Chapter 824: Chapter 824: Labyrinth Chapter 824: Chapter 824: Labyrinth Greg Jensen and the other seven could only obediently get out of the car, the middle-aged driver smiled insincerely and said,

“This castle is the secret base for researching the Soul-snatching Flower! Before we go in, let make this clear.

Not just anyone is eligible to purchase our Soul-snatching Flowers, so whether or not you can find the place will depend on your luck!”

Seeing the puzzled looks on everyone’s faces, the driver did not bother to explain further and turned his head to lead the way.

As they followed the narrow path, they quickly arrived in front of a thicket that was as tall as a person.

The thicket spanned several tens of ters, almost completely surrounding the front of the castle from a great distance away.

In front of them were six entrances, each marked with a sign written in Sanskrit.

Greg recognized at a glance that those characters were the six paths, such as the Animal Path, the Human Path, the Asura Path, and so on.

What surprised him most was that from their original position all the way to where they looked at the castle, they found that their position had not gotten any closer to the castle but instead had maintained a constant distance.

“Is this so kind of visual illusion? No… it must be a formation! It creates a visual distortion, making it seem like the distance hasn’t changed when in fact it’s been changing all along.”

But he couldn’t understand why the driver had brought them here.

Unable to figure it out, Greg simply decided to share the view with the golden eagle in the sky and surveyed the thicket from above.

He saw that the entire thicket was almost three acres in size, winding around like a maze, with only one exit at the end near the castle.

That ant to cooperate with them, one must find the exit in the thicket maze.

This…

Greg’s brow furrowed as he pondered the purpose behind Cherrywood and the Black Dragon Gang doing this. Wouldn’t it make more sense if they welcod all cors since they had opened up sales to the whole world?

Not only had they not done so, but they were also using a maze to screen applicants.

There was definitely sothing fishy going on!

“Hey! Hurry up and take to see your leader! Stop wasting everyone’s ti!”

“That’s right, the castle is right there, why not just take us straight to it!”

While Greg was racked with confusion,

the others had already grown impatient and started calling out.

The driver smiled at them and pointed to the six entrances in front of them, saying,

“I think I made myself clear, if you want to enter the castle, you must choose one of these entrances and find your way through the thicket to the exit!

It’s our rule, and every visitor must abide by it. As for whether you can find it… heh, you’ll just have to rely on your good fortune!”

With that, he struck an inviting pose once more, staring at the eight people with a chilling sneer.

“This…”

The crowd exchanged uneasy looks, feeling an inexplicable sense of anxiety.

Just then, Karen Milton didn’t hesitate to step out from the crowd first, taking Zoey Milton straight through the middle entrance.

Next was Greg, who, through his vantage point from above, chose the second entrance.

He only realized after stepping in that the thicket was growing taller, almost blocking all sightlines.

The pathways were narrow, with many forks in the road, and every four or five ters, he was faced with a choice of direction.

“If it weren’t for my golden eagle watching from high above, I’m sure it would take days to get out, right?!”

Greg frowned and after careful study, he found that there was only one true exit.

If one made an incorrect choice even once, every subsequent path would be incorrect.

The shortest route would still encounter more than twenty choices.

That ant you had to make the right choice twenty consecutive tis to get out!

This maze wasn’t testing people, it was clearly designed to trap them inside!

He couldn’t help but suspect that Cherrywood and the Black Dragon Gang’s design of a maze in front of the castle hid so other purpose.

Whoosh!!

Suddenly, a slight rustling sound arose as if sothing was quickly approaching.

Without thinking, Greg imdiately pinpointed the source of the sound and threw a punch fiercely.

Instantly, there was a loud thud as he collided with a dark shadow.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a strange three-headed wolf-like dog.

Its mouth was full of sharp, nacing fangs, and it snarled with a wrinkled black nose, looking extrely ferocious.

“A level six late-stage three-headed dog… heh, seems like the people at the base didn’t plan on letting anyone out alive!”

The pathway was extrely complicated and singular, that was one thing, but then they arranged for such mutated ferocious beasts to attack halfway through, leaving no way out for anyone!

Pity… such thods might work on others, but for Greg, it just ant spending a bit more ti that’s all!

He leaped into the air, and the Limitless Sword Aura burst forth, instantly forming a massive net that rapidly sliced through the narrow corridor.

Leaving no room for the three-headed wolf-dog to retreat, it was instantaneously cut into pieces.

Through the vision provided by his golden eagle, Greg saw the other seven also encountering the sa ferocious beasts.

In the narrow corridors, they seed unable to give their all, only clumsily dodging to and fro, engaging in a struggle with the creatures.

This further disrupted their original plans, causing them to blindly choose their paths and stray further into error.

He deliberately glanced at the Milton sisters, Karen and Zoey, and saw them releasing icy gusts, tangled in combat with two three-headed wolf-dogs, and for the mont, it was difficult to determine a victor, clearly stuck in place.

“Should I go and help them?”

After all, the two sisters were there to save their clan mbers, and he had made their acquaintance. Their characters weren’t bad, and they didn’t deserve to die here. Since he had co across them, it wouldn’t hurt to take so ti to help.

Whiz whiz whiz!!

But just as Greg was hesitating, a series of urgent whooshing sounds suddenly ca through.

With the world seemingly slowed to a crawl by his Heavenly Mystery Yin Yang Eyes, he noticed those were a string of sharp darts!

They had even sent people to attack halfway?!

“Hmph, I want to see what tricks you’re trying to play!”

Greg snorted coldly, his gaze sharp as lightning, and with a flick of his hand, he launched the Immortal thod Light Darts.

Amongst a blur of images, the Light Darts spun rapidly, whistling through the air, they violently and accurately collided with the hidden weapons.

The stealth assailants delayed their appearance, seemingly preparing for the next round of attacks.

Unable to hold back, Greg shouted loudly, “No need to hide anymore! Have the guts to fight face-to-face!”

Unfortunately, his challenge was useless, the adversary still hid in the shadows.

Seeing this, Greg could only use his golden eagle’s vision to scout the area.

Hiss, and wouldn’t you know it, he imdiately spotted four hidden figures around him.

Apart from near himself, around the other seven, more than a dozen n in black had densely gathered.

They planned to assassinate everyone amidst the shrubbery!

“Die!”

Greg didn’t want to waste ti, directly throwing his Immortal thod Light Darts. They swiftly passed through the bushes, accurately hitting the four individuals, killing them in one hit without giving them a chance to react.

Then, he imdiately headed towards Karen’s location, as within that short mont, over a dozen n in black had joined the fray, trapping them in a desperate fight!

“Damn it! We hit a tough one!”

In hiding, a Sakura Country Ninja seeing Greg dispatch four of his companions, imdiately called into the radio:

“Stop watching the show, everyone co out, we’ve found a worthy opponent! Whoever gets his Bloodline or Special Ability will see their strength skyrocket!”
