Adal read over all of these skills and couldn’t help but be blown away. The catalogue was not only extensive, but it was filled with skills that were powerful beyond his comprehension. Not to ntion, it seed that its powers could still be increased.
Of course, they would most likely require an absurd amount of mana to activate, but Adal did not care. In the upcoming battles, he knew that they would more than be worth it.
He was almost surprised by how little the item cost. By far, it seed the most powerful item he had seen in the store so far.
And yet, it only cost him 3000. This was a testant to just how overpowered the Smartphone artefact was.
Adal placed the Grimoire in his chest, and once he had, he realised just how drained he was from pouring his mana into the item.
So much so that he could not prevent himself from collapsing to the ground. He was still conscious, but it felt as though his legs did not work properly.
Luckily, he heard footsteps hurrying up the stairs.

A few monts later, Penelope and Juliette burst into the room, with the goblins following behind them.
As they all saw Adal lying on the floor, even Ibukk beca worried. After all, the librarian was his ticket to safety within the human city.

There was a deep look of anxiety on her face.
Penelope stood over her, also watching with that sa expression.
Adal chuckled. "I am fine. I’ve just used too much mana in a short period of ti. I will need so help from one of you two... or even three," he added, after catching sight of Frogg.
The three won looked at him carefully.
It was Ibukk, the goblin brother, who spoke first. He stepped forward and pointed towards his chest.
"What about ? You might have beaten in a fight, but I’m not useless, you know?"
Adal laughed again.
"This isn’t sothing you can help with. It requires the touch of a woman."

The brother paused for a few monts. When he realised what the librarian was implying, he blushed blue and left the room, dragging his sister by the arm behind him.
"H-hey!" Frogg argued, but was ultimately pulled outside by the stronger man.
That left Adal alone with Penelope and Juliette.
"What exactly do you need us to do?"
Adal thought for a few monts.
Being a man with an extensive harem that was currently in the process of expanding, it was important that he tried his best to show an equal amount of attention to his won.

When she caught sight of Adal, she dropped them to the floor and made her way over.
"Adal, what’s happened to you?" the woman asked, fear in her voice.
"He is fine... but he is feeling a bit weak at the mont," Penelope answered for him, playing with a loose strand of green hair nervously.

"Beautiful ladies, leave and Willow alone for a few monts. After we are done, I will return downstairs fully reinvigorated."
Juliette blushed and looked away, whilst Penelope smiled. She always liked it when Adal was confident with other won. It was why she had enjoyed watching the man dominate Nimrodel so thoroughly.
"Of course. We will be waiting for you downstairs," she said, dragging Juliette out of the room with her and closing the door behind them.
That left Adal and Willow alone.
