Chapter 158: Chapter 67: [Ancient God Curse] Obtained
Finally, the Divine Armor: Magic Ring Tree Master stopped its pursuit.
"You have won, Caster who was resurrected from Death!"
After stating its assessnt of its foe, it plunged its Heavy Sword heavily into the ground.
Imdiately after.
CLANK-CLANK...
The thick armor scattered across the ground, turning into a pile of ruined scrap.
Only the heavy Golden Giant Sword remained, not having dissipated.
After a certain amount of ti, the Divine Armor: Magic Ring Tree Master would be reborn at the location of the Heavy Sword, awaiting the next challenger.
Phew...
In the distance, Zorn let out a long sigh of relief.
He had sold a life, but in the end, he had still secured a solid victory.
Zorn looked up.
From deep within the majestic silhouette of the Tree of the Magic Ring that filled the sky, a golden teor suddenly streaked across the heavens, trailing a long tail of golden fla.
This wasn’t just happening in the hidden depths of the seventh layer’s Tree of the Magic Ring.
On several other World layers, that sa golden teor could be seen rapidly streaking across the sky.
...
Finally!
The massive Ancient God Curse Seed, as large as a small house, crashed onto the hill to the right of the valley where Zorn stood.
When Zorn walked over, its petal-like outer shell had already burned away.
This revealed a gigantic hand inside, burning with golden flas.
The hand was like liquid gold, and a single finger was thicker than Zorn’s waist.
An Ancient God Curse.
An ancient Divine Hand.
[Tarktos’ Hand].
It was a secret existence, more powerful than a Forbidden Curse, hidden within the various Ancient Ruins of the Holy Land Continent.
An ancient Divine Curse that could only be obtained after layers of revelations, deciphering nurous secret Spells, and completing a multitude of quests.
And now, it was displayed right before Zorn’s eyes.
Back when he had his Player template,
Zorn had conquered this [Tarktos’ Hand] multiple tis.
Two of his three Legendary high-level accounts had also mastered [Tarktos’ Hand].
Several of his Saint Level accounts had [Tarktos’ Hand] as well.
But now, as Zorn stood before [Tarktos’ Hand] once again,
an indescribable sense of familiarity washed over him.
He slowly extended his palm.
Palm resonated with palm.
GUSH...
[Tarktos’ Hand] transford into a gushing torrent of golden liquid, flowing along Zorn’s palm and pouring deep into the frawork of his Evil Spirit Wizard Sequence.
Powerful Magic Spells on the level of an [Ancient God Curse] were not common on the Holy Land Continent, even in the late ga.
Therefore, every Ancient God Curse had a nickna given by the Players.
[Tarktos’ Hand] was called the "Ancient God’s Hand" by many Players.
The Ancient God’s Hand had a "basic form" plus three "Ancient Curse Forms."
The basic form added multiple "Golden Arms."
It was also known among Players as "Arm Hyperplasia."
Talisman-like "Golden Arms" with golden outlines could grow from the back and armpits.
If not controlled well, a Player’s "basic form" could easily mutate and spiral out of control, turning them into a "Golden Many-Ard Monster."
The effective solution was to absorb these Golden Arms into one’s own arms, or to utilize them effectively.
For a Caster, this ant an extra defensive, hand-gesture-based Magic Spell.
But for Zorn, it was a different story.
The [Fighting Master] class relies entirely on two arms for damage output.
With the basic form of the [Ancient God Curse], the [Fighting Master] class was about to get a version-related buff—an epic-level enhancent.
The three "Ancient Curse Forms" of the Ancient God’s Hand.
The first form is the "Elental Hand."
Within a certain range, any elental matter can be instantly condensed into an "Elental Hand" and controlled by the Caster.
It requires no casting ti and consus very little Energy.
Although its power is slightly weaker than a Forbidden Curse, it is much stronger than many other Magic spells.
The second form is the "Rune Hand."
A gigantic hand containing the power of Magic Ring Runes.
