Chapter 609: Check Your Inbox, All Students!
After classes ended for the day, students at Counterhex Academy were free to do whatever they liked. Facilities were open 24/7, so there really wasn’t much restrictions on where they could go. Hell, there was a whole red-light district, given all the students here were above 18 in age.
The students could even stay at the Academy Campus, if they liked. There were, of course, certain Enchantnts that activated after school hours ended to prevent students from touching and ssing around with special equipnt such as the Hexdroids, but even with those barriers in place, one could still go survey and explore areas like the Hexdroid Hangar Bay to their heart’s content after school hours ended. They just wouldn’t be able to touch the chs.

“… I take it you’re going straight back to the dorms to rest?” Feng Mian asked , a look of worry on her beautiful face.
I nodded. “Unfortunately, yes. There’s a lot I want to explore, but… for the sake of tonight, I have to.”
“I see. In that case, I’ll accompany you back,” Feng Mian said, hugging my arms, as I lifted an eyebrow.
“Oh? There’s no need for that, really,” I replied, blinking a few tis. “Unless there was sothing you wanted from …?”
“No, no.” Feng Mian quickly shook her head, before averting her gaze and blushing cutely. “It’s just… I’ll cook sothing for you, since you’ll be needing food as well…”
“Cooking?” Axilia perked up. “I’ll join to-”
“No, you’re not,” Qing Yue interrupted, pulling on Axilia’s ears and dragging her away. “You’re coming right with … let’s go do so shopping, shall we?”
“We’ll be leaving to check out the Recreational Campus as well,” Yu An Yan said, winking at . “You two have fun~”
“…” Feng Mian looked down at her feet and blushed, as I slowly comprehended what this was about. The other girls were giving Feng Mian an opportunity to be alone with …
“… I see. Well, let’s go then,” I said. “No sense in staying here any longer.”
“Yep~ see you tomorrow, Big Brother Xuan Kai~!” Qing Yue waved cheerily from a short distance away, sticking her tongue out playfully, as the other girls followed behind her.
“I will protect them in case any… insolent n approach, Master,” i Gui said, bowing down. “You two… enjoy your ti.”
I nodded, and with that, she left.
“Fufu…” Eve brushed past as well, though not before sticking sothing in my pocket. “Here. Take this. Find an opportunity and use it on that teacher tonight. If you succeed, she’ll beco immobilized, so you can be free.”
“Uh… thanks,” I said, blinking in surprise. Judging from what I was feeling with my hand, it seed to be a small strand of string. Interesting.
Eve only smiled mysteriously, however, and turned to her sister Feng Mian.
“As for you… take this. Us succubi only get pregnant when we want to, but… since you don’t have total control over your powers yet, it may be wise to use one of these~”
With a wink, she slid a small and pink square-shaped package of so sort into Feng Mian’s hand discretely, and placed a finger over her lips in a ‘shush’ gesture.
“T-This… we’re not doing that!” Feng Mian whispered sharply, cheeks flushed deeply as she tried to reject the gift, but Eve only laughed and walked off in amusent.
After she left, Feng Mian gave an exhausted sigh, and turned to shyly.
“U-Um… this really isn’t what it looks like. I’m not trying to… um… do that or anything. I know you want to rest, so I’ll rest with you.”
I smiled and rubbed her head. “Don’t worry, I know. You’re not the proactive type when it cos to this type of thing… that is, when you’re not in heat.”
“You… hmph! Shaless!” Feng Mian pouted and looked away, but I rely chuckled and slid my arm around her waist, pulling her close.
“Now, now. Don’t get mad. It was just a joke. Let’s head back, shall we?”
“Mm… let’s go.”
With that, the two of us set off for the dormitories, as countless male students looked over at in jealousy for having such a beauty in my arms. Feng Mian seed a little embarrassed to be walking around in public like this, though, so I changed it up a bit and resorted to just holding her hand instead. At this small movent, Feng Mian smiled slightly in happiness, and looking at the cute and flustered expression on her face, I couldn’t help but admire her beauty all over again.
She was the first girl I have truly encountered out of all the won surrounding now, with the exception of Qing Yue who I only saw as a little sister back then. It’s been a very long ti since I last got to spend a mont like this with her, just the two of us, so in a way, I appreciated the other girls’ understanding.
This was quite out of the blue, but it would seem she’d been waiting for an opportunity like this for a long ti. All this ti, she’d waited. All this ti… she’d been holding back her selfish desires.
“Just today…” She faintly whispered, pressing her head against my shoulder. “Just today… let be selfish to my heart’s content.”
I didn’t respond. That would ruin the atmosphere. Even passerby who saw us like this steered clear as if to not intrude and interrupt the mood, and I was far from the insensitive guy I was a few years ago.
But unfortunately, so bastard over at the school administration can’t seem to understand that, and all of a sudden, every student in sight who did not have the mute function enabled had a loud ‘beep’ noise co from their Navigator.
“Ah…! Um…” Feng Mian broke away from instantly, her dream woken up from, and she glanced down at her Navigator. “Er… this is… it says we have a new mail in our inboxes.”
I sighed, cursing whoever sent it, and cleared my throat.
“A-Ahem… well, let’s see what it’s about.”
Feng Mian nodded, and together with literally every other student in sight, we checked our inboxes simultaneously.
