It’s been a week since the incident that happened at the mall. Everything has been taken care of, even the dia.

"Young master, you have a guest"

"A guest? I wasn’t expecting anyone" he replied, tilting his head in confusion. He had just arrived in Russia, he didn’t have anyone to call a friend. Besides, his sister went back to the States after giving him a million and one warning to stay away from Fabio.

"He told to tell you about his red hair"

Eduardo’s eyes widened when he heard that.

"Oh, it’s Luca. Let him co in" he said.

Luca coughed out a laugh and cleared his throat.

A tiny figure that was hiding behind him jumped out and spread her hands in front of her brother.

"Don’t kill him, please!" She yelled.

Eduardo raised his hand and they lowered their guns.

"I wasn’t going to. Welco, lady Nadia" Eduardo greeted with a warm smile.

Nadia was the only person who treated him well after he found himself in a strange place. She was a kind and loving person.

Tears gathered at the corner of her eyes. She rushed to him and hugged him tight where he was seated.

"Hey, Nadia! You can’t touch him recklessly" Luca yelled, trying to stop his sister, but he froze when Eduardo gently pat her back.

"You have no idea how worried I was when that monster dragged you back" she cried. "I’m sorry, I should have been more careful"

Eduardo smiled and they broke the hug.

"I’m fine, thanks for worrying," he said, handing her his handkerchief.

Nadia wiped the tears off her eyes, careful not to ruin her make-up. She found soone closer to Eduardo and sat there.

Eduardo signalled the butler to get so refreshnts and their discussion continued.

They started talking about random things. Though Eduardo didn’t rember anything about that period, he learnt about the real Eduardo from them.

"It’s my mistake, I should have talked father out of sending you to Italy. That monster tried to harm you" Luca slamd his hand on the armrest.

Eduardo leaned against the chair, listening to Luca and Nadia’s chat. It’s almost as if he’s not there.

David was also learning more about Eduardo. He couldn’t take his eyes off him at all.

’So he had this kind of childhood. Who the hell is this monster they keep talking about?’

"I told you how Marcello forcefully kissed Eduardo at the airport after killing one of my guards" Nadia folded her hands angrily.

Eduardo sat there with no expression on his face. It happened a long ti ago, so he didn’t care. More has happened between him and Marcello by the way.

David heard that and clenched his fist tight behind him.

’It’s not my concern that he was kissed, but why am I getting angry? Kiss? Marcello? Why does that make sound familiar?’

David raised his brow re-collecting how Eduardo was stopping himself from clicking his profile. He wished he could ask questions, but he just stood there, keeping guard. His heart was beating faster than normal.

"He’s worse than a devil," Luca said.

"I... I don’t think he’s that bad. I an, he saved then" she said.

Eduardo raised an eyebrow, including Luca. He was the most confused person. They already knew and believed that Marcello had no hand in killing their parents.

But, they weren’t aware that without Marcello, Nadia would have died.

"What are you talking about?" Luca asked.

"Well, you see... That day, I was in my room when the fire started. I couldn’t breathe when I tried to escape and I passed out by the stairs. I thought I was going to die but soone saved and carried ... I thought it was the attackers, so I pretended to be dead. He took to the cold room and..." She paused and rembered the words he said before leaving...

"I hope your brother cos for you, or you’ll freeze to death,"

"That’s all" she shrugged.

Luca almost didn’t believe it. If it was Marcello telling him this, he would have angrily punched a hole in his face for lying, but it’s coming from his sister.

"I guess I owe him a huge apology and appreciation"

"I could have done that myself, but I’m still scared of him" Nadia shook her head.

A smile appeared on Eduardo’s face, knowing that Marcello was still kind enough to save a life. But the smile faded, rembering how he kept the news about his family from him.

To others, it might not be a bad thing, but to Eduardo, he felt his trust was betrayed.

"Are you alright, Eddy?"

Nadia’s voice snapped him back to reality. He shook his head and tried to reach for so of the refreshnts that the maids brought earlier while they were discussing.

David imdiately stopped him.

"What are you doing?" Eduardo asked him.

"Allow to taste if there is any harmful substance before you take them, young master"

"Do you think I’ll die by poisoning?" Eduardo asked and David nodded his head.

Eduardo sighed and allowed him to do his job. He turned to face Nadia and continued.

"Well, he’s married already. So, you don’t have to concern yourself with him"

"What? He finally got married? What kind of woman did he end up with?" Nadia almost jumped out of her chair.

"Well, she’s a bit crazy and obsessed with him. I guess they are a good pair" Luca shrugged.

"What a great pair" Nadia laughed.

Eduardo kept watching them.

"They are safe to eat, young master" David whispered to him.

"Well, you already ruined my appetite", Eduardo whispered back into his ear.

David flinched, feeling his warm breath hitting his ear. His face flushed red as he turned away imdiately.

Luca raised an eyebrow, observing David and Eduardo.

He shook the thought he was having off his head and concentrated on their conversation.

When it was late, they were ready to head back to their manor. Eduardo personally escorted them outside.

Nadia was being clingy, almost refusing to head back.

"We’ll be heading for a birthday party next weekend, can you co with us?" She asked.

"Oh, I also have plans next weekend. We’ll et again next ti, Nadia" he said, with a smile. She also smiled and headed to the car.

Luca shook hands with Eduardo.

"I hope your long-ti grudge will fade away after tonight"

"I don’t think it’s that easy" Eduardo smirked.

"Be careful of that guard of yours. He seems like he’s into you"

"I know... What? Are you jealous?" He whispered back.

Luca imdiately pulled away, placing his hand over the ear Eduardo whispered into.

"You’re... crazy!" He stuttered and entered the car, leaving the compound. Nadia waved from the passenger seat before leaving.

As soon as they were gone, Eduardo let out a heavy sigh and turned to et David’s eyes. He rembered what Luca said to him and smirked.
