Chapter 47: Chapter 47 Diagnosis and Treatnt_1 Chapter 47: Chapter 47 Diagnosis and Treatnt_1 Sister Ke, who had served Lady Xiao since childhood, naturally understood her thoughts and thus persuaded her, “My lady, Ms. Yang ans well, trying wouldn’t hurt.”

If you were to say that Ms. Yang’s dical skill surpassed Doctor Luo’s, she truly wouldn’t believe it; however, she believed Ms. Yang had a fortunate destiny and hoped that Ms. Yang could bring good fortune to the lady.

Seeing the hopeful and concerned gazes from her daughter and the maid, Lady Xiao gently nodded and put her hand on the table beside her.

Yang ngchen carefully took Lady Xiao’s pulse.

Everyone stared at Yang ngchen’s slender fingers, as if ti had co to a standstill.

After a mont, Yang ngchen withdrew her hand and said warmly under everyone’s anxious gaze, “Lady Xiao is suffering from deficiency in both Qi and blood, as well as emotional congestion over many years. Today, I will perform acupuncture for Lady Xiao once, followed by dicinal treatnt. After seven days, a second session of acupuncture is needed, and she should recover within a month at most.”

“Sister ngchen, are you serious?” springing to her feet, Xiao Wanxue eagerly asked Yang ngchen.

Yang ngchen nodded.

“Thank you, thank you, Sister ngchen!” Xiao Wanxue kept saying her thanks, and then she tightly grasped her mother’s hand, “Mother, did you hear that? Sister ngchen said, in at most a month, you will be able to recover!” Her voice choked up, and tears stread down her face.

Upon suddenly hearing the good news that she could recover, Lady Xiao was so excited she could barely compose herself, “I heard, Mother heard!” completely forgetting her earlier hesitation over whether Yang ngchen could find a cure.

Sister Ke and Zi Jin also had tears brimming in their eyes, “Congratulations, my lady!”

Yang ngchen stood quietly to the side.

Although Lady Xiao’s condition was much more serious than that of Aunty Xiao, it was not incurable. The key was to first unravel the emotional knots, then apply special acupuncture techniques and dicinal treatnt, and naturally, she would recover her health.

She guessed that the doctors who had previously declared helplessness did so because first, they ignored the importance of psychological therapy, and second, they were fearful of administering acupuncture lightly, as it involved several hidden acupoints. In the Feudal Era, the distinction between n and won was taken very seriously, and doctors would not treat female patients directly.

“Ms. Yang, no, Chenchen, from now on I will call you Chenchen, and you must not call Lady Xiao, just Aunty Xiao will do,” Lady Xiao said gratefully as she took Yang ngchen’s hand. “For over a decade, you are the first person to give Aunty hope. Aunty doesn’t know how to thank you enough.”

Yang ngchen smiled amicably and replied, “Aunty Xiao, please don’t say such a thing. Aunty Xiao has been kind and loving towards , and Sister Wanxue is like a sister to . Since I have a way to cure Aunty Xiao, naturally, I cannot stand by idly. Aunty Xiao, please lie down on the bed in the inner room, and I will administer the acupuncture.”

“Alright,” Lady Xiao followed Yang ngchen into the inner room.

Xiao Wanxue, Sister Ke, and Zi Jin followed closely behind.

Upon hearing Yang ngchen ask her to take off all her clothes, Lady Xiao, sitting on the edge of the bed, turned slightly red and hesitated, gripping her clothes tightly.

“Aunty Xiao, we are all won, there is no need to feel embarrassed,” Yang ngchen said in a gentle voice.

Zi Jin cleverly began to walk out while assuring, “Rest assured, my lady, this servant will keep watch outside.”

With her face flushed, Lady Xiao took off all her clothes and then lay flat on the bed.

Seeing the Black Needle that Yang ngchen pulled out, Xiao Wanxue asked with surprise, “Sister ngchen, why is your needle black? That’s so strange!”

“This Black Needle is made from a special material, which is why it is all black,” Yang ngchen patiently explained. “I also obtained this set of Black Needles by a twist of fate.”