It requires so casting ti and has imnse destructive power.
Even among Forbidden Curses, it is considered an absolute top-tier existence.
The third form is the "Ancient God’s Hand."
A Divine Hand containing the power of an Ancient God Spirit, possessing the terrifying power to destroy heaven and earth.
It has a long casting ti, massive consumption, and requires sacrificing a certain number of "Golden Arms."
Great power always cos at a price.
When [Tarktos’ Hand] had completely integrated into the frawork of the [Evil Spirit Wizard], a glazed, golden halo of light appeared around Zorn’s body.
Tarktos’ Hand (Ancient God Forbidden Technique): Level 0 (0%)
Zorn suddenly clenched his fist, and a golden outline blood over his arm.
At the sa ti, about ten ters in front of Zorn,
WHOOSH!
A hand condensed from thick earth elents suddenly shot out of the ground, standing a full two ters tall.
Then, one after another, dozens of earth hands effortlessly burst forth all around Zorn.
The Elental Hands of earth slamd heavily onto the ground.
BOOM... RUMBLE...
The entire hill trembled slightly.
This powerful Ancient God Curse could unleash a wide-area attack with just a casual move.
As a whirlwind stirred, an Elental Hand of wind effortlessly lifted Zorn and carried him swiftly across the hilly terrain.
Zorn was simply too familiar with "Tarktos’ Hand."
Never mind the entire Holy Land Continent; even among the incredibly talented Player community,
there were very few who could match Zorn’s mastery in the application of "Tarktos’ Hand."
The "Ancient God’s Hand" was of absolute, paramount importance in a Wizard’s Spell System.
Only when a Caster mastered an "Ancient God Curse" could they be said to have a core for their Magic.
By building around it and creating synergies with other Magic spells, the effects were astonishing.
Even without using a Caster’s thods, simply using the [Fighting Master] class to control the power of the "Golden Arms" could unleash extrely destructive Ability.
Things like catching Spells with one hand, demolishing buildings with bare hands, and tearing Demons apart limb from limb could all be done.
Now that he had obtained this powerful Ancient God Curse,
it could be said that Zorn’s strength was about to take off.
If he were to encounter the previous Level Six Divine Armor: Magic Ring Tree Master again, Zorn could just pin it to the ground and beat it to a pulp.
After flying around for a bit on the "Wind Hand," a cheerful Zorn landed next to the small, five-to-six-ter-tall Tree of the Magic Ring where he had been resting earlier.
This was the site of a Legendary Ancient Mage’s Ancient Ruins.
After completing the ultimate quest and obtaining the Ancient God’s Hand,
there was a very interesting and generous Easter egg reward.
It involved using the Golden Arms to hamr the small Golden Magic Ring Tree in front of him, which would cause three to five [Golden Magic Ring Source Fruits] to drop.
For a typical Level Five Transcendent,
even with bad luck, it would be enough to increase their Level Experience by a large amount.
With good luck, they could get a whole Sequence Level’s worth of Experience for free.
For Zorn, who required an astonishing amount of Sequence Essence, it would still provide a decent boost.
Clenching his fists, Zorn went to work, striking from both left and right.
Shattering Spirit·Skull-Splitting Fist blood forth.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Five or six minutes later,
Zorn finished his tree-hamring journey.
"Not bad at all..."
Looking at the four [Golden Magic Ring Source Fruits] in his hand, Zorn nodded with great satisfaction.
"I reckon this can get my Level 4 Sequence Experience straight to around 50%."
"If I had enough ti, I could stay here and slowly raise the levels of my many Skills."
Zorn grew thoughtful as he felt the new Ancient God Curse he had just mastered.
For Zorn, who possessed a large number of ordinary Sacred Marks as well as the Immortal Calamity Sacred Mark, breaking through Levels was not an issue.
As for increasing the proficiency of his Skill Levels, Zorn already had a good idea.
There was no shortage of places to grind Skills within the Ancient Ruins.
