as he shuffled to lay fully on his back, he pulled out his mobile device and checked the screen.
"Oh, looks like the paynt ca in."
"Eh? For what?"
"My next mission," he muttered, before giving her a quick glance before he continued, "and no, you’re not coming with ."
"Ugh! I don’t care! I’m coming!"
"Hey, didn’t I just say-"
"I’m following you wherever you go, Master!" Shihon declared, not backing down, and Liohi sighed in response.
"So, you were never fully on board with staying ho until I returned from my missions in the first place, huh?"
"W-Why would I be? I feel soooo lonely without you by my side!! I wanna enjoy every mont with you!"
"I’ll only be gone for a few hours, though."
"A few...hours..."
"Why did your mood imdiately drop!?"
Rembering that ti where his Magical Beast Girl had been pretty much bawling when he returned from a previous Thief-For-Hire task, he pretty much wanted to avoid making her depressed, but what could he do?
If I take her with , she could get in the way of my job, and the Chief wouldn’t be pleased if I have to hand in my monthly report with mistakes shown in my dealings, he surmised.
Finding himself between a dilemma, Liohi closed his eyes and turned to face away from the young woman, postponing the think
"....I’ll think about it and give my answer in the morning. I haven’t been feeling okay these past few hours and I don’t wanna make my head hurt with your complaints for the rest of the night. Don’t get your hopes up, though."
And as soon as he said those words, though, Shihon had blitzed around the entire room in a frantic mood, bubbling with joy.
"No way, no way, no way! I’m gonna go with my Master tomorrow!!!"
"I’m pretty sure that I just said....ah, forget about it. Co on, get in bed."
Shihon obeyed and hopped onto the soft mattress covered with the bedsheets, before slipping under the covers and tucking herself in.
"Goodnight, Shihon," Liohi whispered.
"Goodnight, love."
Liohi’s eyebrows twitched at that response, but remained silent and smiled.
"Hehe, Master, you liked that one, didn’t you-GUHHH!!!"
Shihon’s teasing was imdiately silenced by the force of Liohi’s pillow being slapped onto her face.

With the sunlight from the horizon beaming through the translucent blue curtains, Shihon slowly opened her eyes with drowsiness.
She remained silent for a few seconds, blinking and rubbing her eyes before letting out a big yawn that exposed her fangs.
Suddenly, as if a light switch went off in her head, she stood up on the mattress and loudly spoke out:
"It’s morning ti! Mission: ’Take Your Magical Beast Girl to Work Day’ is officially here!"
She pointed to the ceiling with her index finder and released a huge grin. With her heart pumping, her excitent building, and fatigue instantly kicked out by her eager, she tilted her head to look at at her partner and-
"....Master, are you alive?"
".....Bare....ly," responded the weak voice.
Liohi, with dark circles under his eyes, coughed and sputtered. He remained covered, yet, his body slightly trembled as if being hit with a cold gust of wind.
"I think...I got hit with a virus," he said in a hushed voice. "I wasn’t feeling too good yesterday, but now, it’s gotten worse."
"...Hey, are you serious?"
"You think I’d joke about sothing like....ACHOO!!!"
"Yeah....look like you’re serious."
Shihon put her hand over his head and placed it gently on his forehead for a few seconds. Her eyes narrowed with concern.
"You have a fever, Master."
"Good g-g-grief."
He winced in frustration and bit his lip. At this point in ti, he would have to reach out to his client and arrange a postponent. Thus, he quickly pulled out his phone and started typing away, while Shihon stood still and pondered about sothing.
Finally, after several seconds of silence, she spoke up first.
"Master."
"Hm?"
"You’ve been slacking off with your nutrition and hygiene."
"Yeah...I wonder...why."
"Hey, what’s that supposed to an?"
"...Nothing."
He averted his eyes, and after sending the text ssage, he put the phone down and exhaled deeply before continuing, "Well, I’m fucked. I’ll have to rest here for the day, but I should be good enough to still fix sothing for us to eat of breakfast, so let’s-"
"Nope, not happening."
"Huh?"
The young woman with glimring green hair imdiately pushed his chest back down as soon as he tried to get up and began to speak in a much more serious tone than usual.
"You’ve been taking care of for a good while now, Master. I appreciate that. That’s why..."
She took in a deep breath and flashed a smirk.
"I’m going to take care of you for the entire day, Master! The Prince Treatnt will comnce, so you better be ready to take on all of the love that I’m gonna hand out to you today!!"