“I see,” Xiao Wanxue realized, but she did not inquire any further.

Yang ngchen quickly and accurately inserted several thin Black Needles into a few hidden acupoints on Lady Xiao’s body.

Xiao Wanxue and Sister Ke stood quietly by the bed, watching Yang ngchen perform acupuncture.

Initially, Lady Xiao felt nothing extraordinary, but after a while, she began to sense a warm current slowly flowing from those acupoints throughout her body, giving her a particularly comfortable and warm feeling, while sleepiness gradually overtook her.

Seeing Lady Xiao’s eyes flickering open and closed, Yang ngchen whispered, “Aunty Xiao, rest assured and sleep well, I will stay by your side.”

Although her body was exposed, Lady Xiao did not feel cold at all. Upon hearing Yang ngchen’s words, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Yang ndchen switched to a few different acupoints to apply needles, then removed the Black Needles and placed them back into the deer leather bag before returning the bag to her purse. She put a slender finger to her lips, signaling Xiao Wanxue and Sister Ke to keep quiet, and then pointed outside.

Xiao Wanxue and Sister Ke understood without a word and tiptoed along with Yang ngchen towards the living room.

“Sister Wanxue, Sister Ke, let Aunty Xiao have a good sleep. Please don’t disturb her,” Yang ngchen murmured softly. “I will go to attend to the guests. If there is anything, you can find in the garden. If Uncle Xiao inquires, I will explain it to him.”

Xiao Wanxue’s eyes brimd with tears, “Sister ngchen, thank you!”

“We are close sisters; there’s no need for such formalities. You all keep watch over Aunty Xiao, and I will take my leave,” said Yang ngchen with a smile as she departed.

Watching Yang ngchen’s figure gradually recede into the distance, Sister Ke spoke earnestly to Xiao Wanxue, “Ms. Yang is intelligent, competent, dignified, and blessed with good fortune. You must be genuinely friendly with her and never let any estrangent co between you.”

“Don’t worry, Sister Ke,” Xiao Wanxue responded assuredly. Without needing Sister Ke’s reminder, she had long regarded Yang ngchen as a true sister and had resolved to be doubly good to her.

Later, the two returned to the inner chamber and joyfully and relievedly looked upon Lady Xiao, who was sleeping soundly.

Gently opening her eyes and seeing her daughter and Sister Ke by her bedside, Lady Xiao asked in astonishnt, “How did I fall asleep?”

“Sister ngchen said it was due to the acupuncture,” Xiao Wanxue explained with joy. “Sister ngchen also ntioned you’ll get better in ti, and Mother will gradually beco very spirited.”

“Indeed, it is now the Late Shen Hour (around 5 pm), and you have slept soundly for a full two hours,” Sister Ke comnted while assisting Lady Xiao in dressing.

Ever since Lady Xiao gave birth to her daughter, she would wake up suddenly after less than half an hour each night, unable to sleep again, and during the day she would feel lethargic with no inclination to sleep, despite trying many solutions to no avail.

Today was the first ti she had slept so soundly and for such a long duration, without the usual sudden awakenings—it was a good sign.

“I slept that long?” Looking at the dim sky outside, Lady Xiao could hardly believe that she had slept so soundly until now.

“Your daughter and Sister Ke have been with you the whole ti, we wouldn’t mistake it,” Xiao Wanxue asked with a smile, “How do you feel, Mother?”

With a face showing imnse relief, Lady Xiao said, “I feel much lighter all over, very comfortable.”

Upon hearing this, Xiao Wanxue and Sister Ke both beca overjoyed, tears streaming down their faces.

“In my opinion, Ms. Yang’s dical skill is indeed profound, and she truly is a blessing for Lady Xiao,” Sister Ke said with a smile, expressing her heartfelt belief.

Lady Xiao agreed wholeheartedly, “You’re right, Chenchen is indeed my blessing.”

Once dressed, the four of them prepared to go to the garden to find Yang ngchen, but as fate would have it, Yang ngchen happened to be coming their way.
