In just a few minutes, Lucia was brought from the torture prison and made to kneel close to her father. Mr Conti’s eyes widened in horror when he saw his daughter, bruised and beaten up.

"Lucia..." He called in a trembling voice.

"Da...dad" she answered, her voice cracking with tears. She crawled towards him and her father touched her face. He wore a worried look, trailing his fingers around her bruised face.

He turned his neck to Marcello, who had been watching their father-daughter mont with nothing but coldness in his eyes. Of course, he had ordered his n to teach Lucia a little lesson before he returned to get Eduardo from Russia and he was a bit satisfied with the results.

Her once pale and smooth body has been bruised, and so has her face beco... Red and swollen.

"Please, let my daughter go. I’ll take in any punishnt you have for her. Just let her go"

"Dad..." Lucia called.

Marcello yawned and adjusted his sitting position. He was getting bored of the drama that was occurring in front of him.

"Viktor, get the revolver" he ordered.

Viktor looked at Marcello, wondering if he was not going to do ’that’. But, he did as he was ordered. He arrived a few minutes later with the revolver and so bullets.

Marcello grabbed it and slipped one bullet into the cylinder. He rolled it and then, put it back in place.

Lucia and Mr Conti were on the floor, wondering what Marcello was going to do, especially Mr Conti.

All he wanted to do was to plead with Marcello, thinking he was going to get pardoned. He didn’t want to die. Sweat buds began to form at the corner of his head.

"Prince Marcello, are you going to kill us?" He asked, just to be certain.

Marcello sprung up from the king chair he was seated on and walked closer to them. He knelt in front of them and pointed the revolver at them.

"I wouldn’t like to get my hands dirty now, would I? So, we’ll play a little ga. Let’s na it... Chance of death" he paused and looked at Viktor. "Cool, right?" He asked. Viktor just shut his eyes. He already knew that was the ga Marcello was going to play with these helpless people.

"What kind of ga is it, Prince?" Lucia asked, the tone of her voice changing.

"Slow down now. No need to be in a hurry. There are eight bullet holes in this wheel, but seven of them are empty. All you need to do is pull the trigger at each other till one of you dies," he said.

They understood the ga but it will always end when one of them dies. Now, Mr Conti doesn’t have to die for his daughter. It’s either he gets killed by his daughter or... He kills his daughter.

Lucia also wanted to use this chance to get released from here. If she ends up killing her father, she’ll be safe. Her heart was racing in her chest as she stretched her hand to accept the gun.

"Oho, the daughter decides to go first. This will be fun" he went back to his chair, and with excitent on his face, he decided to watch to see who ended up dead first.

Everyone around also watched Lucia point the gun at her father without trembling hands.

"I’m sorry father"

"It’s fine, Lucia. Just shoot" he spoke, with his eyes half closed. The bullet could be in the third hole or even the second hole. It all depends on luck and also...chance.

Lucia imdiately pulled the trigger and there was a click from the gun.

Marcello burst into laughter, clapping his hands.

"Did you see her father’s expression? He was so scared. Oh shit! Why don’t you go next, Mr Conti? Go ahead and shoot your daughter. Let’s see how lucky you are" Mr Conti grabbed the gun from his daughter and pointed it at her.

Lucia’s heart also started to race. The gun was pointed at her head. Her breathing hastened and she started to shake.

Mr Conti pulled the trigger without hesitation and there was also a clicking sound from the gun.

"Next!" He said. Lucia swiftly took the gun and pulled the trigger. It was the sa clicking sound.

That was the third shot.

"I wonder how long this will take..." He grumbled.

.

anwhile, Eduardo was unable to sleep after Marcello left the room. Marcello told him he had business to attend to.

Eduardo threw his legs off the bed and walked to the closet to put on sothing. He wanted to leave the room to et with Mario. He rembered seeing him get hit by Lucia’s guard.

At the sa ti, he wanted to know what happened to Lucia. If she was the one who threw him off to Luca or she was also a victim. He brushed his fingers through his hair and opened the door.

He saw two hefty n standing outside the room. They both blocked his path, stopping him from leaving.

"What’s happening?" He asked them.

"We were asked to guard a ’princess’" One of them answered out of annoyance. Eduardo furrowed his eyebrows, wondering what he was talking about. He also despised the idea of being called a princess. He preferred to be called an outcast or the famous one ’fuckboy’. The other one gave a little nudge to his partner before speaking.

"The boss asked that you mustn’t leave the room. Please, go back" he said, pointing to the room.

"Why? I’d like to leave. Is there sothing happening that I mustn’t know?" He asked and they both exchanged glances, making Eduardo suspicious already. All he wanted to do was to et Mario.

He turned around, wanting to enter his room. Just when his foot crossed the door, the sound of a gunshot echoed throughout the manor.

Eduardo froze and looked down the hallway.

"That was a gunshot" he muttered.

"It doesn’t concern you, just go back into your..." Before he could complete his words, Eduardo threw a punch on his face. He groaned in pain and lowered his body. The other one wanted to stop Eduardo from going to the living room, but he ended up beaten as well.

Eduardo rushed to the living room and by the staircase, his eyes t with the gore scene downstairs. There was a dead body in front of Marcello, who had a maniacal look on his face. He looked like he was having fun.

Eduardo didn’t know who was dead, but his eyes t the second person close to the corpse, and his eyes widened.

’Isn’t that lady Lucia?’
